Sure it's fun playing the Wii U with the Wii U game pad, but for some games you just gotta have a pro controller. Doesn't make your hand hurt after long periods of time how some funkily shaped controllers sometimes can (boy does the controller cramps suck!)

Hands down best controller you can use for the Wii U. 40 hr battery life and light weight.... I think I like it better than my Xbox one controller!

In order to include his Dad in the fun this controller served the pupose to get me in to the game.

I was in the store and was picking up new controllers, and went with this instead of a new Wii remote because it worked standalone and I wanted to add a gamepad as well; two birds with one stone. It is functional, but the buttons are not in my favorite locations and thus make them difficult to get used to. I have large hands and thought they wouldn't be difficult, but I still found myself primarily using the A button only on Smash Brothers. While watching the screen, I would think I'm reaching to push B, but end up only making it to A. I may just need to get used to it, but if I can't do B that easily, I can't imagine if X and Y are needed. It feels like they tried to copy XBox's controller but had to make changes to avoid the patents, but moving the XYBA location wasn't, in my opinion, the way to go. I won't be buying another one of these in the future. I'll likely focus on adding Wii remotes and GameCube controllers instead. Hopefully others had better luck

I think the design is very comfortable. I wish it worked like the wiimotes do with the sensor.

I personally prefer controllers to Wii Remotes, so this was a first day purchase for me. Controls are simple, and the fit in my hand fine. Recommended if you're like me and don't you're hands doing two different things at once, like Wii-chucking and stabbing.

Works great with compatible games, well built and no quirks like some aftermarket controllers.

The regular Wii-mote is fine for most stuff, but if you need a controller with some usefulness, this is the controller to get! I played the remastered Ducktales, which only allows the use of a pro controller or the big one with the screen, which works, but is definitely not ideal. This Pro controller feels much better and lasts much longer! You do have to charge it up when you first get it, so you can't just pull it out of the box and play, but it lasts a long time! Definitely not a controller you *need*, but if you play a lot of different style games, it will definitely be nice to have.

I bought this after trying third party controls. Just get this one it works and it's really well made. Nintendo makes decent products and that's what you get here.

Now that we have a better variety of multi platform games coming to the Wii U its great to have a controller that matches what I've been accustom to in other console controllers. It's comfortable and better suits me than the standard Wii controller. I like!

I actually like this controller better then the Wii U pad, it was easy to setup and connect.

This is a great controller. Light but sturdy. Works great when you don't want to use a Wilmore.

Controller works as expected. Needed another controller so we could all play Mario Cart 8.

I had to buy this controller so my kids could play their game together. They love it. The battery life is great and it is the perfect size.

Purchased this for non driving games. I enjoy it because this is the controller that evolved from my gaming days. Any boys are fine with the original wii style controllers (flat stick style). Nice fit for my hands. More difficult for younger users.

This is one of the most comfortable controllers I have ever used. It is about as close to perfect fit as any controller. I do have hands on the larger size but even my wife, who has much smaller hands, says it is very comfortable to hold and use.

Can't have a console and one controller with two kids. Works as expected :)

My daughter received this game controller as a belated Christmas gift because she received a game that recommended use of the Pro controller. The only review I can offer for this product is that it must work because the daughter is happy.

The remote works well and doesn't lag when you're far away from the wii. Great for kids

very useful and a lot easier to use than the regular wii controlers.. and its rechargable!
