My main controller is the Xbox controller. With that said, the Switch 1 pro controller feels much higher quality. I bought this before the Switch 2's Pro controller was even a twinkle in my eye and I even use it on the Switch 2. Buttons are snappy, thumbsticks are smooth, materials are fantastic, and the build quality is grade A. I only wish Nintendo would go back to having analog triggers...

I find this control useful for gamers searching for an ergonomic solution. The grip is firm - good for people with big hands. The Black finish makes it appear sleeker. It responds fast after connecting to the console. My only complaint is the cost being too high. I still feel like paying $69.00 for a controller isn't as reasonable. If you compare controllers on other consoles like ps4 and Xbox, those cost around $59.99. So the pricing isn't as aligned with other competitors.

I really thought this thing was overpriced. I avoided getting one ever since the switch came out. First I bought a 3rd party controller, and I ended up letting my brother or friends use it when we played - it felt cheap. Then I got a JoyCon "comfort grip." It didn't fit the bill either. Fast forward a year and I picked this guy up. You can tell from the heft of it that it's quality. I twisted the controller by the grips. No squeaking! Alternated pulling the triggers with varying levels of speed and force. No cheap spring sounds! NFC worked perfectly first try, and most importantly... HD RUMBLE! Battery life has worked out to be 30+ hours, as claimed, plus you can charge it via USB C even while you're gaming. I shouldn't have waited this long, guys.

This controller is expensive, but you can feel the quality! The weight is great, feels great in the hands, and blows the standard joy-cons out the water. I really didn't wanna pay the high price, but I'm super happy with my purchase.

This is the best controller Nintendo has offered...although I do like the design on the battery ones, you constantly have to change them out. Since this is a rechargeable controller, it makes life so much simpler...a definite must have!!!

Everything about this feels much more comfortable than the joycon. I love that it’s wireless as well. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars is that it doesn’t seem to be built for precision. For example, I play a lot of Tetris 99, and it seems like I get more misdrops when I play with this control pad over the joycons.

A vast improvement for most Switch games. The size of this controller is similar to a PlayStation or Xbox controller and is far more comfortable than the Switch Joy-Con controllers, especially for adults or teenagers with larger hands.

I bought a cheap knock off controller from Amazon, big mistake! Went to Best Buy for a Pro Controller. I can feel the difference in quality right away. The controller feels solid in my hand with good response time and a charge that last.

I would recommend this controller to anyone! It is a little costly but well worth the money. Works great. I prefer this controller over the joycons. It fits comfortably in your hands. Battery life is also great. A must buy!

Don’t get me wrong, the joy con controllers are amazing pieces of equipment. They can do things that no other controller on the market and do. However, there are certain games that require more precision with your inputs and a more traditional feeling of control. The Switch Pro wireless controllers is my favorite among all the consoles...I’ve owned them all. It’s extremely ergonomic, it holds a 40 hour battery charge. It uses touch and movement to automatically power off and on, to sync flawlessly with any other controller and with the system, And the haptic vibration feedback is amazing. I definitely consider this my most important accessory, and I have been putting off buying a second until super smash Deluxe Edition releases, it comes with a limited smash brothers themed pro wireless controller. I definitely consider this my most important accessory. It’s a little pricy, but so is everything that has that little red label. Do yourself a favor and pick this up.

Like i said in my other official reviews, Nothing beats the Original! For me personally i like using the official products of nintendo, yes they are mostly costly compare to 3rd party accessories but for me they are well built. And most importantly they don't use 2AA batteries..

Needed a better grip and layout for Borderlands 2 and Monster Hunter Rise. Has a great feel and any PS4 or Xbox fans will fit right in. 1 month of hard use and no drift...yet. Battery life blows PS4 and Xbox out of the water.

My child loves his new controllers. The grip is nice and so is the weight. They also keep a pretty good charge.

I was skeptical buying a expensive controller for the Switch since i didn't understand the hype around this controller, i bit the bullet and im glad i did, this controller feels great and even feels better with certain game.

I bought two of these controllers. They're are great to play with and are durable. I've dropped these controllers multiple times and it's still functional. It holds a long charge and works great across the living room. Great purchase!

I love using the pro controller for my switch. It fits nicely in hands and the buttons are easy to press and control. The life of the controller is pretty good as well. I can play for a few days to a week depending on play without charging.

I absolutely love this controller - I use it to play Breath of the Wild and it's so much more comfortable for longer playtime sessions. Can't recommend it enough. It might be on the steeper side of pricing, but the battery lasts for forever and my hands feel great every minute of gameplay.

This is a great wireless controller for the Nintendo Switch. We purchased it because it was Nintendo brand. We haven’t ran across a game yet that it doesn’t work on. It stays charged for a very long time. Glad we purchased it!!!!

This controller feels really nice, and has far better connectivity than the joycon. The battery life is also really good. Only complaint is really the price tag.

The best controller. Ive had it for a couple years and it has not failed me. Spend the money and get this great controller
