    Agent good, Best Buy bad

    The agent was great but Best Buy wouldn’t allow her to repair my printer. It was against their policy to repair bad printer heads. What’s the point of this service in that case?

    The geek squad was unable to fully set up the printer so I had to return the printer to the store

    We were informed it would be easier if we had Internet through Comcast, but he didn’t explain how to upload off of emails

    The Geek Squad never showed up for the scheduled appointment. We were never notified that the person never came into work after we waited all day. Called the Geek Squad and that appointment was never rescheduled. This has been the worst experience for us because the Geek Squad was always there. Because of this we needed to return the printer and hopefully we will return to buy another one.

    This service never happened. A call was made to me on the appointed date by an agent who deals with TV installations not with computer issues which is what I signed up for in person. I believe that the Geek Squad person to whom I talked at the store did not put the appropriate information on the call sheet. I still need help setting up several auxiliaries which I punched at Best Buy. Do I dare do so? I do have a membership. Next time should be better. My first Geek Squad session was great; I was hoping this one would be too.

    Not very happy with the installation of my new all in one device. Fax machine disabled the land line. Had to use a direct cable to be able to print, no WIFI connection could be established. What the what. So much for plug and play

    2 house calls today to coordinate iPhone and computer. Now no iPhone connection. Calling in to schedule an appointment requires long waits. I will not renew my contract with best buy

    the agent that came to install our computer was rude to my wife and myself and should not deal with the public at all. He was in a hurry and was irritated when we had some questions. He told myself and my wife he wasn't there to answer our questions. He put in my password and my wife's password and misspelled hers and screwed up mine so I was unable to log back in.

    Geek Squad Tech was completely disinterested and not helpful. Probably the only time ever I've had a bad experience with a Geek Squad Tech member.

    After the tech left, I could not get on my network. I called the store for support and they told me to call eero. I did and they found that the tech put my eero account in his name. I had to prove that the account was mine before they would transfer it back to me. I went to the store and let them know what the tech did. Bottom line, do not hire the Geek Squad on Telegraph in Southfield Michigan as their work is unacceptable and they is no support from management.

    Your company and it's equipment is a hassle to deal with. Actually I'm not sure it's the Geek Squad or Best Buy that is the problem.

    ib. which means "the same as above " At this time I need to get some help when the pandemic is no longer a problem. I tried evaluation according to Best Buy outline, but report could not get forwarded.

    Connect Printer to Internet

    Agent could not connect printer to the HP Instant Ink Web site. Ran some proper tests and concluded current printer was broken. So I traded it in on a new one while agent went to lunch. Agent installed new printer but had the same problem. Couldn't fix and left. I Google the problem (should have first). There were four commands to reset the network. After executing reset commands at command prompt, printer connected. Old printer wasn't broken. A Windows 10 update modified the network settings incorrectly. First time an agent couldn't solve a problem.

    HP was the best.

    Work was completed, but not lasting. I finally was able to get it completed by calling HP. Best Buy made 2 trips to my home and 1 phone aid.

    Xerox Work Centre 6516 not working!

    Things seemed to work fine when the geek completed the install. But then again, he only printed out a couple of test pages. I have not had any reason to print anything since. But I only come down to this house in Florida occasionally. I keep getting this error (024-965). Xerox on-line support is useless and the tips you get on a Google search are just as worthless. Try to get a Geek Squad appointment scheduled??? Good frigging luck! The closest one that I can get is the day after I leave to go back to the Northeast! It was the same way when I needed assistance to get the printer installed, etc.

    Not help full in getting my printer to connect as is why I signed up for the Geek Squad yearly membership and home visit. Also was a long wait time for service date.

    All the TVs are mounted properly we had an issue with the Wi-Fi system with the printer had to do some troubleshooting afterwards with HP

    Geek Squad was not able to properly set up Easy Replenish on 10/18. Today is 10/27 & it is still not enrolled because of an error message in my account. Between Best Buy & Brother, a successful solution has not been found to get this error message to go away. One of the selling points of this printer was Easy Replenish, but I may have to just get my ink from Amazon & forget about Easy Replenish! Here is the message I am receiving in my account, under Easy Replenish: Action Needed: To get your Easy Replenish enrollment going, you need to enter your printer’s serial number on Brother’s website.

      We're sorry we haven't been able to get Easy Replenish working for you. Your best bet may be to return and re-buy that printer. Sometimes that is needed to get enrolled in the program, especially if an Agent could not get it working.
