At first I was shocked by the price. I know Nintendo charges more for their products and thought that 70 dollars for a controller was a bit excessive. Once I opened the box and felt the quality, i was impressed. It has a good weight, the buttons feel sturdy and crisp. I think it feels more durable than the Xbox one controller and fits better in your hand than the PS4. The battery life is excellent as well. I'm glad I picked this up.

Comfortable to use, solid weight, and much preferable to using the on-board controls on the switch lite, especially for games like Zelda Been using it two years and it's still going strong. I do think it's silly how much a single controller costs, but, it is what it is.

This controller has a great weight and feel to it. It is a great replacement for not having to always use the joy con controllers. The feel and weight of it is similar to that of an xbox one controller. My only complaint with it is that it does not have NFC on it to read amiibo. You have to use the joy cons for that. The charge last for a while and comes with a usb that can be plugged right into the dock.

This controller enhances the Nintendo Switch experience. The joy cons don't feel as robust and immersive as these controllers do. I highly recommend them for long hours of gameplay as they are more comfortable and the battery life lasts long. It even feels nice in the hands than the PS4 controller.

Decent controller, battery lasts long, nice feel, like it better than playing with joy cons. Don’t have to worry about wearing out that piece on the joy cons and having the controller pop out from the Joycon grips when gaming gets a little Intense. Only con is that it’s too pricey for my liking

Even on sale its still a bit pricey, but had a $10 rewards for a past game preorder plus it was $63 so it was a much better deal. Its great having a chargeable controller plus it feels much better than joycons/joycon grip. On a personal note I wish they made the old Gamecube controller but with a chargeable battery instead of batteries.

After 4 years, my controller started getting drift. not bad for a controller that I've been using for about 4 years. I had to buy another one because I know it'll last long. It feels better than the joycons. If you own a nintendo switch, it's a must have.

This controller is sized well for adult hands. It’s comfortable to hold and use, and the buttons and sticks feel good to use—very responsive. Solid construction. Happy with the purchase overall, however I wish the price were a bit more competitive.

Must have accessory for the Nintendo Switch!

There are a couple of accessories that are useful to get when you finally get your hands on the new Nintendo Switch. Things like a travel case, a big Micro SD card, a screen protector, and definitely the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. After playing for a short time with the regular Switch controllers while waiting for the Pro to charge I made the change to the pro and haven’t gone back yet. The standard controllers are fine but the pro gives you the familiar, comfortable console controller feel. It has a nice solid, but not heavy weight to it with buttons where you expect and all the extra unique Switch ones there too. It has nice control and responsiveness as expected but it is really more about the comfort in your hands rather than technical specs that make it a must have. The only minor drawback might be the function of the “A” and “B” buttons with the Switch being basically reversed from other systems and taking some getting used to but that applies to the standard Switch controllers as well. Having the Pro controller in my hands made my fingers want to push the buttons the way they normally do with other systems because of the familiar shape of Pro so it was a little harder to remember the buttons at first. I only have played Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild so far and the standard controllers will likely be more appropriate for many other games but this is great for everything else.

    Beautiful Design and Plays Well

I waited before buying this Switch Pro Controller. I was doing fine with the default controller and using the console itself as a controller. Getting the Pro was definitely more of a want than a need for me but I finally bought it when there was a sale. I really wanted to play on a big screen while having an accurate motion controller. That's one of the main reasons I decided to get this. — CONTROLLER — This is well-designed with a semi-transparent main body that lets you see beneath the plastic, with grips having a nicely-textured material wrapped around them. The buttons are smooth and work as well as previous controllers by Nintendo. After you set your motion control settings to exactly how you want them, this controller feels natural to hold and a dream to play. — BATTERY — This controller is charged via a provided USB-C cable. It takes 6 hours to charge, and you get 40 hours to play. That is more than reasonable for a wireless controller. — SUMMARY — The price was a tad bit high and I didn't get it until they dropped the price. Hopefully, there’s a future permanent price drop so it makes getting this easier to swallow. This is a great looking controller that plays well. Recommended.

