I read good things about this controller but didn't expect that I would like it myself so much. It feels heavy in hands and has monstrous battery life. I wish microsoft and sony could keep up with this battery life. See through design feels a bit weird at first but now I started to like it.

This controller is a must have for playing with the switch docked, much better than the joy con controller and the battery lasts a long time. The only con is that it’s expensive at $70, if you can get it on sale for $60 or less that’s a more reasonable price.

One of the best controllers on the market. It has a very long battery life and the weight is perfect, not to light or heavy. It connects and turns the consol on.

For a traditional feeling of a controller, this is it. It's comfortable and feels natural. The buttons aren't spaced out so it's effortlessly easy. I forgot how long the battery lasts but it took about 4 days before I had to charge it. Although I didn't play games for 12 hours at a time. I usually play about 2-4 hours a day. Overall, it's one controller to have with the Switch

The thumb-stick covers do not come off

I had the Nintendo Switch with 4 Joy-Cons (2 each side) since 2018. Everyone in the family and their friends love it, but especially our toddler loves to bite on the thumbstick which always results in the thumbstick pad getting removed. Now all 4 of them are lost, probably to the housekeepers vacuum cleaner. Of course these only cost about $5 each to replace, but as I researched this I also realized that our 8 year old really struggles with holding the two separate Joy-Cons, she really just wants them both together in the Joy-Con grip or attached to the Switch itself, which meant I was connecting and un-connecting a lot of Joy-Cons all the time! I finally realized that the Pro Wireless Controller was the permanent solution to these minor inconveniences, and also made Completionists in our house much happier with the smooth responsiveness and comfortable grip. Now I am considering getting a second one for multi-player mode. Best accessory I have gotten so far for our Switch, makes the games much more enjoyable!

Huge improvement from joy-cons in terms of joystick feel and precision. D-pad is functional, but inputs are sometimes registered incorrectly (not a major issue for me, as I do not play D-pad heavy games). Charge lasts a very long time. Pricey, but worth it if you frequently play your Switch in docked mode.

I cannot play my switch on my TV without this controller anymore. The buttons, triggers, and sticks feel amazing and the quality is top notch. The handles also have a rubbery texture all around which feels great in your hand. Feels like a great and durable product and I would recommend this to anyone.

If it is hard to get used to two handed operation of the switch this is the way to go. Great battery life, comfortable, and similar to other console controllers. Just fyi if you get a wired controller to save a few bucks you will probably be wishing you got this first as they have issues. We ignored the warnings and here we are now.

Since getting my Switch a couple years ago, I off and on looked at the Pro controller. I finally got it and the only thing I regret is not getting it sooner. It did take a little time for me to get used to the buttons because they pressed a little differently than the joycons and the placement for the home and screenshot buttons. It doesn't take long though to get used to and it now feels weird using the joycons in the grip that mimics a controller. It's definitely worth getting this one vs. a third party Pro controller because all the ones I looked at didn't have the vibration in the controller like this one. I thought this feature was good to have as it can be important enough to certain games. I've had minimal connection issues between it and the Switch and for the two times I did, it didn't take long for it to sort itself out. I found the battery life is also wicked good to the point where I can use it for several days before I even have to charge it. I'm completely satisfied with this purchase and I can't highly recommend it enough.

This controller does it all and does it well! Wireless, rechargeable, motion control, Amiibo compatible, HD rumble, charging cable….i now have three of these and they all perform flawlessly. The buttons and joysticks have a good solid feel!

This is an amazing controller for those who will play the Switch constantly, it is a comfortable controller and the quality feels amazing. I've used it to play Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and will in the future with future Switch releases such as Mario Kart 8: Deluxe and Splatoon 2. The overall battery life is amazing too, with it lasting longer than the Joy Cons.

I refuse to use a switch lite because using this remote has made docked mode so fitting. The Joy Cons are nothing compared to this remote. I don't even bother using my GameCube remotes for smash anymore, that's how amazing this remote is. ESPECIALLY for Monster Hunter Rise.

This controller is practically the most comfortable controller compared to other favorites like the Xbox controller... The buttons are big and the level of comfort is top notch. It's only con is that it lacks a headphone jack for audio... Which is not always for chat, but for the convenience. Overall my new favorite controller

If you are going to use your Switch as a console game, in addition to a portable gaming machine, you will want this controller. The controllers that come with the switch are great for when you're mobile, but if you want to do some serious Mario Kart driving, you will want the full-size controller. It works great and holds a charge for a long time.

Best controller ever from the design, to the grip and feel. Your always in control with the Nintendo switch pro controller. And with the Nintendo switch stand you can play it in hand held mode while the joy ones are connected. You can use the pro controller while the system is in hand held mode. Top notch system baby.

This saves highly on finger cramps. These full size controllers are a must in my opinion. Also, they make it much easier to win at mario kart! Overall worth the price for the real branded controller.
