Agent good, Best Buy bad

Terrible customer service!

I needed an in-home tech visit to fix a printer connection problem. I scheduled it (first available appointment was more than 3 weeks out! ) and was required to pay the full $50 on the spot (in the store) in advance). I ended up fixing the problem myself and returned to the store for a refund. After waiting 20 minutes, I was told the store could not refund the $50 and I would have to call the geek squad number. I was on hold for one hour!!! Then waited 3 weeks to receive a refund!!! TERRIBLE customer service!!!!

He said he had no time. Geek Squad has some excellent installers like Scott but some “don’t care about my clients” installers.

He wanted to charge more than the original paid service to upgrade our operating syetem which was not necessary. Paid $79,99, he wanted to charge $100.00+ more which in 5 minutes Canon on the phone proved that the geek was a phony just to ring up a larger BILL PLUS, what we had paid. NEVER DID GET THE ADDED FEATURES FROM THE GEEK WHEN I REFUSED AND CALLED CANON HE JUST LEFT! Watch out for this guy!!! Please see that Best Buy corp. reviews this It was not worth the orig. 79.99 They have my phone number and can call any time.

terrible install

He was in a hurry and was irritated when we had some questions. He told myself and my wife he wasn't there to answer our questions. He put in my password and my wife's password and misspelled hers and screwed up mine so I was unable to log back in.

A call was made to me on the appointed date by an agent who deals with TV installations not with computer issues which is what I signed up for in person. I believe that the Geek Squad person to whom I talked at the store did not put the appropriate information on the call sheet. I still need help setting up several auxiliaries which I punched at Best Buy. Do I dare do so? I do have a membership. Next time should be better. My first Geek Squad session was great; I was hoping this one would be too.

Geek Squad installed my printer.

I called the store for support and they told me to call eero. I did and they found that the tech put my eero account in his name. I had to prove that the account was mine before they would transfer it back to me. I went to the store and let them know what the tech did. Bottom line, do not hire the Geek Squad on Telegraph in Southfield Michigan as their work is unacceptable and they is no support from management.

HP was the best.

Geek Squad did absolutely nothing to help me!!!

I also had a agent show up the following week for help with my laptop setup and again did absolutely nothing for me. I couldnt believe it, so makes me wonder what the geek squad actually does and whats the point of having them?

Connect Printer to Internet

Ran some proper tests and concluded current printer was broken. So I traded it in on a new one while agent went to lunch. Agent installed new printer but had the same problem. Couldn't fix and left. I Google the problem (should have first). There were four commands to reset the network. After executing reset commands at command prompt, printer connected. Old printer wasn't broken. A Windows 10 update modified the network settings incorrectly. First time an agent couldn't solve a problem.

Dissatisfied With The Geek Squad Printer Installer

I don't know how it works or how to scan. I would not recommend tge Geek Squad printer installer for this reason. I would really like someone else to come out and actually spend some time with me. I am VERY dissatisfied with Geek Squad.

Geek Squad worked on sound system and printer

Xerox Work Centre 6516 not working!

But then again, he only printed out a couple of test pages. I have not had any reason to print anything since. But I only come down to this house in Florida occasionally. I keep getting this error (024-965). Xerox on-line support is useless and the tips you get on a Google search are just as worthless. Try to get a Geek Squad appointment scheduled??? Good frigging luck! The closest one that I can get is the day after I leave to go back to the Northeast! It was the same way when I needed assistance to get the printer installed, etc.
