If you play any games requiring quick input this is definitely worth the investment. Breath of the Wild and Dark Souls Remastered both reqlly benefit from having crisp controller input without lag, and not having to worry about drift and disconnecting as regularly is a big bonus. The controller is also physically more comfortable than Joy-Cons, and that can play a big role in longer sessions. It does lose a star for battery, however. If I go a week without using it, it will have no battery charge no matter how much it had last time I powered it off.

After buying the new Nintendo Switch, we thought we didn't need any other items since it contains two controllers....WRONG! Almost immediately, we had to come back for this full sized adult controller. Unlike the stock controller that divides into two smaller controllers with super-tiny buttons, this full size controller is very comfortable. We spend hours at a time whenever we play Mario and we have no complaints with this controller. We like that it is a rechargeable controller and that it uses the USB-C connector (becoming the new standard in electronics). Lastly, the charge on this charger seems to last a long time. We don't find ourselves having to stop playing in order to recharge the controller.

The D-pad isn't the best and that means something less when it's from Nintendo given they make the best in the business and still works great overall. The battery life is great and the controller feels overall very sturdy and solid in your hands. I prefer this with Mario Kart and NBA PalyGrounds when playing multiplayer and on the tv. A Must buy!

For games that don't require the joy con this controller is the best. Nice hefty controller good tactic control and doesn't have the drift issues that the joy cons tend to have. If you have a switch and want to play games like normal controllers this would be the best way to go.

If you have a switch you need this! It’s so much more comfortable than the joycons and I have yet to experience any drifting. The battery life is amazing! I could go days without needing to charge it! I was hesitant on buying it because of the price but it’s 100% worth it!

I picked up the controller after watching a video review on IGN. I really enjoy the controller, it is comfortable, much like the xbox 360 controller in feel. Battery life on the controller is more than 40 hours per charge. Motion controls also seem very responsive. Only complaint is price, but now that I have it, it is my preferred way to play.

This is my favorite controller Nintendo has ever made and the best of any console I’ve owned including PlayStation. The D pad is not the best but is adequate.

This controller is very comfortable and made for those of us who have adult size hand. While I love the joycons, they can feel too small at times. The battery life on this controller is pretty good, but not as good as the Wii U Pro controller. This controller uses bluetooth, so I have even used it to play ROMs on my MacBook and Windows PC.

I really love this controller. The comfort and easy to connect when gaming with other friends Switch consoles. It has a great grip and long battery life. I highly recommend this to anyone that wants to improve their Switch gaming experience. 5 stars easily!

Super comfortable controller that gives me the ability to play wireless to my tv same as I do my Xbox. Playing Zelda with this is a must I literally will never use joy con’s for any game I’ll just have 3 of these controllers

This controller is great! Using the joy cons were fine but I am a grown man not a child so i needed a man controller. I was being cheap and did not want to pay $70 for no controller so i was glad this went on sale and I couldn’t have been more happier. Feels great in my hands. Big buttons. Thank you Nintendo!

Other that a SD card. This controller is a must have for your console. Great for anyone used to an Xbox. Controller works great and love the feel. Love the functionality of motion control and vibration that work on this like the regular controllers

The pro controller is really comfortable. Way more than the joycons attached to the grip. The right thumb stick being closer to the center of the controller makes it a lot more comfortable on the thumbs. The controller is hefty but in a good way.. Definitely worth it, especially if you're going to spend a lot of time on a game like Zelda.

This controller is a must if you want to be great in certain games . I think you can go by with the joy cons on games designed for them, however for games that require more "finesse" like Zelda, Mario, Fifa etc, this controller is definitely a must! Battery life is great, I can go 2 o 3 days with it without charging.

Super comfortable with no stick drift compared to the joycons!

I bought TWO of them. VERY important to have. I cannot express the benefits of how long it keeps a charge. Almost suspicious. <grin> . I could not be happier. Very durable and love the response. Much more comfortable playing longer sessions vice the joy con. (Think Nintendo did that on purpose to avoid massive non-stop playtime).

Still the best controller to use for the Switch lol no drifting. My other one lasted a good 5.5ish years before wear and tear got to it. Definitely got good mileage out of it

This controller is so much better than using the joy cons... it's certainly pricey, but I'm glad I got this to play Zelda and Mario on. It seems hefty and durable, reminds me of my PS4 remote. The rumble in this controller is also really responsive and impressive. Charge lasts for multiple days of playing, I'd recommend buying it.

This is possibly the most comfortable game pad I have ever used across Playstation, Xbox, and past Nintendo systems. It is a truly good feeling controller with outstanding battery life and full Switch functionality. I was unable to find another controller that didn't ask me to sacrifice some functionality.

This controller is perfect for my Switch! Don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with playing using just the joycons, but this is so much better! The Grip remote is okay but feels kind of weird but this feels so natural and it's wireless too, so that's great. Costs a fair amount but it's honestly worth it in my opinion.
