Great, but pricey
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller has a fantastic feel to it and the battery lasts seemingly forever. I would highly recommend it if you are buying a Switch as it is significantly better than the Joycons. I do wish it wasn't so pricey as IMO it is overpriced.

Good Battery Life
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You don't have to own a Pro Controller if you own a Switch, but it's a great controller. You get a good battery life out of it, the weight is just about perfect, and I like the feel of it better than I do the Joy Cons (which seem a bit teeny to me).

Great!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Better than controller that comes with the system. Fits larger hands better. Grip is comfortable. Charge lasts longer than I thought. Overall very happy with these controllers. Bought two of them!

Must buy for long term gaming
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It took me a while to finally buy this controller. It was expensive, hence only 4 stars. It costs more than a PS4 controller, and more than an XBOne controller. Once I got passed the price point and went for it, I haven't looked back. The controller has a crazy battery life. It is comfortable, and won't hurt your hands after gaming on your switch for hours. If you can afford it or find it on sale at a good price, I would definitely recommend buying one.

Feels great!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The controller feels great and is much more comfortable than the Joy-Con Controllers. The battery life is fantastic and it comes with a USB C cable that is nice to have on the go for charging the Switch. The only thing is that it is a little pricey.

Great controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've used the Nintendo pro controller since the Switch launched and finally bought another one. This has been one of the most durable modern controllers I've ever had and I'd highly recommend going with the Nintendo brand over third party versions.

More comfortable than Joy Cons
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A definite accessory for the Nintendo Switch. If you feel like the Joy Cons are too small or uncomfortable to hold for long periods of time, the Pro Controller is a must. Its extremely comfortable, very light, and keeps charge for a long time.

Great controller
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Must have if your get a switch! I got my son a Power A and it quit working in less than a month. I have had my original pro controller since the day the switch launched. The battery just now needed replacing on my original which was easy with a few screws on the back along with a YouTube video and a $15 official battery from Nintendo website it works like new. This controller was for my mom and her new switch!

great controller!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.best controller to use for someone that can't use small joy cons. i have arthritis in my hands from sports injuries so it's hard for me to play with the small joycons. i still wanted to be able to play with my son. i bought the cheaper controller and didn't like how cheap it was so i had to splurge on this controller. it feels great and it's comfortable ion the hands. the only downside is the price and how it connects automatically most of the time. this is my controller so my son doesn't use it but it shows up when starting a game. the price is 69.99 and i feel it doesn't offer enough to warrant that price point.

Amazing controller with one downside...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I struggled giving this five stars because it does have one pretty glaring flaw, but let me talk about the positives first. The overall feel of this controller is amazing and it comes second to only the XBox One for my favorite controller of all time. Super responsive, comfortable for bigger hands, great batter life (might have the best better life of any controller, ever)...can't ask for much more. Only negative is the rumble is so weak I wondered if I had a defective model. In fact I almost took it back before looking online and seeing that's just how it is. I could also add in the price as a negative, definitely watch for this on sale. Overall though I feel like the positives far outweigh the negatives and I highly recommend it.

Quite possibly the best console controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Alright, I get that the title is a stretch, but I do mean it when I say: This controller feels amazing to use. Its in the Top 3 of controllers to use, with PS2 & Gamecube for me. If you're not a fan of how the Joy-cons feel in their controller handle dock, since its not angled like a regular controller & the thumbs have to move up & down, then i would highly recommend this to you. I would in general. Its feels nice to hold, the controller has weight to it, which is nice compared to the small Joy-cons (even though they don't feel terrible, just... light). While the D-Pad itself isn't like previous D-Pads & you might find yourself hitting a direction you didn't mean to, it doesn't happen enough to be a big negative. While the price is, I'd say, $10 too high, This is a controller you need to pick up at some point.

A Must Buy Accessory for Your Switch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I do love my Switch, and the joycons are neat. But, they are not the sturdiest of controllers nor are they really designed for big hands. I have very big hands. The Pro Controller fixes both of these issues. It is extremely durable and feels very good in my big meathooks. Another added perk is the battery life - this thing is a beast and it lasts forever in between re-charges. I suspect that is because there are no bells-and-whistles on it (such as lights and/or speakers), and the HD rumble has many degrees of power so it's not a constant volcano-eruption every time a rumble prompt occurs. If you like playing with controllers on your other consoles, you will have no trouble getting used to how the Pro Controller feels.

Best way to play
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It sounded a little steep at $70, but once I got my hands on it to start playing, I quickly realized that it's completely worth it. It's got a great weight and it feels awesome in your hands. Plus the battery life is pretty incredible.

Almost perfect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I only have two complaints: 1) the dpad; and 2) the triggers. The dpad is unprecise and it frequently registers the wrong input. The triggers do not depress far enough. Unfortunately they are more clicky than springy, which was a big let down for me. Everything else is great. In terms of comfort, it's similar to the 360's controller. In regards to battery life, there is no comparison. This thing gets like 40 hours on a single charge! It's by far the best way to play the switch.

solid controller option for the Switch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Most people that I know whom own the switch where not feeling to comfortable holding the joy-con controllers with their hands, I am one of those people who complained about it also. The Pro controller gives Nintendo Switch owners the option to play their favorite titles the old fashioned way with dual thumbsticks, a d-pad, but with the added benefit of motion sensors. The controller feels durable, it has a built in Amiibo reader, and rumble effects. The controller is very comfortable to hold, feels great, its very responsive, and would make a PS4 and Xbox owners feel right at home. My only complaint is the price tag of the controller costs more than a game makes it less attractive to the other cheaper alternatives for switch controllers.

Debating a Second One!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have to say, my friends all suggested that I get one of the off-brand controllers for Switch and made fun of me for wanting to pay the higher price for this one. I am SOOO glad I did! It synched perfectly with my console just by plugging it in, and I have had zero connection issues since. The Pro controller feels great and provides a much better gaming experience than using the Joy-Cons together. It keeps charge for much longer than expected even with a couple hours of play each day. I do not really have many folks over to game these days, but I am definitely debating the purchase of a second one just in case. Highly Recommend!

Nice and Hefty, Lackluster D-pad
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall a great controller. Good battery life, nice click-y buttons without too much travel, and has a nice weight to it that makes it feel like a quality build. The D-pad isn't that great though. It can often have improper inputs (such as UP if you press LEFT or RIGHT). I'd try seeing some other 3rd party options first if you don't feel comfortable with the price and don't care for things like NFC, H-D Rumble, and Gyro Controls.
