Being more of "hardcore" gamer, I find this controller much better suited to my preferences than the Joy-Cons, as clever an idea as those are. It's just more comfortable to hold and it feels better playing anything that requires both analog sticks. I still probably prefer the PlayStation layout of having the sticks arranged symmetrically, but the build quality is very good and it makes playing anything with a more traditional control scheme more enjoyable.

The pro controller is definitely the best option to have for all games and if you play the switch enough, having one of these is a highly recommended.

This controller is a great alternative to the diminutive Joy-Cons that come with the Switch- especially if you play in “docked” mode! Made playing long sessions of Zelda BOTW much more enjoyable! Definitely a worthwhile investment!

Works as advertised. Easy to sync to the Switch and reliable wireless connection. I haven't used it enough to kill the batteries yet so the battery life is decent. Works and feels much better than using the controller cradle for the joycons.

Way better than the old controller systems. Makes it easier to play between consoles as well.

Absolutely love this controller! It makes playing certain games worth it. I got it to play breath of the wild and never looked back. My only criticism is that I believe it’s overpriced.

This is my second pro controller. The first one developed a bit of a drifting joystick issue after about two years. Its comfortable in my hands.

If you are going to spend a significant amount of time playing your Switch on the TV, invest in the Pro Controller. This is a more comfortable controller than the XBOX One or, especially, the PS4 controller. As a bonus, it can also be used as a bluetooth controller with your PC or Mac.

Good controller, no drift on the thumb sticks either which is a major pain on the joycons. Feels good to hold as well.

Overall an excellent controller. Feels substantial when holding it and has excellent haptic feedback. Tiny fraction of latency, so I did also get a wired controller for games that require hair-trigger response times.

This controller is really good, I have been using it always evethought I have some 3rd party brand controllers also. You will never would want to use a 3rd party controller again! It is wireless and has all the functionalities as the joycons.

This controller - made and manufactured by Nintendo, not the 3rd party knock offs - is worth every penny. It’s true that you get what you pay for, and for Switch owners this is a must. Great construction, battery charge life, and features.

I bought the Wii U Pro Controller and wasn't a fan. So I was a little hesitant to buy this one but I knew I needed it. So I gave a shot and I'm very happy I did. This controller is one of the best on the market. It has more tech than the DS4 and One controllers and feels just as good.

Good Pro Controller, works well bought at my nearby best buy store with 10/10 excellent checkout person service. I bought it so I could start playing my switch again since its been 2 years haven't been playing on it.

Well built with a long battery life. I love this controller. I have had no issues with it other than having to adjust how I use it because the ABXY scheme is like an Xbox controller turned 90 degrees counter-clockwise. Totally worth it's price.
