Joy cons broke, replacement joy cons broke, wired Nintendo controller broke, third party wireless controllers broke, so far these have held up well and I haven’t heard a single complaint but you can bet your bottom dollar that from now on all switch accessories will be purchased at BB with the warranty.

I wasn't a huge fan of the Wii U version of this bad boy, but it appears they took a lot of feedback into consideration and this one is far better. It conforms to your hands and feels comfortable, doesn't require double jointed thumbs to use or contortionist skills, and enhances the gaming experience. Glad I took the chance in it.

I decided to purchase this OEM product from Nintendo based on quality, guarantees, and precision of this controller when playing my Switch games. For FPS and action adventure games, there are no substitutes for this controller.

OK, i would controller is good, built wise is good, but the price though, should had been like $60 at least. But if you don’t like playing the switch with the joy cons cause it’s small like I don’t, better get this controller’s.

After using the JoyCons on the switch for the longest time, I finally decided to buy the pro controller and let me tell you, WOW what a difference! The buttons are a little bigger and spaced better than on the JoyCons so that is more comfortable to play games.

It's Nintendo quality, so you know what you're getting. I know people knock the joycons but the standard controller is solid.

I purchase this for my sons 10th birthday. I first purchased a Knick off on amazon and had to send it back because it was complete garbage. I learned my lesson don’t be cheap and get the real deal. He says it has great battery life and makes gaming way better. I would purchase again.

Upon reading reviews and advice from other Switch owners, I helped my college daughter pick up on one of these Pro Wireless Controllers. Based on feedback from her, this was definitely the right purchase... especially when saving a few bucks during a sale.

This controller is very comfortable and I love that it is rechargeable. I hate controllers that require AA batteries because they die so quickly! This one dies and you can just plug it in immediately.

Another overpriced Nintendo product, even though it is a great controller for the switch, it isn't worth the price Nintendo is asking for. Bittersweet review, but it had to be said.

Look, I love the switch, I love the idea of the controllers and how they work in tandem. I HATE how small they are, how I feel like I will break them and how they tire my hand. This controller gets rid of all of that, it is perfect, I love it and I have already told multiple people about it!

Why do they hate me? This pro controller gives you a huge advantage over people using the regular small controllers. It allows me to win more games than my friends. It feels good in ,your hands and is good quality. I highly recommend getting one to crush your opponents.

Sometimes, joycons just don’t cut it when playing competitive games such as Splatoon 2 or Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Definitely pick this up over other third party controller for the switch because in the long run, you’ll feel more inclined to use this comfortable, tactile Pro Controller over the included joycons.

The Nintendo switch pro style controller is a must have. We have 3 or these now and everyone in my family prefers to game on this controller. Its a comfortable controller. I holds charge for 30+ hours of game play. I have two of these that I picked up when the Switch launched. They are starting to register false positive movement on the joy stick but are probably 90 reliable still. We game a lot so I consider this to be ok for the amount of wear we put on them.

One of the most comfortable controllers I've ever held, and the buttons feel good to press. It connects to the Switch via Bluetooth and is even able to sync to my windows 10 laptop. Very nice controller, however there are a few things I don't like about it. It lacks analog triggers, something that has become important in games, especially driving games. Also the buttons and analog sticks are very loud. Love the clearish black color, something Nintendo did a lot back in the 90s. Wish the controller had more color varients.

Overall great controller but a deeply flawed D-pad

Having been a big fan of the Wii U Pro controller and also worried about the ergonomics of the Switch's included Joy-Con controllers, buying the Switch Pro controller was a must for me. I was pleased to find that it was even more ergonomic and comfortable than the Wii U Pro controller, especially the shape and materials used for the portion that is cradled in the palms of your hand. The analog sticks and trigger buttons both feel great, although the lack of analog triggers is missed. Battery life is excellent, rated at 40 hours -- half that of the Wii U Pro controller, which did not have to devote battery life to new features such as force feedback (HD Rumble,) an NFC reader, and a gyroscope. I only need to recharge it once a week, if that, and that's definitely acceptable. I do have a few qualms with the Switch Pro controller, one of which is a serious design flaw that really hampers my enjoyment of the product. The negligible problem is with the face buttons -- they're just kind of "there;" ugly, boring buttons with sharp edges that stick out a millimeter or two more than they need to. It'd be nice if the edges were flush with the controller when pressed. The serious design flaw is with the D-pad (directional pad.) I frequently get erroneous inputs from it due to its design, despite being on my third refurbished controller from Nintendo. The D-pad is able to be easily rocked up and down via the left and right directions, meaning I get plenty of unintended "up" inputs while pushing left or right. This ranges from inconvenient (choosing runes in Zelda, aiming in Metal Slug, using magic in Shovel Knight) to game-breaking (unintended hard drops in Puyo Puyo Tetris.) It baffles me that Nintendo, the inventor and patent holder of the D-pad, managed to get it so wrong on this controller. It's frustrating to have to avoid using this expensive controller in any game that benefits from using the D-pad over the analog stick. I can't help but laugh that the D-pad was one of the major selling points for me, yet the face-buttons-imitating-D-pad Joy-Con implementation works so much better. If having a D-pad is your top reason for purchasing, be wary. Other than that, it's a pretty solid controller.
