A must have for Switch owners!

Since getting my Switch a couple years ago, I off and on looked at the Pro controller. I finally got it and the only thing I regret is not getting it sooner. It did take a little time for me to get used to the buttons because they pressed a little differently than the joycons and the placement for the home and screenshot buttons. It doesn't take long though to get used to and it now feels weird using the joycons in the grip that mimics a controller. It's definitely worth getting this one vs. a third party Pro controller because all the ones I looked at didn't have the vibration in the controller like this one. I thought this feature was good to have as it can be important enough to certain games. I've had minimal connection issues between it and the Switch and for the two times I did, it didn't take long for it to sort itself out. I found the battery life is also wicked good to the point where I can use it for several days before I even have to charge it. I'm completely satisfied with this purchase and I can't highly recommend it enough.

THE controller to have for the Switch

Far superior controller to the JoyCons. The JoyCon is fun for what it is but far too small for my average size hands and their clip on to the screen design far too limits their function. This controller is far more comfortable and versatile plus has a really solid battery life. Be mice if some more color options were more available.

Very solid and comfortable controller, easy to pair and love the noise it makes when i use it or even pick it up; a very comfortable weight in my hands, even for a long time, too

The Pro Wireless Controller for Nintendo Switch is the best investment you can purchase for your Nintendo Switch. Works flawlessly . Much better control and feel than the included Joycons that are included with the Nintendo Switch. Definitely purchase a Pro Wireless Controller for Nintendo Switch. You wont regret it. Just wish the price was more affordable.

Glad I bought this with my Switch. The controller that comes with the system feels a bit clunky, and this controller works fantastically and feels great in my hands. It's a little heavier than I expected, but being wireless requires a battery pack. I get maybe 30-40 hours of gameplay between charging, and can charge it while I use it to play as well.

    Top of Line Controller

This is the definitive way to play the Nintendo switch. It fits perfectly in your hand, is extremely light, and the battery lasts well over a week of play. I have seen complaints about the cost, however a play and charge kit for PS4 or Xbox One can be over 15 dollars and last two days, if that. This controller has a built in battery that well surpasses those.

    Too Expensive

It’s a solid controller, feels well made, and it’s definitely an upgrade from the joy cons, BUT it’s too expensive in my opinion. $70 for this thing is just Nintendo being Nintendo. New Xbox and PS4/5 controllers cost less. If you can find it on sale or for $10 less, (WM) pick it up. PS. It DOES hold a charge incredibly well. I’ve had this thing for about 2 weeks now, have only charged it once, and it’s STILL at 50%.

This controller is a must have for playing with the switch docked, much better than the joy con controller and the battery lasts a long time. The only con is that it’s expensive at $70, if you can get it on sale for $60 or less that’s a more reasonable price.

Comfortable design, great feel and features (amiibo reader, motion control, quality build, and best controller overall. Priced slightly higher, but with good reason on what it can do and it being the best controller feel, over the Xbox & PS4. Loved it so much, that I had to pick up another one.

The build quality is great, as it’s comfortable to hold and the buttons, sticks & triggers are all very responsive. The battery life is amazing at like 40 hours or so. Pairing it with the Switch for the first time seems to be easier if the cord is used, but can do wirelessly as well, and after the first, either way is quick. It also works well with using on a PC/Mac. Only main negatives are a lack of a headphone jack and the Bluetooth sync button could be easier to push in or could’ve been a switch. If you feel the joy cons are uncomfortable or just interested in another controller for co-op/multiplayer games, then the Pro Controller is a great option.

This is one of the best controllers Nintendo has made. The soft textured finish of the grips has a high premium quality feel to it. All the buttons, direction key and analog sticks are well placed and very comfortable to use for long hours of game play. Battery life so far is great! My only concern or negative is that it is a pricey controller.

This really is a must have when it comes to the switch. I was hesitant to buy one when the switch first came out, since it's only $10 off from another set of joycons (which could mean 2 more players for certain multiplayer games)... but I really shouldn't have. The size and feel of this controller is excellent. You'll never want to use the joycons again.

I didn't like the little controllers the swich came with. This thing is awesome. Its perfectly weighted, the controls are precise, and the buttons are excellent. It is a high quality controller, and shows that money does buy better quality.

I've heard grumblings from people saying they aren't big fans of the Joy-Con grip. Personally, I don't have a big problem with it. Yes, the buttons on the Joy-Con contollers are small, but you really have to weigh your options to pay $70 for this accessory. Having said that, this controller deserves a solid rating. It's got a good weight and my hands grip comfortably around it. Why not a 5-star rating? It's a small thing, but the distance of the buttons are longer than the Joy-Cons. Longer than the XBox One and PS4's controller in fact. So for games like Golf Story, you don't have the same feel for getting your shot off perfectly. It's not enough to give it my seal of approval.

I refuse to use a switch lite because using this remote has made docked mode so fitting. The Joy Cons are nothing compared to this remote. I don't even bother using my GameCube remotes for smash anymore, that's how amazing this remote is. ESPECIALLY for Monster Hunter Rise.

I much rather prefer the pro control to the joycons. I like the weight and perceived durability of the controller. That is not to say it isn't durable for I haven't put in through a lot paces.

This controller is amazing. It has about the same weight and feel as an Xbox controller so you can expect a solid product. It makes playing Zelda a more smooth experience since the game relies on quick reaction times and I found that the Pro controller was easier to use for this. I would recommend this to anyone that wants a better playing experience.

I held of purchasing one of these because of the price, but I'm glad I finally did and I'm not looking back. If you've ever used a playstation or xbox controller you'll feel right at home with this. The build quality is really good and the battery life is crazy, I've gone weeks before needing to charge it.
