This was a gift for my son. He loved it! It was easy to sync to his Switch and he was able to play more complex games. It was a a little on the pricey side, but hopefully it stands up to the test.

I enjoy the Joycons on the switch, but it is nice to have a proper controller. I bought this alongside Pokken Tournament DX specifically for a better experience while using the Switch in Docked Mode. Same layout as the Xbox One controller with a slight difference in texture and a different feel when hitting the buttons. I find that it works great most of the time and am grateful for the Type-C charging port. The only issues I have, and this carries over into the Joycons as well, is that sometimes my I put will be dropped if I move *just* too far or don't have a pretty direct line of sight with the Switch. I have also found a bit of stick-drift in the left stick. But overall I think it does it's job very well and is a more comfortable alternative to the standard Joycons that come with the system.

This controller is a little pricey but definitely very awesome. It feels really smooth and I am glad I purchased it.

Bought this after completing Legend of Zelda: BoTW. After running a new game in master mode, the difference in the feel of the game using the Pro controller felt amazing. My hands didn’t cramp up or it wasn’t so frustrating taking out those Lyonels. It is a great accessory to have with your Nintendo Switch. Get it if you can!

I have tried third party pro controllers for the switch because they were cheaper but after buying this I can honestly say it is very much worth the extra money if you’re debating buying it. Feels well made and sturdy.

Honestly changes the entire nintendo switch experience. If you’re a huge gamer and want to see the switch as a serious living room console, this is the way to go. The controls are extremely smooth and the build quality feels like i can drop it a hundred times and it would still work the way I bought it. Very happy with my purchase!

What's the #1 thing you look for when buying a controller? The fact that it works, but after that you need built quality of which this Nintendo Pro Controller has enough to spare. Unlike my XboxOneS controller that I use, this Pro Controller has ZERO flex or creak when you try to twist it in your hands. It feels great and everything just works... It may be expensive, but you can rest assured that your money when towards some great motion sensors and built quality.

I prefer a controller to the joy con adapter/controller. The + & - buttons are easier to access on this controller, in my opinion, AND you use these buttons a lot it Breath of the Wild. That being said, I will point out that the controller is comfortable & has worked very well with my system and has held a charge for quite some time. Now, the negative: the button configuration is the exact opposite of the Xbox controller. Nintendo may have a reason for doing this, but it is extremely annoying for someone who plays both systems. You may want to consider this before purchasing because I play Zelda a lot & when I go back to my Xbox I find myself hitting the wrong button all the time. For this reason, I give the controller a mediocre rating...that & the expensive price tag.

This is a must needed controller when playing on the Nintendo Switch. It took Nintendo to finally design a playable controller for platform and action games. The Joy Cons are terrible to play with, and having this Pro Controller is needed so your hands don't hurt when playing. The analog sticks on this controller is 100% better than the Joy Cons. You should buy this controller when you buy a Nintendo Switch.

This is the best controller on the market. It is a bit pricey but worth it.

Worth getting as a better alternative to using the joycons. Great battery life overall too. I recommend getting one if you play with your switched docked in order to prolong the life of your joycons and not risk joycon drift happening on you from using them for too long. Its also cheaper than getting 2 joycons, even when its not on sale.
