The pro controller is a must have if you like to use the Switch as a console. Better battery life, bigger feeling in your hand, it's just like an Xbox controller. I got two of them.

Its so nice using the pro controller, I was hesitant to get it because of the price but honestly you'll want it if u connect to the TV.

While the price might seem a bit steep ($70), there is no doubt about the quality of this controller. It is one of the most comfortable controllers that I've ever used and blows the joy-cons out of the water. It comes with a 40-hour rechargeable battery and built-in NFC functionality, so you know where the extra money goes toward. Buy it for the best Switch gaming experience possible.

I bought this controller as a second controller for my Switch. It's comfortable and battery life is fantastic. This is one of the better controllers that I have used. Quality build!

Bought this for my son. It’s top quality. The battery lasts a very long time. He likes the rumble function. There’s no noticeable lag.

If you play your switch for extended periods or play games where precision control is necessary, the pro controller is mandatory. Great construction, even better battery life.

I know there’s a lot of third party controllers that work well and may have some functions that this controller does not, however if you get a Switch and want a controller that is your go to, this is it. It is so comfortable to grip and the button layout feels so natural compared to other controllers. I know some options may have give and take but this controller has little to no draw backs at all. If the price throws you off consider there’s cheaper alternatives, trust me it’s worth the extra for what you’re getting!

I really prefer this controller over the Joycons(but I like those too). It feels like its really good quality and the conteoller itself feels great to use.

Thus far this is my favorite input device for the Switch. Not just for the nice layout, high quality feel, wireless convenience... it also is the smoothest motion controller I've used so far. The joy cons work great but for whatever reason the pro controller feels a noticeable bit more precise when doing any sort of aiming or looking via motion. I mainly bought this for Smash Bros but I find myself using it for pretty much everything I play when I'm playing at home via the dock.

Bought a a gift for my grandson. Wireless,good quality. He loves it! Getting hard use and no problems. Easy to use.Good control.

I know it's a little pricy but it is absolutely worth it when you want to play with friends. The standard switch controllers just don't have the same feeling as a pro controller.

HUGE improvement over the normal joycons that come bundled with the Switch console. Worth the money. Good battery life and feels great to play.

The Joy-cons are cool but I've been playing xbox for years and this controller is much more comfortable than those tiny things. Wish it wasn't so expensive but it's worth it

I was a little unsure about this at first. I had no doubt that the controller would be at least as good as the Wii U's pro controller. Quite possibly the best way to describe this is as the exact opposite of the Switch's joy-cons. The joy-cons are fine, but they are very small and someties disconnect if you are far-enough away from the tv. The pro controller fixes both of these. The buttons and controller themselves are big and so ergonomic. I have only charged it once since that first night that I used it. The battery life is fantastic! I would highly recommend this if you are going to be playing your Switch for long play sessions.

The Nintendo Switch Pro controller has been one of my favorites since I first had one, but my previous controller ended up having drift issues approximately 4 years after I bought it. It's very comfortable, with the buttons having a squishy feel. The only problem I have with it is that placing amiibo onto it is often finnicky.

The price is pretty steep, but it fits so comfortably in my hand. I would still try and Xbox One controller before purchasing though.
