Really like the feel. Could get away with the Joy-Cons but much better for single player games like BotW. It is light. Overall very satisfied with the purchase and quality. Glad it has built in amiibo support and the HD rumble.

Pros: probably Nintendo's most comfortable, most ergonomic controller yet (to hold, anyway -- more on this later.) Very good battery life at an estimated 40 hours between charges. Features HD Rumble, gyroscopic functionality, an infrared camera for supported titles, and an NFC reader for amiibo. Includes a USB type C cable for charging that can also be used to charge the Switch. Cons: price is on the high side. Lacks a headphone port, which would've been much appreciated. The D-pad is clunky and uncomfortable to use, and frequently makes erroneous inputs due to its design, rendering it unreliable at best. Analog sticks feel great, but tend to rebound just past center due to the minuscule dead zone (e.g. charging an attack in one direction in "Binding of Isaac" and letting go of the stick to fire will often result in firing the opposite direction.) Face buttons feel fine in use, but are pretty plain and unattractive on what is otherwise a slick-looking controller. I really want to like this controller, because as I said, it's easily one of the best Nintendo has ever made. There are just those two major control flaws (unreliable D-pad and analog stick dead zone woes) that make me regret spending so much money on it.

I tried the regular control but wasn't too comfortable so I bought this one, and my experience was the best! The grip and comfort is superb! If you are playing while docked this is the controller to go.

Best controller of the current generation for consoles. It is comfortable and durable. The battery life is amazing.

I'm actually amazed! I have played many games in my past (more Nintendo than anything else), and this controller is amazing! I cannot describe the feeling of holing it, or what it's like! I currently have most gaming controllers (Xbox One, PS4, Wii U Pro, JoyCons, etc.) and I am totally into this Switch Pro Controller! It's been the best out of the PS4, and Xbox One! The analog sticks feel smooth, buttons feel just right, and the shape of the controller is very unique and surprisingly comfortable! I'm never goin' back to the other controllers. Lol, don't just take my opinion! Go out there, and go buy yourself one! ^^ - Oh, and gratefully; I can use the Switch Pro on meh PC, finally!

As many have said, the only downside to this controller is the price tag. While $70.00 is a lot the new PS4 Dueshock 4 controllers are $65.00, and Xbox has controllers anywhere from $60.00 - $150.00 depending on your preference so it is a lot to spend but not too far off from others. The great things about this controller is its weight, which is sturdy but not heavy (you can play hours upon hours and not really notice it but its sturdy enough to feel safe if it takes a little beating), as well as the ergonomics. Everything about the controller itself is top notch. If you like a traditional controller this is the way to go for the Switch (although the Joy-Con are not bad either).

Lots of technology, a very good D-Pad, and unparalleled battery life. It feels great in the hands; while the JoyCons work better than expected, I use the Pro Controller every chance I get.

I am all about the Nintendo Switch, however, there is one issue that I feel needs to be addressed and that is no way you will be able to play Ultra Street Fighter II or any fighting game requiring precision gameplay with a JoyCon Controller. Thankfully Nintendo decided to make a pro controller which I feel is the way you will want to play The Legend of Zelda Breath of The Wild and other games as it has that standard feel to it. The controller wont win any beauty awards but it feels very very nice in the hands and all the buttons feel very very solid. This is a certified go and it gets the Kasanova Seal of approval meaning you need to go out and buy this right now!

i have EVERY major system, and this is now my new favorite! this controller is using the best design, set up is too easy, battery last over 40 hours? yea right more like 60+! gyro, hd rumble, and amiibo support is all built in! this is litterally the most perfect controller ive touched, it has only 1 flaw...ONE... and thats digital triggers and not analog, THATS IT! and it works for pc too! i LOVE its big analog sticks, big face buttons, and its AMAZING Dpad!!! if you have Zelda or skylanders then this is a must! this is how "i" would rate all current controllers wiiu game pad- 8.5 wiiu pro controllers- 8 ps4- 7 xbox one- 9 switch pro controller- 9.5

This controller is everything I could ask for. Very comfortable, sturdy build quality and 10x more battery life than a DS4 controller gets. More than pleased with my purchase.

Had this for a year or a bit more, and it is so much better than the joycons it's not even funny. It feels all around so much better, the battery life is better, the buttons, everything is great. Best part is that it does not click as noisily as the trigger buttons on the joycons and it does not run the risk of "joycon drift". If you play docked, it is the perfect control and worth the money. I got it on a sale, but even at full price, i would have picked it up if i knew it was such a game changer.

The controller is not a bad controller by any means. It actually is on par with the Xbox One controller and PS4 controller in build quality, but not in the triggers and buttons. It doesn’t feel as sturdy and responsive as the aforementioned controllers, but not by much just when using them right after one another. The lack of paddles is the main reason I wouldn’t use this or the standard controllers on any console since once you go paddles or at least 2 under buttons you can’t go back. The battery is great and the HD rumble has had years to deliver and it has done much less of an impact than the PS5 in its first 6 months. I still respect Nintendo for improving it since it had been lacking at the time. For the Nintendo Switch you can’t go wrong buying this controller.

The nintendo switch pro controller is one of the highest quality controllers you can buy right now for a switch or pc, and the battery life is incredible, you can go around a month without charging it.

This controller has a long battery life and feels great to hold.

This controller is way more comfortable than the Joy Con and insert that comes with the Switch. I wish it wasn't so pricey but it was worth it for the comfort.

It is great! I bought it for my husband for Christmas so he could play with me in comfort (and stop complaining about me having a cooler controller). I hear no more complaints from him and he will now play more than one level with me on my games. Yay!

This control is fantastic, it feels like a combination of Xbox One and PS4 controller. Rumble feature is great and the battery life is amazing!
