After reading the reviews, I decided to purchase and I am very pleased with it. Easy syncing with console. It's got some weight to it but very sturdy. I vibrates as well. It feels similar to an xbox controller and my hands don't get all cramped up like they do when I use the joycons. You can charge it by plugging it into the console or an adapter. Great buy all in all.

Ive bought 3 of these at different times since Switch launch. They’re more comfortable than Joy-cons and is the only other truly fully-featured controller choice for the Switch. 3rd-party controllers all lack something: maybe NFC, HD Rumble, or motion controls. As far as I know, NO 3rd-party controllers can wake the console (1st-world problems, I know) The problem is that the D-pad is sub-par. It’s been a common complaint about the Pro Controller since launch. It has little/no pivot, and can give false inputs. Probably not critical/noticeable for everyone, but something like a false UP tap in Tetris can easily frustrate. I’ve bought 3 because it’s really a great controller aside from the D-pad, which is all the more ironic+disappointing because Nintendo actually invented the D-pad. :/

This is the best controller for the Switch. It isn't cheap, but don't waste any time or money on another controller. It also will work on Switch 2! But as of now, I would get the Pro 2 controller if I was buying one for just Switch 2. Unless this controller goes on sale.

This has become a must have when playing switch connected into the dock. The dimensions, weight, and feel is right up there with quality of PS4 and XBOX. It comes with all the same functionality as the included remotes (motion, rumble, 1:1 button mapping). The removable remotes are 'ok' but this controller is what makes it feel more like a true gaming console and less like just a portable handheld. I'd have a lot of trouble ever going back.

I picked up my Pro controller when I purchased my Switch. At first I was not going to do it, but decided to go for it and man was it the right choice. The Pro is the only controller I use to play and I love it. The Joy-Cons are too small for my hands and this feels good. It is wireless and the charge last forever and the range is very good. Switch without the Pro controller is a different experience, I am so glad that I purchased it right away.

After owning countless video game consoles and using all their various controllers, I can easily say that the Nintendo Switch Pro Wireless Controller is the best one I have ever held in my hand. The battery life is fantastic. This controller is a very big improvement over two combined joycons. It made my Zelda gameplay experience much better.

This controller repsonds better than some other controllers I have tried. Fits comfortably in my hand doesn't matter what type of game I play. Battery life is great too.

The pro controller has always been overpriced for what it offers, but being a first party device means it is just going to work. On the plus side, I was about to beat Kirby and the Forgotten Lands on a single charge, can't argue with the battery life especially compared to PS5.

Easily the best nintendo switch controller by far. It is wireless and has a fantastic feal when gaming. Bigger size then the joy-con so if you have bigger hands or frankly are an adult this controller feels fantastic. Dont sweat the cost, it is worth every penny, even if you are a casual player. I find myself using this exclusively when playing on the switch.

Love this controller for the Switch. I'm an Xbox fan and this controller mimics that one almost exactly with the exception of the swapping spaces of the A & B buttons and X & Y buttons. It takes minor adjusting time to familiarize yourself and remember the layout is different from Xbox. After that, it works awesome. Easy to charge and keeps a charge well too.

I decided to buy this controller because it has the same functions as the switch console controllers. I also have long acrylic nails and the small controls that come with the switch are hard to use with the small buttons and sticks. The buttons and control sticks on this are much better suited for me. The grip is good and it's not heavy so I can play for a few hours and my wrists are fine.

Connected quickly (plug it into the dock, and then disconnect after it registers). Great battery life (got about 5 hours of gaming out of it before it started complaining). Better than 3rd party and wired controllers - so worth the premium price.

I love my new switch and while I do not mind playing with the joy con controllers, it does not lead to the best long-term gaming experience. Well you might be a little hesitant to pay 70 controller, it only 10 bucks more then other consoles controllers and I have to say I feel like this one is built the best. Insanely long battery performance and straight up comfortable.

Joy-Cons are to be used in each hand while you are in a natural position, as opposed to the pro-controller. The pro-controller forces you to hold it in front of you. I replaced the original joy cons because of the lagging and the pro-controller was $10 cheaper. Sneaky devils Nintendo. Pick cute, expensive joy-con replacements or the pro-controller. Which is more expense to make, I wonder?

Bought an off brand controller at first but decided to get this one and try it out. I was significantly impressed. This one is heavier and just feels much better in your hands. Works amazing. If you can afford to get this controller, I would say get it above any off brand one. This is the best controller out for Switch.

Subtracted a star because of it's price ($70 when I bought it). It is $10 more than a Microsoft or Sony official controller for an Xbox or PS4. This should be $60, especially when you consider it doesn't even have analog triggers like the PS4 or Xbox controller. There are much more reasonably priced controllers, made by PowerA for example, that match this in build quality and function. I actually ended up returning this for the PowerA controller. That being said, it is comfortable and a high quality controller. It is especially more comfortable than the joycon grip that comes with your switch if you will be playing for longer periods of time and don't need the versatility/portability of using the joycon grip.

Excellent controller, love that it charges and comes with a charger- best one to use with this system! Good weight and nice handling for games, even with gyro controls. Battery life is good and still usable when charging (just pop it into a USB plug & outlet if the cord doesn’t reach from your system). I was also able to easily apply a vinyl skin to match my system.

Really the best controller option for the Switch. Excellent battery life, comfortable to use, and considerably better than the joycons and stick gamepad.
