Works well. Bought this for my kids to use on their Switch 2 and it works great, although there were some quirks in the setup

This controller is a must. It feels great in my hands and adds a level of control that was missing using the default joy con controller. This pairs easily with a Nintendo switch And holds a charge for a good amount of time The rumble is a little funny it’s a very gentle vibration and unlike controllers for other consoles

Picked this up because I was fed up with the drift issues of the joycon controllers and I refuse to purchase anymore of those. I was worried this might feel bulky or heavy but it's quite comfortable and easy to use. Battery life is pretty good too. I wish I would have bought this sooner instead of wasting money on the joycon controllers.

A little pricey at $70 but if you're going to be gaming consistently and you have problems with the original controllers then I think it's worth it. My hands are men's size small and I had problems with the Joy-Cons being too small. This controller is a little larger and much more comfortable. Also the charge lasts for a very long time so I rarely have to worry about it.

A Must Have For Switch Owners

Much better/comfortable than the joy cons. Much like the Wii U pro controller, buy with a nice matte finish, sturdier build, and amazing battery life (three days! Same as the Wii U but still great) Highly recommend. The d-pad is especially much better if you play platformers, retro games, or 8/16/32-bit indie games.

Feels like a Xbox One controller and buttons are layout pretty similar too. Way more comfortable playing with for long periods of time versus the joycons. Battery life is really good too, especially when comparing it to the PS4 controller. I would say it also has the strongest rumble out of any of this generation controllers as well.

Really the best controller option for the Switch. Excellent battery life, comfortable to use, and considerably better than the joycons and stick gamepad.

The only downside is I wish the controller was a little less expensive. I absolutely hate the joycons so I'm really glad they sell actual controllers. I wish they would have sold at least one with the main switch that can be used as a home console beause I never play handheld so this was a must. It feels great and I haven't charged it in 3 days and it still has juice left. Tried playing zelda without it and it felt impossible at least for me. Highly recommend getting this. You may want to look into a wired one if you're planning on always being close to the screen and trying to save a little bit of money.

I picked this up because my wife wasn't a fan of using the Joy-Cons, even with a grip, to play Mario Kart or Mario Odyssey. She's very pleased with this controller, and I found that even though I don't mind the Joy-Cons, I too like this Pro controller. It's got the same nice feel as something like an Xbox One or PS4 controller, and it seems to be well made. Definitely recommended.

Worth the purchase for your switch. This controller is much better than the Power A. It feels great playing all sorts of games with this controller. Battery is also really good (and easy to recharge) compared to the joycons which were driving me crazy how fast the battery on those go.

Feels good in my hands and doesn't feel like a cheap money grab by Nintendo. Battery lasts for what feels like an eternity and has great response time. If you're reading this review and thinking about saving a few dollars by getting the 40 dollar one just ball out and get the pro and you won't regret it.

Great way to enjoy the switch. Looks and feels similar to an Xbox One controller. Excellent for games like Breath of the Wild, Xenoblade Chronicles, and other rpgs. Certainly feels better during long play sessions than the joy-cons. I like this controller so much that I bought one for my fiancé to use with her switch.

This has to be one of the best peripherals nintendo has made available for their third person games. Comes with a rumble, completely wireless plus motion control if youd like BUT the price for this is kinda too steep. Makes it very difficult to buy 2 controllers if you want a friend to play with you and slightly disappointing that it's only offered in black. If you dont have the cash and prefer more of a personal touch then I recommend getting the wireless themed ones (though they mostly dont include rumble) or the wired ones which are also available in a variety of themes. These tend to be much cheaper than this pro controller. Still worth a buy IF on a sale.

I have always loved the GameCube controller. And this switch controller reminds of that great gaming controller. While the joycon’s are a neat experience, the Pro controller takes the cake in comfort and longevity. It last a seriously long time without having to recharge it. And playing Zelda or Mario Kart for hours is a comfortable experience, as opposed to the joycons.

Personally, I think that this controller is way more comfortable than the joycons. Control sticks feel better, the buttons feel better, the + and - buttons are positioned better in my opinion. The batteries last for a long time. Also, this controller can be connected to a pc using a Bluetooth adapter which I think is nice. Overall, I recommend this product.

I absolutely love this controller for the Switch. It feels like an Xbox controller so it is not uncomfortable to switch from system to system and it is durable. My one year old has gotten hold of it many times and there's not even a scratch on it. The only downside is if you are playing certain games you need the small controllers. For Mario Kart, I would recommend this controller!
