Great Controller & Great Price
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I enjoy that it maintains some level of motion control even just to wake the console from the power save mode. Bought it a few weeks ago and put it through the ringer with Bayonetta and Zelda. No lag, no loosening of the sticks. Way better made than most of the XBox controllers I’ve bought!!

The 2nd best controller of all time.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In terms of comfort, button placement, design, the way the sticks feel, and how satisfying it is to push any button with a nice "click" feeling, this is easily the second best controller ever made behind the Xbox One controller. It is SO comfortable and the battery lasts a REALLY long time and charges super fast thanks to USB C. Definitely beats every aspect of the very cheap feeling ps4 controller with terrible battery life. Although is it necessary if you just have the grip and joy cons? Not necessarily but it is definitely the best way to play your games.

A good controller
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a good controller. I bought it for my wife to play Zelda because it was kind of a struggle to play with the two joy cons. I've never had any sort of lag or interference issues with it. It seems really expensive for what it is, and I haven't tried less expensive wireless controllers to see how they compare.

Great upgrade if you play for more than an hour
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller is much more comfortable than the one that comes with the console. I played for months with the joy-cons attached to the grip handle. But with games like Zelda I needed more than an hour to move fordward in the story, and the joy-cons started to feel very uncomfortable, So I upgraded to the Pro and it was a huge difference. Loved it. It took me a few days to get used to the new buttons setup, but it was worth it. No more cramped hands xD. I also think that the battery of this controller last longer than the joy-cons.

Solid controller, wireless, built-in battery
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Seems like a solid controller and I like the fact that the battery is built in. My only complaint is that it looks cheap and it is on the pricey side. Having said that, it doesn't feel cheap at all in that the buttons all seem solid and the controller itself has heft to it. It has also survived a fall with no scratches :)

Best Switch Controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the controller that should come with the switch. It works 100% better than the joy cons and I find it has a pretty good battery life. My kids have played on the switch for two or three days straight before needing to charge it. I also bought one for myself, so when I play I got a my own controller that I use. Yea it’s expensive, but it’s totally worth it once you are use to the controller.

Awesome Controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I do not care for Xbox too much, but the 360 arguably has the best ergonomic controller, at least for my hands. This controller is pretty close to that level of comfort for me, and it has some heft to it so it does not feel like it is flimsy, but not overly heavy. The only thing it is missing is a headphones port, but the Switch can use wireless headphones now so that is less of an issue. My recommendation is to buy at least one as the joy-con are fine, but this is how you will want to game when you can.

A good alternative to Joy-Cons, but that d-pad...
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, I like this controller a lot. The battery life is insane. I've gotten through several weeks of playing numerous hours every day on a single charge (I'm writing this as the Coronavirus lockdown is going on). It feels good to hold and it doesn't have the Bluetooth connectivity issues I've encountered with the Joy-Cons. However, the d-pad is garbage. This is a common complaint I've read many people make online, and it is totally true. This is most obvious if you try to play Tetris 99 with it (a good game you should definitely play), where it will falsely register d-pad presses and ruin your game CONSTANTLY. It's a shame they couldn't get that one very important thing right, because otherwise this would be a nearly flawless controller.

Much bigger difference than anticipated
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this controller since I had a gift card and reward certificates, and even then my wife thought I was wasting my money. Flash forward to today and my wife is the one telling me when need to buy another one! I never minded the joycons in their controller dock but there is a noticeable difference going from joycons to the pro controller.... The buttons are so much bigger and it's so comfortable! Battery life is amazing as well, I'd highly recommend!

Expensive, but Worth It
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a really great controller and it's a huge improvement over the Joy-Con Grip that comes with the Switch. The buttons are a decent size, there's a D-pad, and it's in a form that's way more comfortable than the Grip. It feels like a mix between an Xbox One and Xbox 360 controller and I like it. It also keeps the motion controls and NFC chip for games that require it. I like that Nintendo continues to use USB-C even with their accessories as well. It's expensive to be sure, but it's not a purchase I regret.

Essential if you have the Switch
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My son loves his Switch but got tired of using the smaller joy-cons that come with the unit. This pro wireless controller is a high-quality add-on to the system, and in my opinion, it's essential for those who will use the Switch as their primary gaming console. He won't travel with it -- the joy-cons are fine for that -- but for normal home use, the pro controller is the way to go.

Pricey but High Quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller is really high quality and has great battery life. It was a bit more expensive than some of the Switch Controllers I saw at the store however.

Great controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am glad Nintendo released this pro controller. The joy cons are alright but there’s nothing like an actual controller in your hands when you want to play a game. It’s smaller than the PlayStation controller and fits well in my hands. Very comfortable to play for long periods of time, the battery lasts a good amount of time too. I have to charge it once every week and a half to two weeks and I play for 5+ hours per day.

A great feeling controller with small caveats
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller feels just as good as most controllers i used (Xbox One, Dualshock 4). The only small caveats i have with this controller is a weird joystick issue where if you flick the stick hard/fast enough (usually when executing quick inputs), it would “snapback” and go the opposite input. This can be a bit annoying since i didn’t had that issue with othercontrollers but i got used to it. Also wished this controller was a bit cheaper as 70 dollars is a bit steep, though other new flagship controllers from other consoles are nearly the same.
