Buy this rather than cheap no brand stuff.

I love this controller. Works wonderfully. I was a little unsure because of the price but it is worth it. I did quite a bit of research and I suggest if you are on the fence of getting this (the real deal, The Name Brand) or getting some off brand, Go This Route. If you buy some cheap no brand stuff from Amazon, high chance you will regret it later. You will probably end up buying another one to the point that it would add up to the price of this one, which will last for a long time unless you deliberately break it. If you are concerned about the price go for an open box or use a trustworthy brand. I also own an Afterglow pro NS controller which works really good. One other thing is that these controllers are a lot nicer and easier to work with (whilst in TV or Tabletop mode) than the Joy-Cons.

This controller has great battery life and is comfortable to use. It is over priced, but so is every other OEM controller out there.

I’ve gotten a number of different controllers for my Nintendo switch and this is by far the best one. Charges easy, feels great to hold, and is lightweight. Would recommend this controller to anyone.

The only choice for Nintendo Switch

If you're one of those players who see a weighty controller as a sign of quality then you'll be very happy with the heft on the Switch Pro Controller for sure. Pleasingly, it also feels really solid - there are no awkward hollow plastic noises when you tap your way around the chassis, and button presses don't produce any awkward loud clicks. I own an Xbox Elite 2 Controller, an Xbox regular controller(released 2-3 yrs ago), a PS5 controller, and this Pro controller. This one has the best weight sensation for me, I'm a 5'2" girl. Yet I still feel this controller is a little bit overpriced (and the PS5 controller is even more overpriced). But you really get no choice when you want to have a controller on your Switch and can't buy anything better at a better price.

If you aren’t using a pro controller for your Nintendo switch you need to. This are really comfortable, battery last for several days of heavy use, and they are sturdy and don’t drift like the joycons.

Best Video Game Controller of This Generation

It is without hyperbole that I personally call this controller the best console controller on the market as of right now. It just feels the most comfortable. Not to mention, through Bluetooth, it works as a PC controller as well. It's a tad pricey, but I am not at all disappointed with the quality.

If you have a Nintendo switch then you need this controller. The handles are textured to provide additional grip for long gaming hours. Extremely comfortable and very long battery life. I purchased mine at launch and charged this only once! If you have big hands like me don't rely on the joy cons.

I love this controller except for one flaw. The controller feels comfortable to hold, is responsive and holds a long battery charge so you get to game for quite a while before having to recharge it. However, like the joy-cons, this controller will eventually start to drift. I've never had this issue with any other Nintendo controllers but I guess something is off with the Switch generation. On my 2nd controller after a few years.

Great controller. Easily Nintendo's best since the GameCube. It's comfortable in my hands, the thumbsticks are nice and tall for a good range of motion with plenty of detail. The buttons are right in that sweet spot of having a short, soft travel with just enough snap at the end to give your presses a satisfying sense of punch. Having the gyro built in means motion aiming in games like Breath of the Wild or Splatoon without having to hold the whole tablet, which is extremely convenient, as is the NFC chip for Amiibo. I don't love the Switch's lack of of analog shoulder buttons, but the pro controller's shoulder buttons are shaped with enough travel to feel somewhat less digital than the Joy-Con's clicky pads. The only real criticism I have of the controller is its lack of a headphone jack. This likely won't be a problem for chat as Nintendo plans to handle lobbies and voice chat through a smartphone companion app, but it would have been nice in the mean time to have a headphone option for couch and TV play.

Feels great in the hand, super comfortable, and ultra long battery life. It's pricey compared to the alternatives but very well worth it (and much better than using the joy-cons in the cradle).

Works great for about 2 years and then usually suffers from stick drift or sticking buttons. Compatible with both switch and PC gaming.

Joy-Cons, I love you, but...no. The Pro controller is so much more comfortable, and the battery consistently lasts me WEEKS without needing a charge. Haven't had a drift issue with the Pro as I did with my joy cons. Highly recommend.

Great Controller, Overpriced (Out of our hands)

The controller has a great feel and is a MUST have for Zelda and Splatoon. The feel is very comfortable even more than the ps4. Compared with the xbox though, it is definitely comparable. I would highly recommend if you could and want to dish out the money. I was very much against it as well until I tried my brother-in-laws. I fell instantly in love but wish Nintendo would lower the price on this... but hey, that what you get for Nintendo... Buy all these extra components that you wished you got with the system and overprice it all. #hardtobeanintendofan

The price was a bit steep but this controller is a must have for sports and racing games. A big improvement from the "controller" that comes with the switch. The battery life is exceptional as well. I really like the feel and texture.

This controller is a high quality addition to your gaming adventure. The controllers charge last for a very long time. It has a good weight to it and is compatible with all games. The rumble and motion features make it great to use with any game.

Very much a premium controller, sadly a premium price too. I have a very hard time using the joycons for any significant amount of time without hand cramps. This thing however is great. My only complaint is the price. I got it on sale around the holidays otherwise I probably would never have gotten one. Glad I got it. Battery life is great & it feels good in the hands. Comfortable to play on for long sessions which cannot be said for the joycons, even with the included grip.

Forget those tiny joycon controllers, THIS is where the action's at! Anyone who owns a Switch should plan on getting this controller sooner rather than later...the analog sticks are much bigger and more responsive, it has a proper d-pad, and at 35 to 40 hours of battery life it usurps even the PS4 and Xbox One standard controllers. It does still have some sync issues with the Switch hardware, but just make sure to connect it with your Switch via the included USB-C cable for the initial use and you should be fine. By the way, the included cord is only 3-ft long...so depending on where you sit you may want to invest in a longer cord for use while charging. The Pro d-pad still leaves something to be desired when used for fighting games, it's still much better than trying to struggle with the joycon buttons or analog stick. It's a bit pricey, but I still recommend it.

    Amazing controller

This controller is amazing. The buttons are larger, the controller isn't too heavy, and no battieries required. In fact, the battery life is so good that I havent even needed to charge it yet and I've had it for 2+ weeks. When I'm not playing the switch in handheld mode, this is my go-to controller. The out of the box joycon controller attachment is too small and strains my hands after a prolonged session. Now that I have one of these in my house, my room mate and I constantly fight over who gets to use the Pro Controller when playing Mario Kart. 10/10 controller. in comparison to the PS4 and Xbox 1 controllers, this is my favorite. The color of the controller is more of a transparent dark grey, which is fine but I expected a jet black color based on pictures I saw. I do wish it came in different colors and I'm sure Nintendo will do that in the future. Would not play the switch on the TV without this, it definitely enhances the experience.
