very comfortable but expensive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Pro controller is extremely comfortable to hold, it makes playing Zelda way easier for me than using the Joy Cons. It is similar in form to the XB1 controller. It does seem extremely overpriced for a controller, but it is probably due to its included motion controls. Also, it comes with a USB cable to charge the controller with the Switch dock, but I find this useless unless you sit very close to the TV. Bought a second AC adapter cable so I could charge it from a power outlet closer to me, but this was okay since the Switch itself can also use the same cable, making the second cable also usable as a travel charger instead of having to unplug the one from the dock whenever you want to take the system mobile.

Good traditional option for Switch owners
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I actually enjoy using the Joy-Cons in the included grip that comes with the system, but, being a Nintendo console, you are guaranteed to need at least one other controller at some point (Mario Kart, ARMS, Splatoon 2, Pokken, etc. all are great for multi-player). The Pro controller provides a slightly cheaper option (though still too expensive) than a new Joy-Con pair (especially if you factor in a charging stand for two sets of Joy-Cons), and allows for a more traditional control scheme to games like Splatoon 2 and Mario Kart. Good pick-up if you are looking for that and play in TV mode a lot. You can still use it in handheld mode, but that seems like too much to carry around depending on the circumstances.

Good Quality
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got it on sale but I’d say that it isn’t as intuitive as I’d like. Battery life is impressive. The controller still displays full battery and it was only charged once before use, about two weeks ago. Easier to use for adults with big hands. Build quality is good and feels pretty solid.

Best controller!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this controlled. My fingertips no longer get sore after a longer gaming period. Was concerned about drift, but did some online research. Once I calibrated the unit, the drift was resolved.

For heavy players
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best controller so far, sleek and clean design this is definitely should be your main controller because it does it all, battery life is the best quality for sure compared to other brands

Perfect Controller
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been playing on Xbox for the last 10 years and after getting this it made the Switch much more comfortable to use. The layout is identical to an Xbox controller but the rubber texture on it makes it even more comfortable to use. It’s the perfect size and shape.

Fantastic controller!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In my opinion, the precision on this controller is better than joy cons. I've never had problems with battery life or disconnect during game play when using this controller. My only complaint is perhaps that the - and + signs aren't shaped like the characters, the way they are on the joy cons. This isn't enough for me to give this product a lower rating though.

Must have
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Late adopter to the switch, mostly play PS4, so definitely needed the pro controller. The Joy-Con buttons are just too small to play for a long amount of time. Still a little more expensive than other controllers, but seems like Nintendo's got a stranglehold on pricing anyways...

Great quality
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this remote. I bought a second once since my little one has been hogging my other pro controller to play Smash and Splattoon 2. He is pretty rough with the controller and it still is working great! The other pro controller was bought 3.3.17, at switch release. Best quality remote, but pricy. Totally worth it though.

Great controller!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is absolutely the best controller I’ve used for Switch. I tried a much less expensive one and it worked fine but didn’t have that good “feel” of this one. It’s responsive, has motion controls, and comfortable.

A great controller for a great system.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a must buy alongside the switch. While using the joycons with thier contoller dock can be a good solution. I doesn't ebay the fact that this one has a godlike D-pad for those great 8-bit titles like Shovel Knight and the upcoming Virtual Console games. Get this knowing the fact that you will now have 3 controllers for 3 players to play on your Switch.

Great, more precise controller.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great alternative controller to the standard Joy Cons and controller frame that come with the Switch. It's more ergonomic and less awkward for long gaming sessions. I'm a fan of the xbox One X and Series X standard controllers and this is very similar. One difference in the X, Y, A, B layout which after gaming with this for a while could lead to some confusion if you bounce between Consoles. Regardless this is a solid controller with good battery life and I would recommend it to any switch owner looking to purchase additional controllers.

Helps Gameplay
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The controller while on the pricey side is much better than the joy-cons that come with the system. While playing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the joy-cons on the knobs would activate crouch or scope when you were trying to move. Got to be annoying especially during boss fights. This controller does so much better with game play. Highly recommend!

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We love this controller! The vibrate is about the same as with the joycons but the grip is much better for long play sessions.

Worth Every Penny!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nintendo really knocked it out of the park with the Switch's "Pro Wireless Controller." Featuring a design layout similar to the "Xbox 360 Wireless Controller," the Pro offers a nice ergonomic shape to it that seriously extends one's gaming time they may not otherwise experience with the Switch's "Joy-Con (L/R) Wireless Controllers." There's a certain quality feel to the Pro: it's heavy, the firm buttons & D-pad make it satisfying to press, the triggers are spongy & responsive, & the large analog sticks have the best grip material. If you're tired of the "Joy-Con Drift" I suggest you purchase this, since I haven't experienced, or came across anyone who had, that issue here. --If an upgraded analog stick isn't enough to sell you, then the Pro Controller's HD Rumble will, which has made playing most of the Nintendo titles an immersive experience. Just make it easier on yourself & pick this controller up sooner than later, you'll be happy you did. Cheers!
