We use this for our Wiiu2, it works great and is easy to use.

I really love this controller, it's comfortable, light, and the battery life is the best I've ever seen.

Got this remote to play Splatoon with my soon. He uses the game pad and I use this. I wish I didn't have to buy a new remote to play a game, but since buying it is all I use for almost every game.

It's a godsend for Mario Kart 8 or Super Smash Bros... or Super Mario 3D World or Hyrule Warriors or New Super Mario Bros U. Price is a little high, but not as bad as the ones for the PS4 or Xbox One.

Since I bought the Mario Kart 8 kit, it only came with the gamepad to play on. I wanted to be able to play multiplayer games, so I purchased this controller and have been very content with it.

What I have used this controller it has been great. It's perfect for me because I enjoy the standard controller feel. Much better than playing games with the wii motion controller in my opinion

Bundled this product with SM3D world game for son's Christmas, and he's been very happy to have the upgraded controller available for multi-player games. A very good addition to have for Wii U owners.

Son wanted handheld controller for better gameplay. It looks like he loves it. There are other no name brands that were much cheaper, but I rather get something with Nintendo's stamp of approval.

As title says unless its not supported or you need the tablet screen this is the best controller to use on the wii u unless your playing smash in which case you should use the gamecube controller.

This controller is needed for many of the wii u games if more than one player wants to play. For some games you can use the old wii remotes (usually with an extra piece you need to buy). I have no complaints about the controller itself. It works as needed. But I really think at least one should be included when you purchase the wii u.

Controller is similar to Xbox control easy to use and nice

This controller is great because it takes away the need to plug in one controller to a different one. No more long cord and the wii remote falling to the floor while using a plugged in controller.

I am completely fine just using the gamepad mostly, even though it is rather big. But this controller is more traditional and familiar and in that regard it is great. Very comfortable to hold.

If you normal game on a Playstation or Xbox. This is the controlled for you. No silly motion controls or bar sensors. From Smash to Mario Kart and everything in between this is my go to controller.

Works, and a must have alternative to the Wii U game pad.

My son has always wanted to play two player on a lot of his games on the Wii U but we have only had the GamePad and Wii Motion Remotes. When he got this, his friends and he played for hours!
