Overall, this is one of the best controllers I've had. The battery life is huge, it feels good to hold, and the texture is wonderful. However, I've got two gripes with it: 1. The triggers aren't analog. It's 2017. The gamecube had these, for crying out loud. Where'd they go? 2. The dpad has issues. It's easy for the controller to mistake a left or right input for an up one. This is an issue that should have been fixed in QA. To be honest, the joycon grip is fine for what it is. Unless you feel the grip is cramped, which I can see it happening for some people, you don't really need it. If you're on the edge of buying this and don't have a switch yet, get the switch and see how the grip feels. If it's sub-par, the pro controller is a good buy.

After 4 years, my controller started getting drift. not bad for a controller that I've been using for about 4 years. I had to buy another one because I know it'll last long. It feels better than the joycons. If you own a nintendo switch, it's a must have.

My son loves this product. He says the grip and the joysticks feel great and he loves the design. When he charged it he said it was quick and that the battery charge lasted for a long time. 2 months of usage and it feels like brand new. From the grip to the battery charge, this really is a great product. I definetely recommend this. The right price for this controller should be $35-$40

This controller is sized well for adult hands. It’s comfortable to hold and use, and the buttons and sticks feel good to use—very responsive. Solid construction. Happy with the purchase overall, however I wish the price were a bit more competitive.

It's a great bit of kit, so much better than any of the other 3rd party controllers I have used. Battery life is good, it's held up to a beating so far. Great ergonomics for medium sized man-hands. As with most official Nintendo hardware, it's overpriced by about 20%

From the feel and comfort of this controller to the amazing battery life, this controller simply the best gaming controller I've ever had! It has a nice weight to it and feels every bit go the high price you have to pay to obtain it. Yes that price is pretty steep but it gives you so much play time on a single charge! 45-55 hours! Really glad I picked this one up!

This controller is the most comfortable gaming controller I've ever held. Far more comfortable than the things that come in the switch box. Battery lasts a respectable long time. The price is a bit much. But it is worth it if you play a long time in one session. Especially for a game like Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

When I started experiencing the dreaded drift I bought a third party controller. We eventually upgraded to the Pro Controller and it's so much more comfortable to use then the drifting Joy Cons (my wrists especially feel better) and a smoother experience then the third party controllers.

I pre-ordered this Switch Pro controller because of reviews of the Zelda game, saying this was the best controller to play that title. I have to agree! While the joy-cons work great with the Switch in handheld mode, I didn't care for the way the joy-cons feel in the included grip, so I could play Zelda on my TV. As far as I can tell, the Pro controller has most (if not all) of the same features as the joy-cons, including gyroscope, NFC reader for Amiibo, etc. Pro controller is listed to have 40 hours of play before needing to be recharged. I'm not sure how that compares to joy-cons, but I know it is more time. Pro controller automatically synced to my Switch the moment I plugged in the USB-C cord (included with the controller) to the Switch dock and then to my controller. I've lost no wireless connections between the pro controller and the Switch at all when playing Zelda. I highly recommend this accessory. It is pricey, but not a waste of money!

The Pro controller is the only controller I use for my Switch. It has an exceptionally long battery life, and I’ve never encountered any issues with stick drift.

Got this for playing the Switch in docked mode since the joycons kind of bother my wrists. The Pro controller is super comfortable, like a slightly smaller XBox One pad. The battery life is excellent, I was able to go 2 weeks before having to plug it in. It also includes rumble, motion sensors, and an amiibo reader. Expensive, but worth it in the end.

The included Switch controllers are nice but They are somewhat small and thin. if you are used to Xbox or Playstation controllers then this Pro controller is for you. I prefer this Pro controller for the size, feel, and quality. It also connects quickly and responds perfectly during gameplay. Game on...

It feels comfortable to hold. The charge lasts a long time. I have large hands so this feels better than the small controllers that come with the system. I think it will last longer than the original controllers will also. And it costs less than the original controllers.

Wow this controller feels solid not cheap, makes playing games easy..it pairs up fast with switch,and batteries last a very long time..the buttons are so soft and smooth,the d pad is smooth,all tge buttons feel easy to press.this controller beats all wired controller hands down..it rechargeable that last hours .love this so much.

It's a real shame that Nintendo doesn't include this controller in the box, it's fantastic. Aside from its great battery life and comfortable design, the only negative thing about this controller is the price. Try and wait for a sale to snag one. It makes playing games on the switch a much more console-like and enjoyable experience.

Very nice!! A well made controller that you do not want to put down. The size/feel is so much better than the joy-con or dual joy-con setup, and so far it does not slip out of my kids hands like with other controllers... I can't wait to blow his mind with the amiibo support.

I don't consider myself an expert on wireless controller but this one is everything I need. The grip is comfortable, the battery life lasts a LONG time, and the darn thing works. I can't tell you how many controllers I've had that got maybe 3 or 4 uses and something went wrong. this things feels durable and has a nice weight to it.

I know its a little pricey but this is one fine controller for the Switch. Perfect balance, perfect size and weight, perfect stick and button placement and feel and it has a ridiculously long play time of up to 40hrs. Also supports HD rumble, motion and Amiibo scanning........if you want a great traditional dual stick for your Switch...this is it.

I've had my switch for almost two years. Ever since purchasing this controller and using it for my switch I've logged more playtime on the Switch in the past two weeks than I have all year in total. This controller is THE TRUTH. Yes, I know the price is steep believe me. I live very comfortably and make very good money and still I was hesitant on this purchase. It took one of my friends to finally convince me to purchase this controller and sure enough he was right (He only plays PC and Switch). This controller is a game changer. If you can stomach the cost then you will be more than happy with this controller. Literally changes the switch in an awesome way! Plus, now my big hands don't hurt when I'm getting my Switch on for literal hours on end at times. This controller + Pokemon Unite Ranked. GG2EZ WORTH IT!
