I already had a pro switch controller when it came with the Switch bundle. I had bought some 3rd party controllers for when we multi-play. This pro controller is the real deal - very well made and the battery charge lasts so much longer then the other controllers we have for the switch.

I have always loved the GameCube controller. And this switch controller reminds of that great gaming controller. While the joycon’s are a neat experience, the Pro controller takes the cake in comfort and longevity. It last a seriously long time without having to recharge it. And playing Zelda or Mario Kart for hours is a comfortable experience, as opposed to the joycons.

4 years owning a switch and I finally bought the pro controller. Didn’t want to get an off brand so I went with this one. It’s great quality and feels great.

Personally, I think that this controller is way more comfortable than the joycons. Control sticks feel better, the buttons feel better, the + and - buttons are positioned better in my opinion. The batteries last for a long time. Also, this controller can be connected to a pc using a Bluetooth adapter which I think is nice. Overall, I recommend this product.

This is a great remote upgrade for your Nintendo Switch! If you play games constantly this is the controller for you. The “nun-chucks” if you will, get tired after awhile and can hurt my hands. This remote is a perfect comfortable replacement for that. Long lasting battery and quick to charge! Worth the purchase!

I absolutely love this controller for the Switch. It feels like an Xbox controller so it is not uncomfortable to switch from system to system and it is durable. My one year old has gotten hold of it many times and there's not even a scratch on it. The only downside is if you are playing certain games you need the small controllers. For Mario Kart, I would recommend this controller!

Its the best pro/non pro controller. The gyro is the best. The comfort is at the top, but im confused how they charge $70 and call it a “pro” nothing about this controller says pro. Its laughable. Its the controller that should of came standard in box. It is really good and your options when it comes to decent quality are low. I always go for the 8bitdo ultimate, or this. The only 2 out of the grip of controllers ive tried worth having.

A bit smaller than I'm used too, but it feels excellent in my hands. Very responsive and lasts a long time on a full charge. I use it whenever I play Breath of the Wild or Smash Bros. Ultimate. I'm still not used to the button layout, but I'm getting there. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a controller for their Switch system.

I was a little skeptical of the high price but after buying I didn't regret a thing. Was using the joy con grip but switching to this took about a day. Feels super solid, nice weight and textured plastic. The joysticks and triggers are amazing in my opinion. Battery life is awesome. If I had to quantify I can use it to play 3-4 hours a night all week before charging or better.

We decided to have a weekly family game night and I picked up three of these and we couldn’t be happier. They paired easily and each time we go to use them they easily connect and we are ready to go. They fit fine in all size hands and keep charged. So glade we got these because they are definitely worth every penny for the fun we have with them.

    The Way to Play Switch

I truly enjoy the Switch Pro controller. One of my favorite parts are the longer thumb sticks than what you would find on other console controllers. It might have caught on because the PS5's DualSense controller has added length to their thumb sticks as compared to the DualShock 4 from last gen. In my opinion, when you're playing on a TV screen, there's no other way to play Switch than with the Pro controller. The other buttons feel good too, especially the shoulder buttons. If you asked me a year ago whether I though it was expensive, I would have said yes. However, considering the price increases in gaming hardware across the board, I think this controller is just as good of a value as any other manufacturer's. Battery life, to me, is impressive. You can log a lot of hours in before having to recharge from my experience. And as opposed to the Joycon sets which have already lost maximum charge in less than a year old, I have a pro controller from a year after Switch launch that still operates the same as new.

The absolute best controller for the switch and one of the best controllers ever. You owe it to yourself to get one if you ever play in dock mode. Feels really good in the hands and feels like really good quality. Battery charge lasts a long time. More than any of my playstation or xbox controllers.

I have decently large hands, and while I have dealt with the included joycon controller adapter, my hands cramp up pretty easily. That is not the case with this controller. The build quality is great, the battery life is great, the thumstick height/motion is way better than joycons, and I love how big and snappy the ABXY buttons are. My only complaint is the d-pad. I don’t use it much, but in side scrolling games it’s easy to bump up or down (for some reason I always hit the up button) when quickly going from side to side. Not a deal breaker for me, but might be for someone who primarily uses the d-pad. Also the price is a bit high, but I also had lower expectations of quality for the lower price I expected.

I picked this controller up because I bought Xenoblade chronicles 2 and needed a 2nd controller for Mario Kart. I think it's a fantastic controller and feels way better in the hand than the joycon controller. Definitely a better option for a long gaming session. The price is fairly expensive, but I feel like this controller will last until the end of the switch's life.

The sleekness of this controller makes it feel smaller than it really is. It's also lightweight so you can play with it comfortably for long periods of time. It's just a tad bit expensive; you can regularly get xBox or PS controllers for $50 if you opt for the "boring" standard colors. It's best to buy this one when it's on sale.