    Essential for pro Nintendo gaming

If you are passionate about gaming with your Nintendo Switch, then you definitely need at least one of these pro controllers. They are practically essential for in-depth play sessions when your Switch is docked to the TV. Whether you are venturing through Hyrule, brawling online in a tournament, or teaming up with your friends to save the Marvel universe, you will find these controllers to be your bread and butter. There is no drifting issue, which is frequently found with the included joy con controllers. Trust me, nothing is more frustrating than watching your characters fall from a cliff simply because of drifting. The battery lasts through your extended play sessions. The wireless feature prevents the need to untangle a mass of cables. The only caution I have is to make sure that you don't have any static charge on your body when you pick up one of these controllers; they are highly susceptible to electric shocks that ultimately destroy them. If you are cautious about this singular issue, then what are you waiting for? Go purchase at least one of these controllers and get your GAME ON!

It's a great bit of kit, so much better than any of the other 3rd party controllers I have used. Battery life is good, it's held up to a beating so far. Great ergonomics for medium sized man-hands. As with most official Nintendo hardware, it's overpriced by about 20%

I recently purchased the Pro Wireless Controller for Nintendo Switch from BestBuy, and I must say it has been a fantastic addition to my gaming experience. This controller offers a level of comfort and functionality that surpasses the Joy-Con controllers that come with the Switch. First and foremost, the build quality of the Pro Wireless Controller is excellent. It feels sturdy and well-made, which gives me confidence that it will last for a long time. The ergonomics of the controller are also worth mentioning. The grip is comfortable, and the button placement feels natural. It fits perfectly in my hands, even during extended gaming sessions, and doesn't cause any discomfort or hand fatigue. One of the standout features of this controller is the wireless connectivity. The Bluetooth connection is strong and reliable, allowing me to play games without any lag or input delay. Pairing the controller with my Nintendo Switch was a breeze, and I appreciate the hassle-free setup process. The Pro Wireless Controller also boasts an impressive battery life. I can play for hours on end without needing to recharge it. This is especially beneficial for long gaming sessions or when I'm on the go and don't have access to a power source. The USB-C charging port is conveniently located at the top of the controller, making it easy to plug in and charge when needed. In terms of performance, the Pro Wireless Controller delivers excellent responsiveness and precision. The buttons are responsive, and the analog sticks provide smooth and accurate movement. The controller also features motion controls, which work flawlessly and add an extra level of immersion to certain games. Furthermore, the Pro Wireless Controller offers additional features that enhance the gaming experience. It includes a built-in gyroscope, HD rumble, and amiibo functionality. These features add depth and immersion to compatible games, allowing me to feel more connected to the gameplay. The only minor drawback I found with this controller is the lack of NFC support for scanning Amiibo. It would have been nice to have that functionality built into the controller, as it eliminates the need to switch to the Joy-Con controllers when using Amiibo. However, this is a minor inconvenience and doesn't significantly impact the overall experience. Overall, I highly recommend the Pro Wireless Controller for Nintendo Switch from BestBuy. It offers exceptional build quality, comfortable ergonomics, reliable wireless connectivity, and impressive battery life. With its responsive controls and additional features, it enhances the gaming experience and provides a viable alternative to the default Joy-Con controllers. If you're looking to elevate your Nintendo Switch gaming experience, this controller is definitely worth considering.

Overall, this is one of the best controllers I've had. The battery life is huge, it feels good to hold, and the texture is wonderful. However, I've got two gripes with it: 1. The triggers aren't analog. It's 2017. The gamecube had these, for crying out loud. Where'd they go? 2. The dpad has issues. It's easy for the controller to mistake a left or right input for an up one. This is an issue that should have been fixed in QA. To be honest, the joycon grip is fine for what it is. Unless you feel the grip is cramped, which I can see it happening for some people, you don't really need it. If you're on the edge of buying this and don't have a switch yet, get the switch and see how the grip feels. If it's sub-par, the pro controller is a good buy.

When I started experiencing the dreaded drift I bought a third party controller. We eventually upgraded to the Pro Controller and it's so much more comfortable to use then the drifting Joy Cons (my wrists especially feel better) and a smoother experience then the third party controllers.

This controller is the most comfortable gaming controller I've ever held. Far more comfortable than the things that come in the switch box. Battery lasts a respectable long time. The price is a bit much. But it is worth it if you play a long time in one session. Especially for a game like Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

From the feel and comfort of this controller to the amazing battery life, this controller simply the best gaming controller I've ever had! It has a nice weight to it and feels every bit go the high price you have to pay to obtain it. Yes that price is pretty steep but it gives you so much play time on a single charge! 45-55 hours! Really glad I picked this one up!
