    Geek Squad connected my printer/updated browser

    The technician was right on time. He was to connect my printer and update my browser and both things were done. The reason I gave him an excellent rating is that he gave me suggestions on what I could do to make my computer run more efficiently. He understood that I was technology challenged and set up the browser in a way that made it easier for me to access material. It is unusual that companies give that above and beyond service.

    The agents set up my new Epson printer with ease. However, being a tech idiot, I'm still getting used to it. Love the quality and ease so far.

    The Geek Squad installed my new printer, removed the old printer, setup necessary software on my computer and reviewed all aspects of my new printer. He also called me to follow up. Excellent work.

    Geek Squad Agent Dvid Laney was his usual efficient taskmaster, explaining to me what he was doing and going over the steps I should do on my own. Hr updated the printer, , checked my computer for viruses (none found) and gave me advice on further safety precautions to see my equipment safe As I have said before he knows my computer and accessories better than I do,

    The installation lady was great, BUT she told me that the new printer cannot FAX! Why didn’t the sales person tell me that? Also, I can only copy letter size paper??? What printer doesn’t allow legal size paper?

    My PC was not communicating with my printer. It was fixed, but a day later it was again not working. I reported it and it was fixed remotely. Working fine now.

    Mike arrived promptly as scheduled. He was courteous and very patient as he connected my printer and answered my many other questions about my WiFi, etc. as I am a “Senior” I’m sure I asked the same questions several times. Mike respectfully explained not only my printer but any other computer related questions.

    Shaquan was excellent all the way through. He is a superb, knowledgeable tech, who clearly knows his stuff. He gave us valuable advice. Everything was done efficiently and works well. Plus, he's a really nice, personable guy. Top ratings for him!!

    The Geek Squad Agent installed my new printer with great efficiency. He also explained to me how the printer works best and how to install new Ink Cartridges and how to tell when needed. I have had no problems using my printer and appreciate the helpfulnes and timeliness of the Geek Squad Agent.

    I am giving the 5 stars to Braym Escalante, your tech man, for setting the printer up. I'd never have been able to do it on my own. The book that comes with the printer is very vague and it's not easy to get answers to my questions. HP Support only answers basic questions but not the ones that need more detailed answers.

    Angel installed the printer as well as 2 A/Cs this past summer. He is reliable, on time. He goes above and beyond not only technically but in his customer relations skills which are excellent. He is most courteous and patient and went out of his way to make sure I understood the printer functions. Please send him again for my next Tech Upport visit. He is an outstanding tech support.

    Agent did it faster than I could have done it

    The Geek Squad Agent did the setup faster than I could have done it. I asked about putting the 2.0 USB from my printer into a 3.0 USB port and was told by the Agent that it should not be a problem. The Agent connected my printer with the 2.0 USB into the 3.0 USB port and it seemed to work because he printed a test page from the printer. When I went to print a page from a website I was looking at through Google, it would not print. It would not print from AOL either. I changed the printer from the 3.0 USB port to a 2.0 USB port and I could print just fine. The Geek Squad Agents should test farther with printers than just doing a test page. Now I need to get a 2.0 USB Hub because the Dell G5 doesn't have enough 2.0 USB ports on the back.

    Made an appointment at day and time I wanted. Agent kept me posted on when he would arrive -- for his benefit as well as mine. He didn't want to show up & find I wasn't there. He helped me through the glitch I encountered in setting up my printer ... explained shat he was doing and answered all my question. Nice to have expert help when needed!
