I bought this controller as a replacement for the flimsy joy cons that stopped working. My goodness, the difference is night and day. This is a true gaming controller with way better buttons, grip, and reaction to what you are playing. Of course, the joy con has the benefit of having 2 controllers in 1, but if you are a true gamer, and enjoy the quality of playing games, you need the pro controller for your Switch.

Don’t waste money on batteries! Over the life of a controller it’s worth paying a little more for this wireless rechargeable controller that doesn’t require changing out dead batteries! Great familiar feel, easy to transition to.

i had my switch for about 3 years now, and my joycons started drifting about a year in. it made playing games nearly unbearable at some points. there are some things you can do to ease the drifting, but my joycons went back to drifting not too long after. i got fed up recently and just invested in a pro controller. pricy, but it made playing games on my switch so much better now

While its rather pricey when compared to other controllers for the PS4 or the xbox, it is nice to have a more comfortable and traditional controller for the switch that you can plug and play rather than constantly connect reconnect for the joy cons.

After playing several different games on my switch I am soooo glad I bought one of these controllers!! Though the joy-cons are nice and work great for some games, I have gotten so used to a "normal" style controller that this pro controller was a must (definitely for Mario Kart and for Smash)! I would highly recommend it to those who may be struggling a little bit with the Joy-cons and are used to either an Xbox or PS controller.

The battery life on the controller is a huge upgrade from the other entry level brands and it integrates much better with the pair and sync features compared to other brands. Also the build quality feels more premium.

My kid and I love this so much that the regular console that comes with the Nintendo has been relegated to emergency use now. The built quality is sturdy and the size and shape are impeccably smooth to operate and handle.

At first $70 may seem pricey, but there's plenty of value here. All of the necessary features of the Joy-con are present; HD Rumble, an NFC reader, and gyro controls. But the Pro Controller also boasts a battery life that can't be matched, clocking in at 40 hours. Its also the perfect controller build. It's thick but not too bulky, the face buttons are nice and big and along with the shoulder buttons and triggers, have a really soft click to them that feel just right.

Excellent Paddle with built in rechargeable battery. The battery life lasts much longer than the standard joy con controllers. Now with iOS ver 16 supporting Nintendo paddles its a better reason to pic this up, however not all the games support it, but Minecraft does work.
