I’ll admit I was hesitant to spend this kind of money on a controller for the switch but I have to say it was money well spent. If you’re considering buying this controller I encourage you to go for it. It has an amazing feel to it, has good weight and is overall a great controller for the price.

I really love this controller. In comparison to xbox and ps5 controller, I appreciate the snappiness of the buttons and the overall feel. Great battery life so far and charges quickly. a Must Buy if you are gaming on Switch

I mainly purchased this controller for a proper d pad, and softer buttons when playing Mario Kart. I was surprised by how well the controller actually feels in my hands. It has a good weight, and is very ergonomic. So far it has had great battery life, and no lag when playing. My only complaint is that the dpad is't exactly stellar. I still prefer the PS4's dpad over the Switch Pro Controller. The dpad can feel a little "clicky" at times, where the PS4's has a very smooth feel that makes it better suited for fighting games. Lastly, the face buttons have a nice feel, but are a tad bit to large and separated, I've found myself pressing the wrong button at times when playing Ultra Street Fighter 2. All in all, this is a good controller.

Good quality a little pricy so i was hesitant to actually buy this controller but the difference is night and day. Definitely a must buy if you’re putting in a lot of gaming hours.

When I first got my switch, I opted for the less expensive, unofficial controller. Now that I've invested in the Pro Wireless, I see how much added value comes with this fantastic controller. It is comfortable to hold, has the right amount of weight to it and makes for an overall fantastic experience while gaming. Thank you, Nintendo!

These went on sale so I scooped one up. My wife and I liked it so much I order another one and picked it up the next day. Retail price it too high in my opinion. If you have been eyeballing one of these I’d recommend grabbing it. Even better if you get it on sale. The battery life on this controller is awesome too.

The joy-con controllers for the Switch are the worst thing ever if you have hands bigger than a six year old. This controller is excellent, comfortable, charges with USB-C like most modern phones, and the battery lasts for hours. If you're an adult, or even a teenager, get this controller. It's a necessity to actually enjoy playing on this console.

For a traditional feeling of a controller, this is it. It's comfortable and feels natural. The buttons aren't spaced out so it's effortlessly easy. I forgot how long the battery lasts but it took about 4 days before I had to charge it. Although I didn't play games for 12 hours at a time. I usually play about 2-4 hours a day. Overall, it's one controller to have with the Switch

This is one high quality controller. The battery life is insane and it feels like a Xbox controller (in the best way). I had only used the joy cons before this controller and WOW, what a difference! All the features of the joy cons in a very sturdy, COMFORTABLE and long battery device...nice!

I read good things about this controller but didn't expect that I would like it myself so much. It feels heavy in hands and has monstrous battery life. I wish microsoft and sony could keep up with this battery life. See through design feels a bit weird at first but now I started to like it.

I didn't like the little controllers the swich came with. This thing is awesome. Its perfectly weighted, the controls are precise, and the buttons are excellent. It is a high quality controller, and shows that money does buy better quality.

This is an amazing controller for those who will play the Switch constantly, it is a comfortable controller and the quality feels amazing. I've used it to play Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and will in the future with future Switch releases such as Mario Kart 8: Deluxe and Splatoon 2. The overall battery life is amazing too, with it lasting longer than the Joy Cons.

It’s a solid controller, feels well made, and it’s definitely an upgrade from the joy cons, BUT it’s too expensive in my opinion. $70 for this thing is just Nintendo being Nintendo. New Xbox and PS4/5 controllers cost less. If you can find it on sale or for $10 less, (WM) pick it up. PS. It DOES hold a charge incredibly well. I’ve had this thing for about 2 weeks now, have only charged it once, and it’s STILL at 50%.

Huge improvement from joy-cons in terms of joystick feel and precision. D-pad is functional, but inputs are sometimes registered incorrectly (not a major issue for me, as I do not play D-pad heavy games). Charge lasts a very long time. Pricey, but worth it if you frequently play your Switch in docked mode.

If it is hard to get used to two handed operation of the switch this is the way to go. Great battery life, comfortable, and similar to other console controllers. Just fyi if you get a wired controller to save a few bucks you will probably be wishing you got this first as they have issues. We ignored the warnings and here we are now.

The thumb-stick covers do not come off

I had the Nintendo Switch with 4 Joy-Cons (2 each side) since 2018. Everyone in the family and their friends love it, but especially our toddler loves to bite on the thumbstick which always results in the thumbstick pad getting removed. Now all 4 of them are lost, probably to the housekeepers vacuum cleaner. Of course these only cost about $5 each to replace, but as I researched this I also realized that our 8 year old really struggles with holding the two separate Joy-Cons, she really just wants them both together in the Joy-Con grip or attached to the Switch itself, which meant I was connecting and un-connecting a lot of Joy-Cons all the time! I finally realized that the Pro Wireless Controller was the permanent solution to these minor inconveniences, and also made Completionists in our house much happier with the smooth responsiveness and comfortable grip. Now I am considering getting a second one for multi-player mode. Best accessory I have gotten so far for our Switch, makes the games much more enjoyable!

This controller is a must have for playing with the switch docked, much better than the joy con controller and the battery lasts a long time. The only con is that it’s expensive at $70, if you can get it on sale for $60 or less that’s a more reasonable price.
