one add on that is definitely needed for the switch

The battery life is great compared with Sony's DS4.

Bought this for my niece for Christmas. The controller works well because it can be used away from the Xbox without having to be connected to it.

Build quality is excellent. Battery life is amazing

The controller feels like a combination of the GameCube's layout with the shape of the WiiU pro controller great for long play sessions and charges by USB-c. Would recommend for games such as Splatoon2, Street Fighter 2: The Final Challengers, and of course the Legend Of Zelda Breath of the Wild when the system is docked.

This is a must for any serious gamer on the switch. It feels sturdy, has great response times, and seems to be a great controller overall. It will take some getting used to coming from Xbox controllers (the A, B, X, Y buttons are swapped) but it’s a small learning curve. Great that it’s also compatiable with PC.

This is a must have if you are playing with a television since the original joycons are not as comfortable to hold when playing for a long time.

I love this thing. Feels much better to use to play my games then the weird controller thing the Switch comes with. Will probably ending up buy another at some point.

This is hands down the best controller ever made!!

Controller works great and is a nice add on for the Nintendo Switch. Helps when playing Doom. Knocked a star off because it is unreasonably priced (though I paid it :^S )

I've been happy with this controller. It's great for games that require more accuracy than you can get with the Joycons. Feels like a quality controller and the buttons all feel good. The shoulder buttons are maybe a bit squishy, but really not bad at all.

I bought this for my husband, as a gift for his birthday. It's incredibly helpful for multiplayer games as well as ease of use when playing. It's more for preference if you're used to a standard controller, since the switch controller's buttons are in a slightly different position, but the pro controller is standard.

Pro controller definitely improves your gaming experience. I would definitely recommend it for someone who doesn't have small hands for the joy- cons. Black Friday is the best time to buy it usually 20 bicks off msrp.
