Sets the standard
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great controller. Sets the standard for all others. I think I like it even more than my (beloved) Xbox controller. They are very similar to each other of course, but this controller feels more refined somehow. This is the second time I've purchased this because I sold my first one to my nephews when I sold them my old switch. But I missed having this controller so I bought another one.

Amazing controller, some gripes though
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Right now this is the best controller on the Nintendo Switch. Period. End of story. If you're looking for a controller, you can stop your search here. It's also the best controller that Nintendo has produced since the SNES. It's exceptionally comfortable, has tremendously good battery life and works natively with the PC. But it's got a few problems: firstly, no headset jack. That's a real shame, the console itself has one, so why doesn't the Pro Controller? Also, it's really too bad they went with digital triggers instead of analog triggers, I suspect that will hurt future third party titles, racing games and first person shooters especially will play worse on this controller than on the XB1's for example. Those complaints aside, this is a terrific controller.

Switch Pro Controller Review
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you don't like the joycons, then the pro controller is the thing to get. The build quality is very solid, and this has an excellent battery life (at least compared to how long my PS4 controllers last). All the buttons feel great (especially the d-pad), and I've never experienced any issues. My only criticism is the controller is kind of pricey, and there are not that many special editions released for it.

Great upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The joy cons are nice and all but a little small when Dad wants to play. I have an Xbox 360 and a PS4 dual shock and this is by far my favorite controller of the 3. Good size and weight. Very comfortable.

Great controller, amazing battery
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you’re like me, I was researching controllers and was torn between this one and the one with programmable buttons on the bottom (enhanced controller). I ultimately chose this one for the rechargeable battery, haptic feedback/rumble, and NFC support (the enhanced controller doesn’t have these features). After using this one for a few months I love it and couldn’t imagine playing games with the little joy-cons like I used to. At roughly the same price as most Switch games, I’d recommend trying to find it on sale, but I think it’s worth the hefty price.

Excellent Controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this controller. it feels nice in my hands. I love the thumbsticks, they feel like the PS4 controller's. my only negative is the price but when it has such a lomg battery life, I think it's okay

A great quality controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a bit expensive but it is very well made and has an amazing battery life. It is far superior then the controller that comes with the switch. I highly recommend getting it.

Best Nintendo Controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for when I had my Switch docked and am playing for a while. It is a lot more comfortable then the joy cons. Price is a little much, but it's by far the best controller you can get for the Switch.

Best Controller!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best controller I have ever owned! The material, vibration, and battery are of the best quality! The controller melts in your hand, and it does not bother you at all on long play times.

A must have purchase
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.More comfortable than constantly using Small Joy-Cons. Wireless is big help than a Wired controller. Charge time lasts longer than PS controllers.

So far, so great!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I bought my switch, I also picked up copies of the new Zelda and Mario Kart 8. I knew I wanted to get another controller and was contemplating either another set of Joycon, or this "Pro" controller. A young Best Buy guy wandered over, saw what I was looking at and what was in my hands, and guessed my dilemma. "I'd advise the Pro controller. If you're playing on your TV, you can't charge the Joycon and play at the same time. And if you're going to be playing Zelda, you'll be playing for hours - the Pro controller will be way more comfortable for long play sessions." I took his advice, and I'm super glad I did. The Pro controller is very comfortable (even in my big hands) and charging while I play is a must.

Worth the $$$ if you’re a Switch gamer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My original Nintendo Switch pro controller lasted over 3,000 hours of gaming and finally fell victim to the joystick drift… very easy choice to replace this - it’s most comfortable controller for my big hands to hold… really don’t do well with the joycons . Love that the pro controller is wireless and has long battery life!

Very Pricey, but a Great Controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although I still think the MSRP on this controller is absolutely nuts, if I look past that price tag, the controller feels great. The buttons and sticks feel great, it sits well in the hand, and it has motion control for games like Splatoon 2. My only complaint is that the d-pad is terrible, sometimes registering inputs incorrectly (you can read more about this issue online), but aside from that, one of my favorite controllers.

Incredible for dock players! (One minor issue)
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller has worked me well, having an amazing battery life, being responsive, comfortable and everything youd expect from a well made controller, one minor issue I have, and it's does not happen extremely commonly, is that flicking any if the two analog sticks quickly (like if you are trying to turn your character in a certain direction with a flick) is that when the analog stick returns to the centre, it surpasses the dead zone which can be bothersome for some but really not a big problem for myself, but still dont expect this from a licensed product. Still a wonderful controller and highly reccomend

Great buy.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Though this controller is pretty pricey, I got to admit it’s pretty great. I’m familiar with the feel of it bc I own an Xbox. Wireless is much needed and works perfectly.

Great Improvement on the Wii-U Pro Controller.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I liked the Wii-U Pro controller alot, I'm sorry but I have never been a fan of the Wii/Wii-u remote controller and nunchuck set up. This controller is an improvement on the Wii-U Pro Controller. They are set up identically but the switch controller has heavier and more comfortable feel (I don't know if it is ACTUALLY heavier, it just feels more solid to me). The mat finish helps a lot as it is not as slippery as the Wii-u one on marathon sessions. I got two of these for Christmas for the family. We have only had to charge one once. I have not noticed any latency issues, distance is good and it has never dropped a connection. Pairing is easier than ever. This is a definite buy for the casual or serious gamer.

Best Switch controller available
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very comfortable Xbox-style controller. Has a pretty good battery life and pretty good weight to it. Could be a bit cheaper, but Nintendo stuff typically weighs on the pricier side
