Probably one of the best controllers of the last decade at least, incredibly comfortable and well-made. Worth the money.

This controller has a fantastic feel to it and the battery lasts seemingly forever. I would highly recommend it if you are buying a Switch as it is significantly better than the Joycons. I do wish it wasn't so pricey as IMO it is overpriced.

Good grip, good amount of gameplay before needing a charge, built in rechargeable battery (bonus compared to Xbox), must have for wireless gaming. No complaints other than how Nintendo and Xbox have different abxy button configurations.

You don't have to own a Pro Controller if you own a Switch, but it's a great controller. You get a good battery life out of it, the weight is just about perfect, and I like the feel of it better than I do the Joy Cons (which seem a bit teeny to me).

The controller feels great and is much more comfortable than the Joy-Con Controllers. The battery life is fantastic and it comes with a USB C cable that is nice to have on the go for charging the Switch. The only thing is that it is a little pricey.

Better than controller that comes with the system. Fits larger hands better. Grip is comfortable. Charge lasts longer than I thought. Overall very happy with these controllers. Bought two of them!

It took me a while to finally buy this controller. It was expensive, hence only 4 stars. It costs more than a PS4 controller, and more than an XBOne controller. Once I got passed the price point and went for it, I haven't looked back. The controller has a crazy battery life. It is comfortable, and won't hurt your hands after gaming on your switch for hours. If you can afford it or find it on sale at a good price, I would definitely recommend buying one.

The in-box Switch joy-con controllers are one thing, but if you have even remotely non-small hands, they typically feel cramped for any extended gaming sessions. That's where the Pro Controller comes in. Extremely comfortable to hold. Ergonomic grip, great button/joy/d-pad placement. Just the right amount of weight to it; substantial but not overtly so. Battery life is also fantastic (1300mAh). It can be used for for hours on end (sorry haven't ever quite measured it) without needing a charge. Conversely, joy-cons require far more frequent sessions. Now, if you've nearly fully drained the thing (I'd recommend not letting it drop past 30-50%) it CAN take several hours. The prod does NOT support fast charging (5V/0.5A .. roughly equivalent to a much older smartphone). However, if you allow a few hours here and there, depending on your usage, you'll really never hit that wall of concern :) Incredibly responsive, buttons, d-pad and joysticks all have a great feel. Great accuracy. Some have complained negatively about the d-pad feel compared to competitors. That hasn't been my experience. Highly recommended for anyone but the most casual gamer on the Switch. It will day-and-night improve your experience and make your sessions far more enjoyable.

This controller is one of the best made controllers all time. Feels so comfortable in your hands and is light. Got it on sale otherwise these controller prices are getting out of hand.

A definite accessory for the Nintendo Switch. If you feel like the Joy Cons are too small or uncomfortable to hold for long periods of time, the Pro Controller is a must. Its extremely comfortable, very light, and keeps charge for a long time.

    Amazing controller with one downside...

I struggled giving this five stars because it does have one pretty glaring flaw, but let me talk about the positives first. The overall feel of this controller is amazing and it comes second to only the XBox One for my favorite controller of all time. Super responsive, comfortable for bigger hands, great batter life (might have the best better life of any controller, ever)...can't ask for much more. Only negative is the rumble is so weak I wondered if I had a defective model. In fact I almost took it back before looking online and seeing that's just how it is. I could also add in the price as a negative, definitely watch for this on sale. Overall though I feel like the positives far outweigh the negatives and I highly recommend it.

best controller to use for someone that can't use small joy cons. i have arthritis in my hands from sports injuries so it's hard for me to play with the small joycons. i still wanted to be able to play with my son. i bought the cheaper controller and didn't like how cheap it was so i had to splurge on this controller. it feels great and it's comfortable ion the hands. the only downside is the price and how it connects automatically most of the time. this is my controller so my son doesn't use it but it shows up when starting a game. the price is 69.99 and i feel it doesn't offer enough to warrant that price point.

Alright, I get that the title is a stretch, but I do mean it when I say: This controller feels amazing to use. Its in the Top 3 of controllers to use, with PS2 & Gamecube for me. If you're not a fan of how the Joy-cons feel in their controller handle dock, since its not angled like a regular controller & the thumbs have to move up & down, then i would highly recommend this to you. I would in general. Its feels nice to hold, the controller has weight to it, which is nice compared to the small Joy-cons (even though they don't feel terrible, just... light). While the D-Pad itself isn't like previous D-Pads & you might find yourself hitting a direction you didn't mean to, it doesn't happen enough to be a big negative. While the price is, I'd say, $10 too high, This is a controller you need to pick up at some point.

It sounded a little steep at $70, but once I got my hands on it to start playing, I quickly realized that it's completely worth it. It's got a great weight and it feels awesome in your hands. Plus the battery life is pretty incredible.

I only have two complaints: 1) the dpad; and 2) the triggers. The dpad is unprecise and it frequently registers the wrong input. The triggers do not depress far enough. Unfortunately they are more clicky than springy, which was a big let down for me. Everything else is great. In terms of comfort, it's similar to the 360's controller. In regards to battery life, there is no comparison. This thing gets like 40 hours on a single charge! It's by far the best way to play the switch.

A Must Buy Accessory for Your Switch

I do love my Switch, and the joycons are neat. But, they are not the sturdiest of controllers nor are they really designed for big hands. I have very big hands. The Pro Controller fixes both of these issues. It is extremely durable and feels very good in my big meathooks. Another added perk is the battery life - this thing is a beast and it lasts forever in between re-charges. I suspect that is because there are no bells-and-whistles on it (such as lights and/or speakers), and the HD rumble has many degrees of power so it's not a constant volcano-eruption every time a rumble prompt occurs. If you like playing with controllers on your other consoles, you will have no trouble getting used to how the Pro Controller feels.
