I prefer this gamepad to the Xbox One, and to the Xbox 360 controller - what was the gold standard for me. Not quite above the PS4 DualShock 4, mainly because the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller Home and Share buttons are placed In a way they can be accidentally hit, impacting gameplay. If you want a full-size controller for the Nintendo Switch system, do not skimp - this is the only quality option.

Feels much better than Joycons, especially for games like Smash Bros and Katamari that require more precision control than the Joycons offer. Great battery life, too.

The cost may seem high for a controller but it is worth it if you are not playing in handheld mode. Incredibly comfortable, responsive and has 40 hours of battery life per charge. Worth it!

Excellent controller but pricey! Cheaper options are available but sometimes don’t function as well.

Built solid. Good feel and solid heft to it. It is very disappointing that these cost so much though. 4 of these is virtually the price of the game console.....that bites.

I recommend, I bought this product for 59.99. Best buy was having a sale, but Walmart usually sells it for 59.99 from what I have seen so far. I bought two so if I can save a extra 15 dollar included tax, I want to too. Enough about price, this controller is recommended from me, definitely adds more value to games like 3d world, luguis mansion, mario tennis etc. I recommend the Joycons for games like smash bros and mario kart . It's definitely high end and seems to be more premium them the new controllers release for series x.

if you're looking for a controller that fits the traditional form factor of most standard consoles but want to take it a step further, then this controller is what you're looking for. Offering HD Rumble along with nfc function you elevate your gaming experience from the original joy cons by having a controller that fits better in the hand and has more comfortable analogue sticks and trigger buttons. The pro controller will allow you to really experience different style games to its full extent and offers long hours of gameplay. A definite must have to add to your Switch!

Having thousands of hours' experience with every controller Nintendo has ever produced, this is among their nicest, stylish, and comfortable yet. The buttons just feel great, the Dpad doesn't dig into the fingers like the Wii remotes did, analogs have the right "give", and the triggers sufficient depth. Though similarly shaped to the Wii U's Pro Controller, the construction here is much more solid. It's a shame this was not included with the system vs the ergonomic nightmare that is the JoyCon. It is still more expensive than a controller should be, but is far and away the preferred option when playing docked, and even in portable mode withe the stand.

This controller is great. I like the feel of it. Easier to play some games with this type of controller. It is a little pricey, but still worth it to me.

NFC Reader makes it easier scan Skylanders and read amiibo Battery life is great :) Joy Controllers re good but this is better for lots games also only bad thing is the price

Just like Wii U pro controller, this one also has very long battery life (10 hrs). I personally feel comfortable than Xbox controller. Little heavier than PS4 controller, but much comfortable.

A great option as it does not have cables, works perfectly on wireless options. Its confortable and was a great price option! Great service at pickup.

The pro controller is a pretty easy buy if you can get past the steeper prices that Nintendo's controller hardware is coming at these days. The controller itself is very comfortable and easy to pick up and play with. I massively prefer it to the Joy Con grip controller when it comes to couch play on my TV. Though the price may make it much more expensive, I am excited to get ahold of four of these over the course of the variation releases in order to have four controllers that anyone can pick up and be comfortable with on the spot. My personal game recommendations that work great with this controller are for Breath of the Wild, Mario Rabbids, and Splatoon

The overall quality and durability seem up to the Nintendo standard. Good battery life. I do, however, feel like there is a slight lagging from pushing buttons to the action assigned to each.

The pro controller for the switch is an amazing addition to any set up. The controller has an amazing battery life, great range, and is comfortable to hold.
