was not able to use, system was defective from out of box

The worst experience I’ve ever had at Best Buy. I bought an open box item and they send me a counterfeit item. Customer service was horrible and not helpful at all. Waste of time and money on this item.

The left thumbstick drifted. I exchanged it for a replacement, but the second one had the same issue. Recalibration didn't fix it either. Inevitably returned.

Thought it came with a dead battery out of the box, after charging it overnight it turns out its just DOA. A $70 controller won't even work while plugged in. Absolute garbage.

It breaks fast, controller randomly move around and input commands to the console, even when they're not being physically moved.

doesn't connect to my pc on a wired connection or wireless. nintendo is such garbage trash, classic.

my controller started not working properly after two days of playing. the left joystick is drifting (I had to research that word).

I had to return my control. Was supposed to be new open box, but was showing wear and tear on joy sticks and had the underside of case shattered.

Had drift in left joystick right out of the box. Immediate return.

ive only used it for a few weeks and it is already malfunctioning by "Drifting"

Didnt work. I will return it once this pandemic has settled. Bad luck? This does not discount the store as these are things happen.

Garbage loses connection frequently, during game play is very annoying.

I love this controller, I have had it for about 2 years, this is by far the best controller Nintendo has ever made. I love how large the buttons are on the controller and make playing Mario Odyssey with this awesome! The battery life is very good also and it has decent grip.

Analog stick started drifting after 1 month. I expected better from nintendo

The one drawback is the price. There is no reason this controller should retail for $70. That being said, It's very well designed. All buttons are responsive. Joysticks are very precise. Battery life is fairly long (at least long enough to only need charging every few days). D-pad is one of the few on the market that feels correct. No idea why nobody does D-pads like this anymore, because the style that xbox 360 popularized is completely unusable. I like that the charging port is USB-C. I like that the included cable is heavy-duty compared to any other charging cable for any device I own. I like the ability to use Amiibo from the controller, though I do not plan on buying any other than two which were gifted to me. If this controller were priced closer to $40 it would be perfect.

I would give this five stars, but I didn’t even get it and had to cancel.

The pro controller is one of the better controllers I've ever used, and definitely head and shoulders above the joy cons. The pro is much more ergonomic (comfortable) than the joy cons, which are a necessity of the Switch's dual playing modes, but are tiny, not-ergonomic, and on their own cramp my hands horribly after a moderate amount of game-play. None of that with the Pro controller as it's more of a return to traditional controller styles, plus its made out of durable plastic materials, comes with a dependable battery that recharges easily with the supplied cable, and connects easily and stays connected. My only gripe is the price. Controller technology really hasn't changed much in recent years, yet the price continues to grow unrealistically. That being said, this is a good investment, especially if you can grab it on sale.
