These controllers are just necessary if you plan to play this dock mode. Wish they were cheaper but they are excellent quality nothing else touches it.

Definitely a must have for playing any game on the switch. prevents cramps and is very ergonomic. Smooth feedback and long lasting battery life.

I can't stand how expensive controllers are, but if I'm being honest, if you have a Switch and play on the TV, you need to grab this controller. It's on sale pretty often so if you can save a few bucks when getting it, definitely do, but even at full price it IS worth it, and it is a very comfortable controller.

Love it. I like this controller. I can use it on my switch, or use it on my pc. Works great! Charge holds a long time. Def recommend.

This controller is way better than the regular Switch controller.

I bought this pro controller as an open box item from Best Buy. It works flawlessly. I have some problems if I use the JoyCons from further and 10 feet. I called Nintendo and they said that they are designed to be used in very close proximity to the switch. I didn't like that answer. The pro controller doesn't have any of these issues. Plus it fits my hands better.

A good controller that feels better than the joy cons, but is on the more pricey side. Would recommend if you have the money to buy it.

Awesome controller for the switch. Its funny w as innovative and "crazy" most Nintendo controllers are the pro controller is awesome and has a "typical controller" design. Battery life is absurdly long. Don't play docked without this. Player 2 gets the bootleg wired power A controller lololol

My kids got a Nintendo switch for Christmas. We got a few of these controllers because my kids are used to Xbox and I'm so glad we did! My kids love them. As a occasional parent player, I definitely prefer these over the joystick paddles that come on/off the Switch. It is also helpful to have a few to all play together. Overall, happy with them.

I really like this controller. The battery lasts longer than the Xbox One controllers and PS4 controllers combined. I also live the fell and quality. It makes playing games on the switch more enjoyable and comfortable for me. Has a good motion sensor inside too. Nintendo does charge a pretty penny for their controllers though.

Definite upgrade over the standard joycons with great battery life

Great battery life. Use this for both my switch and PC. Feels really nice and my go to controller. That said the dpad is only okay and could have been better.

Physically this controller is great. It's comfortable to hold, feels sturdy and durable and has really great battery life. At full MSRP tho, it is hard to justify. Wait for a sale and then buy with confidence

Compared to the tiny joycons, this wireless controller is a huge step up. It's great for big people with larger hands and reduced the amount of hand cramps the leisurely gamer will often experience while gaming for more than 30 minutes. I have purchased two of these controllers now, and we use them every time we play Mario Kart 8 10/10 will buy again

It's a bit expensive, but this controller is a must for any Switch owner playing on the big screen. It is so comfortable to hold in hand, has a very long lasting battery, and the buttons are very tactile. Such a high quality controller. I wish it was able to natively pair to my computer for PC gaming, but oh well.

I was a little put off by the extra cost of this controller, but luckily it was worth it. It contains all of the same features as the Switch's Joy Cons, but in a conventional layout. It's comfortable to hold and the buttons, sticks, and D-pad all feel great. The rumble and motion controls work well, and the battery life is stellar. It's become my new favorite controller.
