This controller is well matched with the switch. Works flawlessly and is cosmetically nice when paired wkgh the switch. When taken care of, these controllers can last for what feels like forever. Definitely a high recommended product.

Bought this as the joycon I have has stick drift. This is a nice controller and I haven't seen any issues left. I also replaced my joycon's stick so now this is just a good nice-to-have controller.

I ordered a pro controller with my Switch preorder already suspicious about the price yet requiring something to accommodate my old school game controller demands. I now see why it's worth every cent. It's the perfect size, it has built in Amiibo tap, and it does what the joycon does while serving as the current generation answer to the classic controller style. It even has rattle and motion control features as we discovered during the Splatoon test fire last weekend. When you get your hands on that Switch you're just waiting to see return to stock, get one of these to go with it...or get two

Probably the best video game controller I've ever had. One charge seems to last forever and it's super comfortable.

First time I held this in my hand, it was heavier than I was expecting. This is a good thing. The d-pad is big and has a slightly rough, matte finish so your thumb won't slide off easily. It has all the features of the JoyCons except the IR-pointer, so it has stuff like HD Rumble and gyroscopes (for motion-controls in Zelda and Splatoon). The sticks and buttons are also bigger and more comfortable than the Joycons'. I do not like using the JoyCons unless I have to.

Great controller for wireless gaming. It is sturdy and does the job quite well. It does not have the ergonomics of the PS4/PS5 or Xbox controllers but it still gets the job very well done. I felt the joy cons, even when attached to the comfort grips, did not give me that "feel" of character motion that I have gotten used to. I am glad that I got this. Like most controllers though, it is a bit expensive.

The controller feels sturdy and responsive. I find holding this much more comfortable than the joy cons, but that is just personal preference.

This controller is so great, very comfortable to use and lasts a long time on a charge. My only complaint is that pressing right on the d-pad sometimes registers as pressing up. This is an issue for some people that play certain types of games that require heavy use of the d-pad, which is really inexcusable at the price point of this controller.

I've had this over a year now and it is absolutely necessary for anyone playing in TV docked mode. It feels great and works well. Battery life has been good and around the expected 40 hours that Nintendo says. My only issue is the D pad doesn't have a center support which prevents pressing multiple directions at the same time.

Overall, pretty happy with the controller. The build quality is nice and the battery lasts a while but it is a little expensive for what it is.

This is one of the best controllers you can get for the switch. Battery life is phenomenal, you can wake up the console with the home button. What I don't like about it is the d-pad is trash. Horribly inconsistent with inputs. If you can overlook the mediocre d-pad though, it's otherwise a great controller.

At $70, it's definitely on the expensive side but it's easily one of the most comfortable controllers I've ever used. The battery life is also really impressive.

Works perfectly. It's nice that it's wireless and works from a good distance. I use it about 6ft away from the console. Battery lasts a couple of hours for me.

Feels perfect in the hands. The D-pad is a little too sludgy to me (I keep having bad inputs). It's a little pricy at $70. I'd rather have got it around $60.

Definite upgrade from the joy cons. Long battery life and extremely comfortable

My son stands no chance against me when I use this controller against him in smash. I was scared he would beat me, but then i got the pro controller and dunk on him continually.
