The Controller feels comfortable to use. It’s durability is decent. Sensory is stabilized. Time to recharge the controller is fast. I want an optimal controller for Nintendo Switch and this is exactly what I wish for.

I purchased this controller because I was having so many connectivity issues with my joy cons that came with the game. It didn’t take long at all for me to get used to the feel! It feels great, the battery lasts a long time, and you don’t have connectivity issues! I love it!

This is such a vast improvement over the standard joy cons. Has the right heft, responsive controls, and a quality build. I have no complaints about the battery life and no longer need to worry about the recurring drift in the previous remotes.

Great alternative to the tiny Nintendo controller

This is the ultimate Nintendo Switch controller. Perfect for people that have normal sized hands and don’t like the tiny stock controllers. It’s pretty similar to the Xbox Series X controller in feel, just wish it was a little heavier.

The controller is nice to hold and the charge lasts maybe about 20-30 hours of play time. I like the semi-transparent black color scheme. The controller is not quite as comfortable as DualSense. I also feel like $70 is a big ask for a controller with much less features than a DualSense. It does what it needs to do, but could be better.

If you have a Switch this is the best controller you can get. It's not cheap but it's worth every penny. Usually the best way to play any Switch game unless it's Smash Bros (GameCube controller).

    Best Switch Controller Around!

I had two sets of joy-cons, for the sake of having a spare set, (before the dreaded joy-con drift became a reality.) I had a fully enclosed case for my Switch and didn't want to constantly remove it to use the attached joy-cons. My hands aren't the largest in the world, but after awhile, I found the joy-cons to be a cramping way to play. I finally broke down, and into my wallet, and purchased the Pro Controller. Greatest move ever!!! The fit is much more comfortable than playing with the joy-cons, and gives one all of the features of the joy-cons (motion control, Amiibo NFC connection.) It's much better than holding onto the small joy-cons, even with the adapters that allow you to use them as a larger controller. And of course, as of date, there is no problem with joy-con drift!

Great quality as I’d expect from a first party controller. I honestly wish it were a few dollars cheaper to make it feel like a better deal, but after using it for a bit I’m not mad. I’ll probably get a. Second one..

Best controller for Switch hands down!

This really is the definitive controller for the Nintendo Switch. The only reason I gave a "Good" rating for the Quality is due to the main faceplate being a magnet to the oils that our hands secrete. Despite using anti-bacterial wipes to remove the oils eventually with time from pressing the "-", "+", "O" and "Home" buttons the matte of the faceplate will begin to develop grease. Nevertheless, overall this controller is impressive and amazing. The reason I consider this the definitive Nintendo Switch controller is due to the many features it offers like an Accelerometer, Gyroscope, HD rumble and built-in Amiibo functionality and you can also connect it with other bluetooth compatible devices. The size may be a bit small for adults but nothing that distracts you from gameplay. The battery is really good as well, this is the must have Switch controller.

Day 2 having the controller i Can see the difference between aftermarket controller and this one. Faster, easier to handle, the feel is on your hand is great and the battery is about right 9 hours playing time. The controller is on the high side but I recommended.

Best controller for the switch. Battery life is great and charge cable is long enough to play with plugged in. Comfortable over long periods of gaming and thumb sticks are smooth and grippy. 2nd one of these I’ve purchased and well worth it.

I recommend this controller if you can find it under $70. $60 and under is what it should have been. Nintendo priced it too high but the controller itself is very good and the JoyCon grip is fine but for longer/bigger games you will be playing for hours non stop, I recommend the Pro Controller.

This controller is incredible! I was on the fence for a long time due to its high cost. The bigger buttons and the nicer control sticks make it totally worth it. I enjoy playing Zelda even more now because of this controller. It is much more comfortable for long sessions! The battery life is awesome too!

Good controller. Felt a little odd going from a Power-A to this. Seems a little more sleek. Anything to not have to use joycons when playing docked. Find what fits your needs. In my opinion Nintendo likes to put a little extra margin on their products, charge more than what I think they’re really worth.

The Pro Controller’s face buttons are big – much bigger than the tiny Joy-Con buttons – and give a nice press. Thumbsticks also feel excellent, and, Miyamoto be praised, they’re offset just like on Xbox. The handles feel great, too; they’re just the right size for comfortable, extended gameplay sessions. You also get a real d-pad, which is an undeniable advantage over the tiny, separate directional buttons found on the left Joy-Con when it comes to playing classic-style 2D platformers – that might come in handy on a Nintendo console. I also had no issues using motion controls to solve Breath of the Wild’s controversial Myahm Agana shrine. Battery life from the built-in, rechargeable power source is phenomenal, with a claimed 40 hours that I’ve yet to successfully run down. That crushes the seven to eight-hour life of the DualShock 4, and may be similar (or perhaps even superior) to the AA-powered Xbox One gamepad. If you simply use the included USB-C cable to charge it once in awhile you’ll be hard-pressed to run out of power.

It’s The Better Way To Play

The reason I took off a star is because I feel that the d-pad is mushy. However, the rest of this controller is just plain better than the joy-cons. The sticks, for example, offer a much greater range of motion and make you feel more in control of your games than you are using the joy-cons. The buttons are much nicer to use than the one’s on the joy-cons as well. Don’t get me wrong, the joy-con sticks and buttons are better than say a PSP - but they are nowhere near this controller, or the competitors controllers when it comes to quality. Also, the “Thx to all game fans.” message was a nice touch.

    Overpriced and Overfeatured

This is a fine, comfortable controller that well exceeds the capabilities of the Joycons, but, at the same time, it's definitely not worth the exorbitant price tag. Nintendo definitely could have cut some features, such as HD Rumble and Amiibo scanning, to lower the price - and the controller would have been no worse for it. Additionally, there are some tiny faults with this controller that irk me quite a bit more than they should given its, once again, incredulous price tag. For example, the right control stick is way too close to the Y and B buttons, which makes it all too easy to accidentally swipe. Also, the -, +, Screenshot, and Home buttons are essentially camouflaged visually and tactilely, meaning you're going to be mishitting them way more often than you'd think. And the control pad just doesn't feel all that good to press. It's very scratchy. In my opinion, you should invest in a cheaper third-party gamepad. Not only are they cheaper, but they're far more beautiful and probably higher quality as well. And, really, do you need HD Rumble and Amiibo scanning?

After all 4 of my joycon controllers experienced stick drift I purchased this controller and I must say its 10 times better. Feels pretty similar to a xbox one controller. Definitely plan on buying more in the future plus their cheaper than the joycons.
