Controller is as good as any xbox controller. This is a gift for a four year old who is already comfortable with the xbox controllers.

Feels more natural in my hands than the game pad deal-y, plus I find it to be less of a distraction than the game pad with it's screen active all the time. Battery seems to last longer as well.

Though there is not much ACT game that require this controller, but it is still a good one, it is easy to handle and connect.

The Wii U Pro Controller is my favorite gaming controller to date. I've come to greatly prefer the analog stacks being aligned at top, the rumble is very strong if you want, a it's essential for the Virtual Console if you don't want to use the GamePad. The battery is actually the same battery used in the first 3DS model. Of course now since it's only powering this controller, and not screens and processors, the battery life is absolutely incredible (literally lasting months of normal use). The battery is also user replaceable and the controller is charged via USB.

This controller works well for adults. The remotes are smaller, where this controller is more comfortable for my hands.

My kids just love it, they had Game-pad, Remote-plus and now they have pro-controller. They are happy playing Super Smash Bros with it :). I was worried whether this would work as I live in Norway and bought it from US. But thankfully the controllers are NOT region-locked (except Game-pad, I guess).

Good and easy to use. Common layout and needed for some of the quicker paced games for sure. A must have with the Wii U.

The Wii U Pro Controller is an all around great buy. It feels great in the hands, is easy to sync to your system and works with many of the new games. I would definitely recommend getting one

We have now bought three of these controllers for our Wii U and they are very user friendly and well designed. They also have very good battery life for a rechargeable device

I bought these because using the regular wii motion plus controllers is very uncomfortable when playing a multiplayer game. I tried playing super Mario 3d with my kids, and my fingers kept slipping off of the d-pad, making it impossible to keep up. I spent more time being carried in a bubble then keeping up with my kids, lol! After buying these pro controllers, it's much easier to play multiplayer games. We all have a great time now when we play together. I definitely recommend these controllers if you plan on playing a multiplayer game, like Mario 3d or nintendoland. They are a much more comfortable fit in your hand, and make controlling your game much easier. Great purchase!

Comfortable, great battery that lasts forever. Perfect for smash or Bayonetta, but otherwise the gamepad is enough.

This is the preferred controller for playing games that don't require the GamePad. It's lighter, rumbles better, feels nicer. It's simply more comfortable. And the battery life is amazing.

This item is awesome. The battery last a very long time, and it fits in an adults hands that feels very nice, you don't end up getting hand cramps after using this item for a long time.

I love the Pro Controller! For a few of the games that my son and I play, it is so much easier than using a Wiimote but it also can sometimes be better than the Wii U Gamepad. Recommended if you don't like using Wiimotes.

This controller is nicer for those use to normal controls from other consoles. It fits nicely in your hands and comfortable. I don't mind the bulky Wii U gamepad, but this style controller is more in my personal comfort zone.
