This is my favorite controller Nintendo has ever made and the best of any console I’ve owned including PlayStation. The D pad is not the best but is adequate.

I love this controller. It holds the charge well and it honestly lasts forever. I personally don't like using the Joy Cons, even with the attachment. The only time I like the Joy Cons are when I am on the go with the Switch unit itself and play it via handheld. Besides that... The PRO controller is the way to go.

Still the best controller to use for the Switch lol no drifting. My other one lasted a good 5.5ish years before wear and tear got to it. Definitely got good mileage out of it

Motion controls like the regular switch controllers, fits comfortably in hand, great battery life. It’s a great controller and will please your picky friend who doesn’t want to use a non-traditional controller in Mario kart or (down the line) smash. I’d recommend for anyone who wants a traditional controller.

I got this controller when i knew I wanted to get Splatoon 2. This controller is a perfect grip for me while playing Splatoon 2 and was easy to handle. I haven't tried it with Mario Kart Deluxe but I know I might love it on this one too. To me this controller feels more at ease with my hands than using the hand grips.

Very comfortable controller with a significantly more premium feel than other consoles' controllers. The only drawback is no headphone jack.

Comfortable controller, Very similar to the Xbox one controller in size and design but a little lighter. The only problem I had was it did not want to connect at first but after some trouble shooting online and restarting my switch it connected and has worked like a charm ever since.

I bought this for my husband as a gift and he loves it. It stays charged for a long time which allows him to game longer and not worry about putting it to charge every time he plays. More comfortable to play games with than the individual joy sticks

Since Joy-Cons are out of stock I decided to purchase the Pro Controller instead. So far I'm happy I did. I get hours of game play so battery life is very good, it is comfortable in hand so no cramping and I have small hands. The rumble is nice too. Would recommend.

The Wii U was my first console since the N64. I bought many accessories for it including the "Pro Controller". It had twice the battery life of the Switch version. It does a lot of the same things sans amiibo. However, Nintendo has recently allowed Gamecube controllers to work with the Switch but not its own "Pro Controller". I do like the analog sticks and minor details on this controller more. It is far better than the Joycon Grip accessory the console comes with. It also has minor motion controls that help you aim. (ex: your bow in Zelda: BoTW.) 4 stars because of the enormous cost of a fairly standard controller.

Amazing controllers compared to others! Love the feel of this one as you can tell the difference in quality and as much as I play this definitely fits for it's feel! Especially for 3D games, so def recommend this is you're a gamer looking for something to use on the switch

The switch pro controller may be the most comfortable I've ever held in my hands, but one flaw makes it impossible to grant it a perfect rating. If you've heard about the dpad issue, I'm sad to say it's part of the controller's design and not simply a defect among some affected controllers. If you use this you WILL eventually hit a directional button and have the wrong input registered. The good news is that it's not as terrible as it seems and for games that don't rely heavily on the d-pad it isn't much of an issue. Use caution and tap along the putter edge of the button and you will rarely experience any problems.

Many people say this is overpriced. But when you use it everyday, It’s totally worth it. it’s a real solid controller. Nice job Nintendo! Hope it’s going to last long though. The down side for the plus and minus button it hard to reach / feel.

Purchased this for my son. It allowed him to eliminate the restrictions of the wired controller. The freedom to move to more comfortable locations in the room and also not have wires to the console that needed to be walked around was very helpful!

Great controller, works as you would expect it to. the Gyroscope works on this as well, you'll have to turn it off in the game's settings. Feels high-quality, fits well in bigger hands ( a lot better than the plastic piece that comes with the Switch.

This really beats the joycons when you have the console docked. The battery lasts a long time. It's comfortable and everything works as it should, but it's way too expensive.

The pro controller is the best option because it already has a rechargeable battery inside. So why buy a cheap 3rd party controller just to find out that you would need to buy the battery separately. This controller is all set to go and is the best wireless controller for the Nintendo Switch.
