Plays great. Even on the gamepad screen. Awesome game that I've been waiting years for Nintendo to finally make. Wish it was the first version they showed but they probably had to change the graphics so the console could run it.

Controller works great for all wii u games. Wish that you could use it with wii games as well.

This controller is a lot easier to use than the keypad. The battery life could be longer though

The Addition of this controller is great when having a second player and adds more versatility to the system. It also allows you to stay away from the standard wii controllers for some games where this controller allows a better gameplay experience

Feels good in the hands. Even better to be wireless. Grip is better then the game pad I feel.

Love the WiiU Gamepad, but wanted something with more of a 'pro gamer' feel for games like Madden and other action-adventure games (that underutilize the Gamepad). Button positioning takes some getting used-to, but it's basically the same as the Gamepad. I did notice that this control lacks the accelerometer of the Gamepad/Wii Remote and those actions are assigned to buttons (New Super Mario Bros U, for example).

I was barely playing the Wii u until I got two of these just because I hated using that darn game pad tablet thing. These controllers make the experience SOOO much better. I definitely recommend using these over anything else.

Much easier than the WiiU game pad to use when playing games like zelda hyrule warriors.

Got this free with purchase of a WII U. So really haven't used it. Looks like it will be good to have with some games.

This controller makes all the difference. The monster game pad that comes with the Wii U is bulky and difficult to play with for extended periods of time. The Pro Controller has familiar button placement and is easy to hold.

When Mario Kart 8 was released, the controller was really a good fit to racing games.

It has a great ergonomics but its not easy to use in games as Mario Kart, I would rather prefer the normal controller.

Easy to setup but i wish it comes to package in nintendo wiiU so thats less money....

Nintendo did a great job making this controller. It is very responsive and comfortable, and all Wii U owners should have at least one for multiplayer gaming, it's a great improvement from the Wii Remote & Nunchuk combo.

I prefer this controller over the gamepad, the rumble and quick response! An issue I've had is that a number of games have 'secrets' that require gamepad use. Since there's no mic on the Controller, they get lost.

This controller is so much better than the standard Nintendo Switch Controller. Its a lot easier to go from the right stick to the A, B, X, Y, buttons. Well worth the purchase.
