I was hoping this would be less expensive or on sale when I bought it, but it's sturdy and worth it

It is pricey to get the official controller made by nintendo, however, I know that it is made well.

The pad that came with the Wii U started cramping my hands and needed to get a controller there after.

This controller is perfect for Wii U games. My only complaint is that it does not work on Wii games or Wii Virtual Console games and thus you still have to buy the Wii Classic Remote to play some Wii games.

For the longest time I only used the Wii U pad and was hesitant to try anything else. Then my wife decided she wanted to play as well and I have this controller a try and I must say it was the best choice I could have made. I wish I would have gotten this controller sooner for SSB!

Its nice to have a second controller like the gamepad but without the screen that saps battery life.

It's maddening to think that Nintendo does not use this controller as a stock controller. It's perfect for gamers who want to play for hours with no worry - no waggle - no motion - just games. It feels nice in the hand - holds a hell of a charge and goes nicely with the all black system. Get it.

Even though the Wii U comes with the tablet controller, this controller still does a great job.

Since I play Xbox a lot I am use to the controller. This controller makes it easy to play the wiiu.

Since the game pad has such short battery life, the pro controller is a life saver for any Wii U owner.

I think this controller is great. It's very comfortable to hold while playing for long periods of time.

This controller is reminiscent of XB1 and PS4 controllers and allow for a much better grip and comfort while playing any games that are not touch screen required. Fighting games like smash are a lot easier with this controller, and it's easier to feel more competetive with it.

Control is exactly as description states. My daughter loved it. No longer uses other remotes.

I like the USB charging for this instead of using batteries. It is user friendly for any skill level.

It's nice to have different controllers for the variety of WiiU games. I didn't like this controller for games with functions like the Mario games, but I do like it for games such as Super Smash Bros.
