Geek Squad was unable to mount due to the wall stu

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fla agent said he was able to remove Adobe DC or make other changes because he did not have admin PW and PC would have to be taken to store. Client indicated there was no admin PW. Since there was no PW, agent should have placed cursor in box and hit return which would have enabled him to make changes. Agent was also unable to fix Brother printer to enable creation of multipage fax; was unfamiliar with fix shown on internet for this problem. Client fixed. Agent was unable to remove start up message from computer. Previous Cle agent also installed outdated version of Trend antivirus software on client machine resulting in erroneous message popups. Client had to call Trend who deleted outdated software and reinstalled current version. Prior agent also indicated that printer/fax problem was due to Fla machine. However, Fla agent was able to transmit without problem. Received a bill but do not believe the service was useful.

Technical problem

Hate Geek Squad. It use to be good but now anymore

As far as calling the local store for help it is impossible he get the call center in Asia. You cannot get a phone number for the local store. 5 different answers from 5 different people. Going on 3 days I taking this printer back.

Star was great!

I paid for 4 years Geek Squad service but I don't know what I'm getting from them --except maybe frustration. I had trouble with the printer and when I called them for help I was told I would have to PAY for a home visit! For a printer I bought TWO WEEKS before! I'm sorry I bought from Best Buy. I should have bought the unit directly from Epson. They did help me when I called.

I had both computers worked on in house to tranfer all from the old computer to the new both computers got them home and they did not transfer the right E mail ,I explain that to the in house geek tech and he said it was done,and he charged me around $100 for work that had been done at Gateway in house Geek squad tech

Printed user info MUST be included!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Technician thoroughly set up the printer but left without giving me instructions (either a demo or, preferably, a printed user pamphlet),on how to operate it --a total frustration., I tried printing out the 300+ page manual, but it printed from back to front, stopped halfway through, never got to the start-up info I needed and totally ran out of black ink. I made Geek Squad print out the first 4 manual sections to be able to print.

not quite what I was hoping for

Best Buy sucks

Issue not resolved, lack of communication

The agents did call be back to have me check the printer or do a reset. But, I come back to the computer and printer. Printer says it is in "wireless setup mode" by the pulsing purple light, for the last 14 min!. So, I think to myself that I will ck my email, Gmail......I use Chrome and IT'S GONE. I HAD TO RELOAD GOOGLE CHROME. Why was it removed and the printer not fixed without a call, text, or email?

Canon easy set up is not easy.

The ticket to set up our printer so we can scan is still not resolved due to an issue with Canon that the Geek Squad does not have a fix for.

Printer hook up

Total waste of time

They took all of 60 seconds to look at it. They could have at least acted like they looked at it. I was in and out 5 minutes before my appointment time. Disappointed in the customer service and frankly angry about the whole experience.

WI FI In Home Enhancement
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Geek Squad recommended that we purchase a 4 Orbi pack to enhance our Wi-Fi capability in our home. The Tech came out yesterday and set up the Orbi system and before he left everything was functioning but this morning NOTHING WORKS including our Sonos! Cant tell you how upset we are on this. Additionally they overcharged us by $50 on the service charge which is supposed to be a $99.00 cost. I would highly recommend you do not get sucked into this system
