Currently the best controller for the switch

It’s expensive, but it is a higher quality controller compared to the rest of the wireless ones in the market. I was having trouble with the joycons while the switch is docked - it would disconnect every few minutes. I already had a (slightly cheaper) wireless controller, but needed another for 2p. No connection issues and solid battery life, so I can’t complain!

This controller is a must. It feels great in my hands and adds a level of control that was missing using the default joy con controller. This pairs easily with a Nintendo switch And holds a charge for a good amount of time The rumble is a little funny it’s a very gentle vibration and unlike controllers for other consoles

The controller looks amazing as it is, but it feels nice to hold, and works very well. The battery lasts insanely long. I've been a huge fan of Xbox controllers, but I think this might take the cake, I am in love with how this controller feels and functions. and the subtle transparency in the plastic adds a really nice effect! I bought the splatoon one for my friend and now i bought this one for myself.

Picked this up because I was fed up with the drift issues of the joycon controllers and I refuse to purchase anymore of those. I was worried this might feel bulky or heavy but it's quite comfortable and easy to use. Battery life is pretty good too. I wish I would have bought this sooner instead of wasting money on the joycon controllers.

Worth the purchase for your switch. This controller is much better than the Power A. It feels great playing all sorts of games with this controller. Battery is also really good (and easy to recharge) compared to the joycons which were driving me crazy how fast the battery on those go.

The Switch Pro is probably my favorite controller to use for my PC. The dpad is a little lacking but everything else is fantastic.

This controller feels really good - better than the PS4 and Xbox One controllers - PLUS it has a lot of nice features such as HD rumble and Amiibo reader built right in! Great large buttons for extended gaming sessions, and the battery lasts 40 hours! While the joy-con controllers are great that come with the system, this is perfect to have as a 2nd (or 3rd) controller! Highly recommended if you can find it!

Much better/comfortable than the joy cons. Much like the Wii U pro controller, buy with a nice matte finish, sturdier build, and amazing battery life (three days! Same as the Wii U but still great) Highly recommend. The d-pad is especially much better if you play platformers, retro games, or 8/16/32-bit indie games.

Possibly the BEST Nintendo Controller Ever??

I have fond memories of many Nintendo controllers throughout the years, but this one may take the cake as the best. It is certainly the most comfortable, and has the better battery life over its WiiU counterpart. Been using it with Zelda and Mario Kart, and its a huge improvement over the joy-cons. I'm not thrilled about the price, but once you start using it, its definitely money well spent. Recommended!

The only downside is I wish the controller was a little less expensive. I absolutely hate the joycons so I'm really glad they sell actual controllers. I wish they would have sold at least one with the main switch that can be used as a home console beause I never play handheld so this was a must. It feels great and I haven't charged it in 3 days and it still has juice left. Tried playing zelda without it and it felt impossible at least for me. Highly recommend getting this. You may want to look into a wired one if you're planning on always being close to the screen and trying to save a little bit of money.

A little pricey at $70 but if you're going to be gaming consistently and you have problems with the original controllers then I think it's worth it. My hands are men's size small and I had problems with the Joy-Cons being too small. This controller is a little larger and much more comfortable. Also the charge lasts for a very long time so I rarely have to worry about it.

Feels like a Xbox One controller and buttons are layout pretty similar too. Way more comfortable playing with for long periods of time versus the joycons. Battery life is really good too, especially when comparing it to the PS4 controller. I would say it also has the strongest rumble out of any of this generation controllers as well.

Feels good in my hands and doesn't feel like a cheap money grab by Nintendo. Battery lasts for what feels like an eternity and has great response time. If you're reading this review and thinking about saving a few dollars by getting the 40 dollar one just ball out and get the pro and you won't regret it.

First and foremost, the ergonomic design of the Pro Controller is a real game-changer. It fits perfectly in my hands, providing a comfortable grip that allows me to game for extended periods without any discomfort. The layout of the buttons and the analog sticks is intuitive, making it easy to jump right into any game without missing a beat. The build quality of the Pro Controller is top-notch, as expected from Nintendo. It feels sturdy and durable, giving me confidence that it will withstand the rigors of intense gaming sessions and everyday use. This controller is a significant step up from the Joy-Cons, and it feels like a premium product in every sense.

Great way to enjoy the switch. Looks and feels similar to an Xbox One controller. Excellent for games like Breath of the Wild, Xenoblade Chronicles, and other rpgs. Certainly feels better during long play sessions than the joy-cons. I like this controller so much that I bought one for my fiancé to use with her switch.

I picked this up because my wife wasn't a fan of using the Joy-Cons, even with a grip, to play Mario Kart or Mario Odyssey. She's very pleased with this controller, and I found that even though I don't mind the Joy-Cons, I too like this Pro controller. It's got the same nice feel as something like an Xbox One or PS4 controller, and it seems to be well made. Definitely recommended.

    Gaming with 4K TV streaming

Bought this controller to use with the Samsung Gaming Hub on our Q90F 4K TV. This allows us to play games through the XBOX Game pass (if you have that), LUNA which if you have the Amazon Firestick will have some free options to play those and NIVIDA gaming if you have that subscription. This is really a good option if you don't have a gaming console and want to game on a newer TV that offers streaming gaming where all you need is a Bluetooth controller and a subscription to one of the gaming services offered through your specific tv. I also purchased this controller since my daughter has a Switch and we are also able to use this contoller when we play co-op games via her switch when hooked out to the Q90F 4K TV.

This has to be one of the best peripherals nintendo has made available for their third person games. Comes with a rumble, completely wireless plus motion control if youd like BUT the price for this is kinda too steep. Makes it very difficult to buy 2 controllers if you want a friend to play with you and slightly disappointing that it's only offered in black. If you dont have the cash and prefer more of a personal touch then I recommend getting the wireless themed ones (though they mostly dont include rumble) or the wired ones which are also available in a variety of themes. These tend to be much cheaper than this pro controller. Still worth a buy IF on a sale.
