Even though the Nintendo controllers are more expensive, they do work better than other controllers. They also allow you to power on the Nintendo Switch which most other controllers don't do and they have have built-in rechargeable batteries. If Nintendo would lower the price and come out with other controller designs I would give these controllers 5 stars.

Great controller, never lets me down. Very easy to set up on pc and switch. Has a good feel to it as well as being way better than joycons. Too expensive though.

You don't know what you missing until you have a Switch Pro Controller in your hands. It's comfortable, feels like an Xbox controller, and the battery last a very long time. Highly recommended.

bigger controller for adult sized hands makes it easier to use than smaller Switch controllers and rechargeable battery means you don’t have to spend more buying AAA batteries all the time.

Incredible Controller, Even in the Switch 2 Era

My main controller is the Xbox controller. With that said, the Switch 1 pro controller feels much higher quality. I bought this before the Switch 2's Pro controller was even a twinkle in my eye and I even use it on the Switch 2. Buttons are snappy, thumbsticks are smooth, materials are fantastic, and the build quality is grade A. I only wish Nintendo would go back to having analog triggers...

Size is good, but recommend the PDP rubber skin and Analog covers for more bulk and grip as the base is slippery. A/B/X/Y buttons some of the largest I've seen, shoulder buttons while the D-PAD is on the small-ish side. Wish that the + and - buttons were raised and the Home and Screenshot button stay flush to better differentiate. USB-C connection is nice, but wish there was a dedicated off switch.

Excellent controller. I wanted this one specifically for size and weight. Got a knock off as a gift and it never lived up, so I got the real thing. So glad I did.

It's a solid controller. Holds a much better charge than the Wii-U pro one did. I use this for most games though the default Joy-Con is fine too in most cases. This just has a more comfortable feel in your hands.

Good size for adult hands and has a more traditional button layout if you really want. Great for more competitive games like Splatoon 2 or Arms, but the Joy-Con can be just as comfortable for slower paced games.

    Necessity for Switch Owners

If you own a switch, you pretty much need this controller. While the Joy-cons are OK for short periods of gaming, anything longer can really cramp up your hands. The pro controller feels and looks nice, and makes playing for longer sessions more enjoyable. I only have 2 complaints with it. I think it is a little expensive and they were hard to even come by when I was looking for them. Nintendo really needs to work on their supply issues.
