Nice controller for switch with very long battery life. It's hefty but feels good in your hands. A little easier to play Zelda with then controllers that come with the system.

This is the most comfortable controller to hold on any system. It's perfect for long sessions, and the best thing for games like Zelda BoTW

Great controller for Animal Crossing Player. It’s more comfortable than the Bobcoon controller and has a higher quality than jc.

Controller design seems to have more or less standardized these days. This controller will feel familiar to most anyone who's owned a console made in the last 10-15 years by Sony or Microsoft. Charge seems to last a good while and I haven't had any noticeable input lag as the responsiveness seems top notch. Really my only complaint with the controller is that there doesn't seem to be a way to remap the buttons and the placement of the "Home" and "+" buttons. I find myself constantly hitting the wrong button or accidentally hitting one of those buttons (usually the "+" button). I'm sure I'll get used to it, just been using an Xbox for longer than I'd care to admit so I'm used to that button layout. If there were a way to remap the buttons (which seems a rather basic feature to me) it would be perfect. Still an excellent controller otherwise though.

Much better than the Joy-Cons, especially if you are used to Xbox/PS. Good battery life, nice weight to the controller.

Buy the Nintendo Pro Controller if they have the money to it is expensive but it's well worth it every time I played with my Nintendo switch in handheld mode I felt I was going to snap the joycons right off right off With the Pro Controller I could use the Pro Controller and leave the joycons on the switch and the battery life on that controller is incredible I don't exactly remember when I bought it but I charged it once and if I didn't have to charge it until 3 months after I wish the PlayStation 4 controller had that type of battery life on the charge

I had my switch for a few weeks now and was loving it but i wasn't a big fan that the detachable controllers dint have the most amazing battery life for my long gaming sessions. So i caved and went and bought the controller, i didn't look anything up about it or its battery life I kind of just bought it. When i got home i finally read how a full charge takes 6 hours or so but the control has a battery life of 40 hours. I was skeptical but man was I wrong the controller lasted for my long sessions various days before needing to charge and when it charged it felt no where near 6 hours. I seriously recommend getting one.

Not only is it comfortable to control, I'm surprised at how long it lasts between recharges. In my opinion one of the best controls that Nintendo has done.

A good controller nonetheless, it definitely feels like and has the layout of an Xbox controller and feels good in the hands. The flaws I’d say are the mushy buttons (X,Y,A,B). They just don’t have enough click or spring to it which is a bit unfortunate considering the pricing. I was iffy on the trigger and L/R button because of the low travel but over time they are quite nice. The battery life on it is very good since I’ve had it I have only charged it maybe 2-3 times.

I use this to play battle my son in his super smash bros game. I was hoping this would give me an unfair advantage. He still beats me, but not quite as bad. Maybe its his youth and my slow reflexes. I still just hit buttons like mad not really knowing what they do. I"m sure someone with a little skill and knowledge would love this. It vibrates nicely and the battery life is good.
