An excellent Smash Bros controller for anyone who didn't grow up using GameCube controls. It has a fast response time, and allows you to have immediate control of your character in competitive games and single player ones.

These controllers are pretty pricey but are good. Not as comfortable feel as PS4 or Xbox controllers, but have the longest batter life.

An essential accessory for every switch owner. This is a insane upgrade from using switch joy-cons and makes every game play so much better.

Very ergonomic and responsive. I'm used to the XBOX 1S controller for PC gaming and this has been an easy tradition.

[Employee of bestbuy] Very complete solution for both switch and pc gameplay. Big fan of the gyro controls which enable aiming not possible on a joystick. Unfortunately the D-Pad is pretty subpar and isn't great for playing old 2d side scrollers

Best controller for the switch you can buy. If your going to spend the money on joycons you really should get the pro controller

This controller is very good, I purchased one to be able to play single player games, but I think it's too expensive, that's why I'm giving 4 stars

A pricey controller, but ultimately worth it. Really makes the Nintendo Switch feel like a real console..not just a handheld. I would buy again in a heartbeat.

I was very skeptical buying this, since it is pricey and I already owned a Joy Con. But now that I've used this for a while, it was money well spent! The Joy Con buttons were a tad small, so having larger buttons on this controller made playing games that much easier to use.

If you’ve been playing other platforms and don’t feel comfortable with the detachable controller this will get you back to playing like your old self. Has the Xbox width feel to the controller with old school Nintendo controller vibes. Clutch for 2player games

This is a really good substitue for the joy con as the original controller is little bit weird for the console gamer from PS4 or XBOX. Its capatibility with switch is better than any other type of controller i've ever used. Generally excellent!

Very good controller with long battery life. Much more ergonomic than joycons

I use this controller to play the majority of my games and I have yet to run into any issues. A bit pricey though.

The controller is quite expensive but it’s worth every penny as the joycons on the Nintendo switch are pretty bad.

A must have for any switch owner. I have not compared to third party controller, but this controller is much better than the joycons. The rumble is also quite good.

Long lasting controller for any 3D games on the switch. Not really good for 2D platformers like Mario though.

The pro controller for the switch is easily the best way to play games like mario and zelda but it does not justify its inflated proce point.

So, this Pro controller isn't really the best controller of it's type (Xbox One/Xbox One Elite takes that cake) but it's the best controller for the Wii for most games with standard control styles/types. I like it best for Mario Kart, Splatoon 2, and Zelda. It's far better than the loose sticks on the joycons that also have small buttons that hurt man sized fingers when pressed too often. Must buy for serious Switch gamers that play on TV (portable only gamers probably will want to stick with the joycons so they can play closer to the screen).
