This controller is reminiscent of the xbox controller. If you like large controllers, I reccomend getting this one. It is worth the investment. The battery long lasting and it is comfortable on the hands. It is also made with pretty good material so it feels lux. I def reccomend switching to a wireless controller. Overall improved comfortability and gameplay.

4 years owning a switch and I finally bought the pro controller. Didn’t want to get an off brand so I went with this one. It’s great quality and feels great.

Don't get me wrong, the Joy Con works great and its versatility is unmatched. However, nothing beats a traditional controller for the typical "couch gaming". If you use your Switch on tv mode more often than not then this is an absolute must for you. It's lightweight and the button layout is excellent. Very well designed. Will make games like Zelda much easier to maneuver. Excellent product all around, worth every penny.

This controller is one of the most comfortable I have used. In addition to comfort, the controller also has great battery life. Some users complain about the directional pad having issues with pressing buttons inadvertently, however I have had no such issues. It seems that the users with this issue tend to roll their thumb over the buttons on the directional pad instead of pressing each button individually.

This controller is awesome. For me personally, the comfort grip didn't wow me. I feel the buttons on the Joy-Cons are a little small for at home gaming, but the Pro Controller solves that issue. It has a nice hefty weight to it and it feels solid in your hand. The battery life of the controller is also a plus. For games like Zelda and other shooter titles coming to the switch in the future, this controller is a must have.

I will start by saying that I am not only a Nintendo fanboy. I have a PS4, Xbox One, gaming PC, many handheld consoles, and every Nintendo console from the original famicom. This is by far one of the most comfortable controllers out there. The weight is excellent! It doesn't feel light and cheap like the Wii U pro controller. It is comfortable for hours of play. If you own a switch, pick this up. You won't be disappointed.

Worth the purchase for your switch. This controller is much better than the Power A. It feels great playing all sorts of games with this controller. Battery is also really good (and easy to recharge) compared to the joycons which were driving me crazy how fast the battery on those go.

Although the Nintendo Switch pro controller might be a bit pricy of its $70 price tag, it's worth it in the long run. It makes the switch much better than the default Joy Con grip while playing in docked mode. I also love the battery life on it much better than the dual shock 4's battery life. It's one of the best controllers I've used this gen it also feels more comfortable than the Xbox One controler.

This controller is a must. It feels great in my hands and adds a level of control that was missing using the default joy con controller. This pairs easily with a Nintendo switch And holds a charge for a good amount of time The rumble is a little funny it’s a very gentle vibration and unlike controllers for other consoles

Great controller, a must have for Switch owners especially if you have adult sized hands. I will admit, I thought it was a little high on the price side but now I feel like it was worth every penny. The quality is top notch. In my opinion they took the best of a PS4 controller and the best of an Xbox One elite controller and joined them together. Not to mention it has drastically improved my Mario Kart lap times!

I've always loved using the Switch Pro controllers, so grabbing one for myself really was a treat! The build is really sturdy and the buttons feel like how you'd want them for a console controller. Definitely prefer this over the joy cons any day.

Much better/comfortable than the joy cons. Much like the Wii U pro controller, buy with a nice matte finish, sturdier build, and amazing battery life (three days! Same as the Wii U but still great) Highly recommend. The d-pad is especially much better if you play platformers, retro games, or 8/16/32-bit indie games.

It’s expensive, but it is a higher quality controller compared to the rest of the wireless ones in the market. I was having trouble with the joycons while the switch is docked - it would disconnect every few minutes. I already had a (slightly cheaper) wireless controller, but needed another for 2p. No connection issues and solid battery life, so I can’t complain!

Picked this up because I was fed up with the drift issues of the joycon controllers and I refuse to purchase anymore of those. I was worried this might feel bulky or heavy but it's quite comfortable and easy to use. Battery life is pretty good too. I wish I would have bought this sooner instead of wasting money on the joycon controllers.

Now of the trinity of console gaming (Microsoft, Nintendo, Sony), Nintendo has always been the ones to be the most daring. This gave them the money printer known as the Wii while admittedly also giving them the nightmare that was the Wii U (that however wasn't actually a result of lack of innovation but more the result of really bad marketing, an almost non-exist third party presence and a bit to do with the comparative technical specifications of the console compared to the original PlayStation 4 and original Xbox One (it didn't even come close to the Xbox One, Actually, come to think about it, the Switch is needless to say actually more powerful than the Wii U and the console itself is really just a small tablet that has a dock to output to a TV). Needless to say Switch is not the Wii U and the Joy Con are prime examples of Nintendo's creative thinking and are actually the result of feedback from the Wii Remote. But the Joy Con may be a headache to some. The face buttons (A,B,X,Y) are literally the size of the 3DS one's and more importantly the D-pad is a split one instead of full not to mention even in the Grip the Joy-Con might be a bit small. If you find these to be problems, then the Pro Controller is for you. It's a more traditional control that fixes all these problems and it still has all the functionality of the Joy-Con. So yeah this will be your friend if you want a controller other than the Joy-Con in the Joy-Con Grip.

The only downside is I wish the controller was a little less expensive. I absolutely hate the joycons so I'm really glad they sell actual controllers. I wish they would have sold at least one with the main switch that can be used as a home console beause I never play handheld so this was a must. It feels great and I haven't charged it in 3 days and it still has juice left. Tried playing zelda without it and it felt impossible at least for me. Highly recommend getting this. You may want to look into a wired one if you're planning on always being close to the screen and trying to save a little bit of money.

The controller looks amazing as it is, but it feels nice to hold, and works very well. The battery lasts insanely long. I've been a huge fan of Xbox controllers, but I think this might take the cake, I am in love with how this controller feels and functions. and the subtle transparency in the plastic adds a really nice effect! I bought the splatoon one for my friend and now i bought this one for myself.
