I had this controller for a very long time now and I gotta say, it feels very good in the hands. The button feel big and the sticks are so good. Pretty much everything is responsive and it could link via steam. Is there any flaws with this controller? THE D-PAD CURSE!!! As many of you know, the D-pad on this controller has a very funky issue where you press left or right and it would also register up or down. Although the solution to fix this problem is to open up the controller (For me its easy) and put 4 sided tape to fix the issue, it still baffles me how Nintendo was able to screw up a D-pad.

One of the most solid console controllers I've owned in my life. Just holding it you can feel the build quality compared to some of the cheaper controller options available out there. Battery life is good, I usually get anywhere between 7-10 hours on a full charge. I would highly recommend the pro controller over any other switch controllers, especially the default Nintendo joy-cons.

I bought this for Smash Brothers and it is so much fun. I like this controller over the Switch controller. This one is more comfortable like a traditional controller when playing solo and the battery life on it is great. I've used it quite regularly for about 4 hours and I barely made a dent in the battery life. The Switch controllers seem to drain faster. If your buying a Switch you need the controller too. It's a no brainer.

Incredible Controller, Even in the Switch 2 Era

My main controller is the Xbox controller. With that said, the Switch 1 pro controller feels much higher quality. I bought this before the Switch 2's Pro controller was even a twinkle in my eye and I even use it on the Switch 2. Buttons are snappy, thumbsticks are smooth, materials are fantastic, and the build quality is grade A. I only wish Nintendo would go back to having analog triggers...

If you’re like me and you complained about the ergonomics of the stock switch controllers, then this is your solution. It may be on the pricey side but it is well worth it for games like Breath of the Wild. Ergonomics are perfect; buttons and control sticks are right where they should be. Instead of all the controls being organized vertically, they fall in more natural positions. Basically, if you are used to using traditional controllers, this will not disappoint. Highly recommend.

This controller is fantastic, a must-buy for the Switch experience. Great weight, feel, and structure. I have not had a single disconnection reported with the JoyCon controllers or other ones I have experienced with my Xbox One controllers. I have heard reservations that this controller is expensive but the battery pack that is included is spectacular. While my Xbox one controller needs charged every other day, I have had to charge this only twice in the 3 weeks of over 140 hours played in Zelda.

    Gaming with 4K TV streaming

Bought this controller to use with the Samsung Gaming Hub on our Q90F 4K TV. This allows us to play games through the XBOX Game pass (if you have that), LUNA which if you have the Amazon Firestick will have some free options to play those and NIVIDA gaming if you have that subscription. This is really a good option if you don't have a gaming console and want to game on a newer TV that offers streaming gaming where all you need is a Bluetooth controller and a subscription to one of the gaming services offered through your specific tv. I also purchased this controller since my daughter has a Switch and we are also able to use this contoller when we play co-op games via her switch when hooked out to the Q90F 4K TV.

This controller is definitely better than the joycons. The grip is very comfortable and the rumble is also better. Another important thing to keep in mind is that you can turn on the switch with this controller since it is an official Nintendo-made controller. Battery life is good and it doesn't suddenly disconnect mid-game like other cheap controllers.

Feels good to use. Check. Quality product. Check. Looks cool. Check. Wireless. Check. Long battery life. Check. What else could you ask for? It is a little pricey for a Switch controller but it is the highest quality Switch controller readily available. It is my daily driver.

I have all of the modern consoles(PS4, Xbox One, Switch, Wii U and more) and this is by far my favorite controller. It's comfortable. The motion controls are sensitive, and I have arthritus and it bothers my hands the least of all my controllers. It's more expensive than other controllers, but I think it's worth it. I definitely prefer it over the joy cons that come with the switch. I use it for Splatoon 2 and Zelda so far, and will definitely be using it for Odyssey as well.

Wasn't sure if the pro was worth the extra/bucks, but so far we are really happy with the quality and comfort. One feature that really sold us over the basic /enhanced controller wast the rumble feature. The battery life seems really good so far and the durability seems great also . If you have the standard switch controller that comes with the device this is a great addition for adding an extra player.

The controller is wireless, has HD rumble, amiibo support, and is made with very high quality. The only reason I give it 4 stars is the hefty price point. If you are looking for top of the line best of the best compared to what is available right now, this is your pad.

Probably the most comfortable controller I've ever held before. I've used this controller constantly since purchasing more than a year ago and its still working like new. No analog stick drift or anything out of the ordinary with this one. My only gripe is that the d-pad is a bit slippery, but I'm just really picky about d-pads. If you have a Switch, then owning this controller is a no-brainer.

I personally enjoy the ergonomic feel of the pro controller. It's much easier to hold and feels familiar unlike the joycons. It is the only pro controller that is wireless, can wake up the switch from sleep mode, gives hd rumble, and uses nfc communicatiom for amiibos. It is relatively expensive and there are cheaper third party options but the value is still there from the Nintendo controller. Overall I would highly recommend it!

The heavy price tag is intimidating but it's definitely worth it, the controller is comfortable to hold for long periods of time. The buttons are responsive, the rumble is strong but not loud. Definitely a must have for play sessions above 2 hours. Though wish it was cheaper.
