It was hard deciding between the Nintendo-brand or other brands of Switch controllers. Ultimately I decided on Nintendo because it has the vibration feedback during gameplay and it's rechargeable. I did not like the lack of color options (I'm spoiled from the vast array of colors for PS4 controllers.) Or the high price tag of such a boring-looking controller. But it meets my needs and feels high quality for my extended video gaming sessions compared to using my joy-cons.

Only controller I have liked for the switch. Has good weight to it and is the perfect size.

This is actually the second one I've purchased and I don't regret it a bit. Between the comfort of holding it in my hand to the long battery life, this is a must own for anyone who wants to play their switch in docked mode for any extended period of time.

Best accessory for your NS hands down. The controller has everything the joy cons have with an exceptional grip. The only turn down is the price, but I decided not to take away one star for that, ITS THAT GOOD! For people other than small children, this is the best way to play.

Super comfortable and responsive. It is my controller of choice. Long battery life also. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes the feel of traditional controllers. I personally find this better than single joycons (too small) or dual joycons in a grip (just not quite perfect).

Great controller. Got it for Tears of the Kingdom, so far worth it. It's pretty basic for the price but it's a solid option

I love the feel. The battery life is so long ive had to charge 3 times and ive played tears of the kingdom for 100 hours!

The pro controller is more comfortable, while it doesn't allow multiplayer like the joycons, this is designed to fit naturally on your hand, it feels organic, your hand just fits where the stick and buttons are, very good battery, lasted 30 hours of gaming before showing low battery

The price tag was STEEP, but with the 2 joy cons I needed one more controller to play with my 2 kids so grabbed it. I gotta say I'm impressed with what they've done with this controller. Vibrations are subtle, feels great in the hands and battery life is looooooooooooooooooong.

This definitely beats using the joycons that come with the switch... that may have a faulty connection that causes control issues. This has no connection issues and is comfortable for my child-sized hands to hold. It also seems to be suitable for normal adult-sized hands. It is just unfortunate that Nintendo did not see fit to include this with the switch and/or lower the price on this considering the known issues with the left joycon. I have not used any third party controllers so this is the best I have tried, but may not be the best overall.

I've been using a 3rd party controller for the past year and finally upgraded to a pro controller. I like the grip, the feel and the tilt functions. Great purchase and I got the warranty just in case I get the infamous drift.

Very durable, extremely high build quality, buttons are soft, long use before charging, zero drifting problems, comfortable to hold for hours, can be used to play games on PC. Highly recommended purchase if you have a switch.

I've gone through a couple controllers for the Switch. Every one I've been at least slightly disappointed. The Pro controller is the exception. Durable, comfortable, and with just the right amount of heft.

If you own a Nintendo Switch, then this accessory is a must have. Esp if you intend on playing games such as Zelda. It’s wireless with easy to grip comfort. Very handy for when playing long hours at a time and/or for when playing games where several buttons are required.

Seriously, don't bother with 3rd party controllers. This one is far superior in function, design, durability, and feel. Others are iffy at best. This one may be a little bit more expensive, but you'll be happy in the long run that you shelled out the extra money.

Perfect for an additional controller. Bigger than the original joy con controllers so feel normal if you are use to a Xbox controller. Battery lifespan says 40 hours and it is right. Charging cable can also charge the Switch if you are in a vehicle (just need a USB port)

I had heard good things about the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller so figured I would pick one up to try it out. Played through Mario Tennis Aces with it and was satisfied with the controller battery life, responsiveness, and weight. I plan on keeping it.

This controller greatly improved my playthrough of BotW. The front buttons are much larger and better spaced, and the triggers are as well. The only thing I don't like about this controller is its price, but it is a high quality controller, so you are getting what you pay for.

It’s nice you can use the JoyCons that come with the Switch as a controller, but the Pro Controller is way more comfortable to hold and has super long battery life. I think at least one Pro Controller is a must have—get two if you game with a friend!
