Having a real controller is a must! This controller is pricey but worth it! I hate playing with the joy sticks the switch comes with. Battery holds well, for days without needing a charge and it's just awesome, just buy it.

Works as expected. Better than the joy cons for sure. I did get a little grinding feeling on the right stick. Either I have gotten used to it, or it's is not doing it anymore. But all in all, it is a decent controller. I think it is a bit overpriced. But still a huge step up over the junky joy cons.

We got exactly what we expected with the purchase. We ordered it in-store and price-matched to Amazon's current listing. The controller is amazing. It's stylish and very comfy in the hand. The built-in Amiibo reader is a total bonus. The wireless capability is awesome too.

Love the controller. Far more comfortable than joy-cons and doesn't suffer from the connection issues of the left joy-con. Looks great feels great. Battery seems to last forever. Charged the night I got it on March 3rd, and put about 15 hours into zelda since and the on screen meter is full still.

I played my switch with the JoyCons for the whole time while I owned it. But once I finally got a pro controller it was like night and day with comfort. I'm looking forward to trying it with SSBU but I still don't think it will beat out the fantastic GC controller. But who knows!

This is a great controller. It is more comfortable the PS4 controller for me. My thumb is positioned in a comfortable place to press the buttons on this controller. It's kind of expensive though. I also liked it much more than using the joy cons and I think I might travel with this controller.

First off the control may seem pricey but let's face facts. The battery life is way longer than a DS4 (the PS4 controller) with way more tech inside to boot. It feels great in your hands and makes it so much more convenient to use you're switch in docked mood. Would buy another for MARIO kart.

I've gamed for a pretty long time, and certainly played every Nintendo system from NES to the Switch. I've played on Xbox, I've played on Playstation. As soon as this controller was in my hand I instantly smiled. It's a perfect fit for me, so very comfortable, and has a great quality feel to it.

Wonderful battery life. I use this as my personal controller while the kids play with usb controllers. Phenomenal wirrless.

This really is an excellent controller. It makes playing the Switch a significantly better experience. Definitely the best controller Nintendo has done, and has a great battery life. Don't even know when it was last charged.

We had some issues with the original joy-cons. Decided to upgrade. Having used PS3, PS4 and XBox controllers this feels the same. Its robust and well weighted. It has good button feel and reasonable wireless. So a good all round controller

Definitely better than playing with joycons! This controller adds more grip but also relieves stress from your hands while playing for long hours. Definitely a must have for anyone one playing switch on the tv while docked!

Great wireless controller. I use it for super smash to preserve my joy cons from wear and tear. It is very comfortable and battery life is good. The price is steep for a controller like all nintendo branded accessories. The controller feels good in hand. It has a rechargeable internal battery. The feel is similar to a xbox controller. I just hope the joysticks hold up as it is a known problem that nintendo joysticks are brittle and tend drift over time.

This controller is so much nicer than using the joy cons. It's expensive, probably too expensive, but this is Nintendo we're talking about and I must admit it's a fantastic controller.

This controller is worth every penny. The kids abuse it, forget to charge it, and it keeps running. Very comfortable for adult hands.

I already have the joy con and this but I needed a third controller. I prefer this controller over the joy con honestly. It’s lightweight and comfortable to hold. I prefer wireless controllers that don’t need the batteries changed out too.

This controller is great - I like it more than the PS4 or the XBox controllers! With a good balanced weight to it, extraordinary battery life, and all the Rumble and NFC features the console itself has, this is a must have for anyone planning on keeping the Switch around as a main console.

The controller works great. My kids like this style controller way more than the Joy-cons.
