This is a good option to have available when your fingers are tired from using the joy cons. I purchased this as a back up if you're playing for an extended period of time. It was on sale, too.

I needed a controller for my switch console, and this one was perfect

The controller was a must component because it gave that extra feeling of playing games with a universal gaming type controller. The switch has smaller controllers that are great, but this one just gives an extra edge of playing.

The best controller money can buy for the switch. It’s a game changer to the joycons when you want to sti at home and play especially with adult sized hands. No brainer!

The regular Switch controllers are fine for most things, although they do tend to drift, but the Pro controller is great for games that require precise gameplay.

Of the many Nintendo Switch controllers available, this is definitely the favorite one to use. It has great battery life and I’ve had zero issues while using it.

My 10 year old grandson loves it. He wants another one for Christmas.

I have an Xbox one and a switch. When I first bought the switch I wasn’t a fan of the controller, but the pro controller is very comfortable and is very similar to an Xbox controller. I highly recommend this.

dont get discouraged by the price, this controller is packed with cool tech. and the design is just perfect, feels perfect, works perfect, its really a nice piece of technology. this is how im playing Zelda breath of the wild with.

Had no issues and worked as intended, glad Nintendo came out with a controller option Vs only the little joycons lol.

The switch joycons are nice but they’re tiny and can sometimes be tiring as they have no actual grip. With the pro controller you can game more comfortably and beat the more technical levels with ease!

A really great controller for the switch! Definitely recommend than the powerA controller, which end up getting joycon drift.

This controller is needed if you want to play the Switch docked. The Joy Cons work if needed but let’s be honest nothing beats a regular style controller.

I am mostly impressed with this controller. It is very nice for making precise movements. I have only had it 2-3 months and it has probably been used on average for a few hours a day. The only thing I’m concerned with is the d-pad calibration seems to be off. For example, when I try to press one direction on the d-pad; eg. up, it sometimes reads as left or right. It’s doesn’t always happen, but it gets a little annoying when playing very competitive games, but the overall feel of the controller is smooth and allows more precise movement than my last controller.

Simply put, if you plan on playing anything like a standard video game you need this controller. It is not as well built as others, but the button placements and size work really well. The battery life on this is unbelievable.

Fantastic battery life, motion controls are great. What you expect from a pro controller.

This is actually quite a nice controller in general, albeit pricey. But I do have one not-so-minor complaint: the face buttons are MUSHY. They're just not that pleasant to press. And I LIKE membrane-style buttons. Turns out with a little searching you can actually find a replacement membrane that feels much snappier, and it's super easy to open this controller and replace. Now? It's one of my favorites!
