If you want the best controller that will last the longest, stop wasting time and just get the OG pro controller. I've purchased so many different ones from third parties; they've all died within a year or had drift of some sort. Yeah, they were colorful, or had cool LEDs, but they're not as well made. I bought this again after realizing that my original Pro controller, which I purchased about 4 years ago, was still working flawlessly. It's still going strong and I expect no less from it's new companion.

If I have one criticism of the Switch, it's that those little joy cons are not super comfortable to use for extended periods of time. Even with the provided dock that they slot in to in order to simulate a full sized controller, they are just too small to use for protracted play sessions. After a while with them, my hands get kind of stiff, and I guess if I wanted to be a responsible adult, I would take that as a sign that maybe I should take a break and go do something else. But, a different part of being an adult is the right to willfully ignore those signs and continue on doing stupid things. Fortunately, the Switch Pro Controller enables me to do just that and to play for hours and hours on end in phalangeal comfort.

The joy cons that come with the switch are great for daily/travel play, but I can say that this controller is a big QOL improvement over the joy cons. Very happy with this controller.

This is a must have controller. If you want more of the original experience with a more comfortable grip gaming long periods of time get the pro controller. Charges quickly, hefty price but quality is very good.

Recently bought a Switch and quickly noticed that my hands didn't feel comfortable with the joy cons. I've read stories of the joy-con drifts and seeing how expensive the replacements are, I needed something else. The many positive reviews sucked me into buying this accessory. Short story, it was worth every penny. The battery life on this controller is amazing! The controls are smooth and ergonomic. Could play for hours non-stop with no strain and still be wondering when would I need to charge this?

A month in and so far, so good. A slightly shallower profile than our PowerA controller, it’s easier for my kids, who are under 10, to hold in their smaller hands. But it’s also more comfortable for the adults as well, and it has the multi-level rumble feature which is valuable for some games, so it’s the preferred controller of our household. It’s pricier than other controllers but it seems to be the best per the reviews I read, and so far, I’m in agreement. I’d consider buying another, although I’d still look for a sale just to knock off a few bucks off the price tag.

Liked the joycon but the pro feels better in the hands and battery last longer. My joycons developed a drift issue with the joysticks, so far no issues with the pros

Amazing controller. Unlike many of the other brands of controllers such as PowerA, this controller feels like what you pay for. It is made with a durable plastic and has some weight behind it for comfort. I’ve tried some of the other controllers (namely the PowerA controllers) but they just feel cheap and flimsy despite costing $55. The analog sticks are made of a nice rubber and are enjoyable to hold. This controller reminds me of an Xbox on controller- so if you like those, you’ll like this!

This may be the most comfortable controller I've ever held. I'd heard that, and didn't see what the big deal was just from looking at it, but then I held it and was sold. Definitely a noticeable upgrade over the joy-cons + grip but also just too dang expensive. I've seen the price breakdowns of all the tech that's inside and it is a fair price based on that, but paying $70 for a controller is still hard to swallow.

Awsome controller. By far the nices for the Nintendo. U cant neat this controller quality and overall performance is the best. Dont cheap out cause these will be the last controller u should need if not 2 od them like did. So much easier to use then the OE controller

Bottom line: you need this controller. This is the only controller i use to play in TV mode. Excellent battery life, great feel, and it really enhanced my experiences with Mario Kart, Tetris, and Zelda. Get one!

This controller has a nice weight to it and the buttons all have great feedback. Its wireless which is super convenient when im on the other side of the room.

The standard controllers that come with the switch are good for travel but are much smaller and to me are not as comfortable for home play. I like these larger full controllers much better. Very Durable!

Extremely comfortable to use! Connects quickly via Bluetooth to the Switch and maintains a good connection. Long battery life and feels pretty durable!

You can’t beat the longevity you get from this controller on a single full charge—hours of play and one of the best controllers on the market.

Best thing you can buy for the switch. This pro controller fills good in your hands and it's better the using the joy cons. If your going to play with your switch for hours I will recommend the pro controller.

The controller feels & looks great!! Pairs easily to the Switch & has great battery life. I have not experienced any lag or other issues so far. Even though the price is a little steep, I do recommend buying one.

I have to admit I haven't really used the joycons.. Except for SniperClips.. Mainly because this thing feels right.. A must for those with larger hands and find the joycons a bit small.. Great battery life..
