Bought this for the wife because the standard Switch Joy Cons are notorious for getting stick drift - and her Joy Cons on both sides had stick drift. This is an excellent, well made controller that every Switch owner should have! Pros: Long battery life, quick charging time Controller feels solid, not flimsy at all Buttons feel great, have good response Connects to Switch easily Cons: Wish these came in other colors.

This is BY FAR, the best official controller for any console. It is so comfortable in the hands. The sticks feel great. The rumble is amazing. The gyro controls. The PC usage. It’s amazing. The only flaw is the D-Pad so for fighting games like street fighter I wouldn’t recommend this (but if you’re taking those games seriously you probably have a fight stick) if you’re thinking about buying this. DO IT. You will not regret a thing. Also the battery life is amazing.

Basically this is the only way to have a real high quality controller. The joycons are nice and convenient as well as versatile but if you want an actual controller that you can use this is the only way. I wish it didn't have a 70 dollar pricetag. Of course Nintendo is gonna try and rake in that money. One convenient thing is that it charges with type c which most phones use now so you should have a few cables to charge the controller if you happen to lose yours.

The Nintendo Switch Pro controller certainly is pricey but when you consider its 40 hour battery life and extremely comfortable form-factor, I would consider it essential. This is the best controller Nintendo has made since the GameCube controller. It's also important to note that the PS4 controller for example is only $10 cheaper and the battery life is exponentially worse. I have yet to try the HD rumble but the controller is so comfortable to use that I can confidently say that this is the way to go.

These are considerably more expensive than wired controllers, but they are worth it. Our couch is not close to our tv setup, so we would have to sit on the ground to play. That's fine as a kid, not as an adult. So I came across these. They have been amazing! They have a nice feel to them. It keeps a charge pretty long too! Be smart, and spend the extra money.

The battery life alone is worth buying it, yet the more comfortable grip than the Grip for the Joy-cons, the HD rumble, and several other features make it a solid controller to own. The llack of a headphone jack and the d-pad are my only issues that keep it from getting 5/5 review.

Love this controller. It syncs up quickly to the Switch, it feels solid in your hand, it works perfectly, and it's durable (my kids tend to drop controllers and knock them off of furniture on to the non-carpeted floor). I have 2 of these, and while I have 2 pairs of joycons and 3 Beboncool wireless pro controllers, I'd like another one of these because I play with two kids who prefer these controllers to the others.

This controller feels just as good as most controllers i used (Xbox One, Dualshock 4). The only small caveats i have with this controller is a weird joystick issue where if you flick the stick hard/fast enough (usually when executing quick inputs), it would “snapback” and go the opposite input. This can be a bit annoying since i didn’t had that issue with othercontrollers but i got used to it. Also wished this controller was a bit cheaper as 70 dollars is a bit steep, though other new flagship controllers from other consoles are nearly the same.

great durability, long playtime after full charge, charges decently quick, can play while plugged in charging - my sons dropped his original one more times than I can count and it's still working perfectly no drift issues button stuck issues etc, - also uses usb c to charge which is great for kids no wrong way to plug it in. not really many sales on this controller - you get what you pay for.

This is the best pro controller you can purchase for the switch. I knocked it down one star because it’s overpriced. Being Nintendo branded controller, you’ll get quality. Another perk is the long battery life and easy to replace if it don’t take a charge one day.

This controller is fantastic, a must-buy for the Switch experience. Great weight, feel, and structure. I have not had a single disconnection reported with the JoyCon controllers or other ones I have experienced with my Xbox One controllers. I have heard reservations that this controller is expensive but the battery pack that is included is spectacular. While my Xbox one controller needs charged every other day, I have had to charge this only twice in the 3 weeks of over 140 hours played in Zelda.

If you’re like me and you complained about the ergonomics of the stock switch controllers, then this is your solution. It may be on the pricey side but it is well worth it for games like Breath of the Wild. Ergonomics are perfect; buttons and control sticks are right where they should be. Instead of all the controls being organized vertically, they fall in more natural positions. Basically, if you are used to using traditional controllers, this will not disappoint. Highly recommend.

The joycons that come with the Nintendo Switch work pretty well for most games, but this pro controller is WAY more comfortable and satisfying to use. If you play for long hours, you will want one of these or you’ll have hand cramps all the time from using the joycons. I especially recommend it for competitive games like Splatoon 2 for example.

This is one of the best gaming controllers money can buy. I purchased it along with a Switch for my kids this Xmas and it works great. The battery lasts many hours before needed a charge and the controller is rock solid and comfortable to use. Its the perfect option for kids that are more prone to dropping the controller and adults that may throw it across the room. :) Buy with confidence!

The pro controller greatly improves the playing experience when the switch is docked. I have huge hands and the small joy cons were a bother. The pro controller was a welcome change. The internal battery lasts around 25-30 hours. The only con is that it is too pricey.

Probably one of the best controllers of the last decade at least, incredibly comfortable and well-made. Worth the money.

I bought this for Smash Brothers and it is so much fun. I like this controller over the Switch controller. This one is more comfortable like a traditional controller when playing solo and the battery life on it is great. I've used it quite regularly for about 4 hours and I barely made a dent in the battery life. The Switch controllers seem to drain faster. If your buying a Switch you need the controller too. It's a no brainer.
