Never going back to joycons
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical about getting a pro controller because it's pretty expensive and I'd always liked using my joy cons. But they started to drift to the point that lots of games were unplayable. A friend of mine said she was really satisfied with her pro controller and that she hasn't had any drift issues with it. I won't use anything else now! The HD rumble is really nice, especially with games where the rumble helps you navigate, etc. The textures of the different buttons are icing on the cake. My only complaint is that when I'm playing in handheld mode with the pro controller, I have to make sure the joycons aren't attached or else the switch sometimes thinks I'm using them to play and starts drifting.

Great controller
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Must have if your get a switch! I got my son a Power A and it quit working in less than a month. I have had my original pro controller since the day the switch launched. The battery just now needed replacing on my original which was easy with a few screws on the back along with a YouTube video and a $15 official battery from Nintendo website it works like new. This controller was for my mom and her new switch!

worth adding to you collection.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i've had my switch for about a year now and only just recently picked up the pro controller in the last month. i've had few issues with using the joy-cons as my primary controller and their ability to be used independent of each other allows for way more comfort during extended play sessions. i decided to pick up the pro controller when i bought the new monster hunter release as i'm not very experienced in that games mechanics and UI and using the joy-cons during the demo was very clunky for my larger hands. the pro controller is fantastic. very comfortable and great responsiveness, and i rectifies the only major issue i have with the joy-cons, which is lack of a proper d-pad. i definitely think it's worth adding to your controller collection even if you are satisfied with what you already have.

Great!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Better than controller that comes with the system. Fits larger hands better. Grip is comfortable. Charge lasts longer than I thought. Overall very happy with these controllers. Bought two of them!

Casual Dad Gamer - No Regrets on the purchase
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good grip, good amount of gameplay before needing a charge, built in rechargeable battery (bonus compared to Xbox), must have for wireless gaming. No complaints other than how Nintendo and Xbox have different abxy button configurations.

Great "regular" Switch Controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love using it for Zelda when I'm at home playing on the TV. That way I don't have to take the joy-cons off the console each time I play. I've used the controller about 20 hours and I haven't had to charge it since the initial charge. The joy cons don't have d-pads, so you'll want one if you play a lot of 2D games. Although it's bulkiness makes it more challenging to bring with you for portable play, it's a better build quality than the joy cons or even the Wii U pro controller. I still prefer the PS4 controler overall, but I could see this being a favorite with more time. I should mention that it doesn't work with all games, since many of them are designed to use the joy cons unique features. The lack of a headphone jack and no analog triggers are unfortunate, but it's your best choice for Zelda and probably other future "traditional hard-core games".

Great, but pricey
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller has a fantastic feel to it and the battery lasts seemingly forever. I would highly recommend it if you are buying a Switch as it is significantly better than the Joycons. I do wish it wasn't so pricey as IMO it is overpriced.

One of the best controllers ever made
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic feel, good weight, responsive sticks and buttons that are placed well, and a 40 hour battery life. Includes USB-C charging cable. I think this even trumps the 360 controller. Works natively with PC out of the box. A must have for any gamer.

Must buy for long term gaming
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It took me a while to finally buy this controller. It was expensive, hence only 4 stars. It costs more than a PS4 controller, and more than an XBOne controller. Once I got passed the price point and went for it, I haven't looked back. The controller has a crazy battery life. It is comfortable, and won't hurt your hands after gaming on your switch for hours. If you can afford it or find it on sale at a good price, I would definitely recommend buying one.

Good Battery Life
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You don't have to own a Pro Controller if you own a Switch, but it's a great controller. You get a good battery life out of it, the weight is just about perfect, and I like the feel of it better than I do the Joy Cons (which seem a bit teeny to me).

Feels great!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The controller feels great and is much more comfortable than the Joy-Con Controllers. The battery life is fantastic and it comes with a USB C cable that is nice to have on the go for charging the Switch. The only thing is that it is a little pricey.

I love this controller
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great controller that feels good to hold and use. It is incompatible with some games, but that's because of the games themselves, not an issue with the controller. It's easy to pair with the switch and stays paired until swapped to another device with no disconnecting issues. The battery lasts a long time, too. 5 stars.

More comfortable than Joy Cons
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A definite accessory for the Nintendo Switch. If you feel like the Joy Cons are too small or uncomfortable to hold for long periods of time, the Pro Controller is a must. Its extremely comfortable, very light, and keeps charge for a long time.

great controller!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.best controller to use for someone that can't use small joy cons. i have arthritis in my hands from sports injuries so it's hard for me to play with the small joycons. i still wanted to be able to play with my son. i bought the cheaper controller and didn't like how cheap it was so i had to splurge on this controller. it feels great and it's comfortable ion the hands. the only downside is the price and how it connects automatically most of the time. this is my controller so my son doesn't use it but it shows up when starting a game. the price is 69.99 and i feel it doesn't offer enough to warrant that price point.

Good product!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Exactly what I needed. Good controls out of the box, no analog triggers if you're concerned about that but to me I don't need them anyways, no back buttons as well and I prefer that as I accidentally hit them anyways.
