Nintendo does controllers right. This is the second one I've bought and this thing is a beast, lives forever, and connects at a distance. The detachable controllers do work, but for an actual gaming experience, go with this. Unable to re-program buttons for games, though. That's the one negative.

A bit of a steep price for a controller, but the wireless function makes life easy and the battery lasts awhile. Definitely recommended for those with a more flexible budget.

If you plan on playing your Nintendo Switch on the TV a lot, I would suggest purchasing a Nintendo Pro controller. The Pro controller is very comfortable to use and it is excellent for playing Mario Odyssey, Zelda, and Mario Kart 8. The battery life on the Pro controller also allows for longer playing sessions.

Super comfortable controller! Buttons and joystick are more accurate feeling than the joy cons. Overall it feels natural and a "no-getting-used-to" feeling. To top that off, the charge lasts forever! I'm not a big player, maybe 4 hours a week, no hiccups :) I just charge once a week and never have any issues with it!

Very comfortable controller with a significantly more premium feel than other consoles' controllers. The only drawback is no headphone jack.

The battery life. The comfort provided while playing any video game makes it more enjoyable. Highly recommend

Since Joy-Cons are out of stock I decided to purchase the Pro Controller instead. So far I'm happy I did. I get hours of game play so battery life is very good, it is comfortable in hand so no cramping and I have small hands. The rumble is nice too. Would recommend.

The kids love this controller and it's very sturdy. Holds up well to all the wild game play and young kids who drop it more often than I like.

Many people say this is overpriced. But when you use it everyday, It’s totally worth it. it’s a real solid controller. Nice job Nintendo! Hope it’s going to last long though. The down side for the plus and minus button it hard to reach / feel.

The controller is nice to hold and the charge lasts maybe about 20-30 hours of play time. I like the semi-transparent black color scheme. The controller is not quite as comfortable as DualSense. I also feel like $70 is a big ask for a controller with much less features than a DualSense. It does what it needs to do, but could be better.

I had been using the joy con controllers for a while and they started to drift pretty badly. I decided to get this for myself and I'm amazed at the difference. The Joy cons work well, but this is above and beyond.

Good controller. Felt a little odd going from a Power-A to this. Seems a little more sleek. Anything to not have to use joycons when playing docked. Find what fits your needs. In my opinion Nintendo likes to put a little extra margin on their products, charge more than what I think they’re really worth.

I've had my Switch for several years now (since the console was released) and I should've gotten a Pro Controller a loooonnggg time ago. JoyCons are known to be unreliable. They tend to disconnect, get drift in the joystick, etc. plus the joy cons can fit awkwardly in your hands. I've gone through so many joy cons due to drift, it's ridiculous. I finally decided to splurge on a Pro, and it doesn't disappoint. The Pro controller fits comfortably in your hands, is solidly built, and no more drift! Honestly, it's the best; and I've used Xbox and PS controllers before. The Pro is solid. Highly recommended to make your gaming experience better.

Purchased this for my son. It allowed him to eliminate the restrictions of the wired controller. The freedom to move to more comfortable locations in the room and also not have wires to the console that needed to be walked around was very helpful!

Comfortable controller, Very similar to the Xbox one controller in size and design but a little lighter. The only problem I had was it did not want to connect at first but after some trouble shooting online and restarting my switch it connected and has worked like a charm ever since.

Great controller, works as you would expect it to. the Gyroscope works on this as well, you'll have to turn it off in the game's settings. Feels high-quality, fits well in bigger hands ( a lot better than the plastic piece that comes with the Switch.

I love this controller. It holds the charge well and it honestly lasts forever. I personally don't like using the Joy Cons, even with the attachment. The only time I like the Joy Cons are when I am on the go with the Switch unit itself and play it via handheld. Besides that... The PRO controller is the way to go.

Amazing controllers compared to others! Love the feel of this one as you can tell the difference in quality and as much as I play this definitely fits for it's feel! Especially for 3D games, so def recommend this is you're a gamer looking for something to use on the switch

Motion controls like the regular switch controllers, fits comfortably in hand, great battery life. It’s a great controller and will please your picky friend who doesn’t want to use a non-traditional controller in Mario kart or (down the line) smash. I’d recommend for anyone who wants a traditional controller.

I got this controller when i knew I wanted to get Splatoon 2. This controller is a perfect grip for me while playing Splatoon 2 and was easy to handle. I haven't tried it with Mario Kart Deluxe but I know I might love it on this one too. To me this controller feels more at ease with my hands than using the hand grips.
